I've been bing my cigarettes from here for 33 years. NEVER have I had extra charges until today! All of a sudden, if you pay by card, there's a 4% charge on top of $70 per carton. I am an old lady that is now FORCED to pay by cash. How many people are going to get robbed before you think this is a BAD IDEA? You don't think we get jipped enough already? This place has the best prices for cigarettes if you are ever in Tucson AZ you need to a stop at Chico's Smoke Shop. The Carton of Benson and Hedges was $85, out in California they go for $130. They have a great variety of smokes and cigars and Tabaco. You may see a long line, however the line moves fast. Gotta try C/S read more

I have been coming here for 32 years. I moved about 40 minutes away and STILL make the drive every 2 weeks. They're always friendly, even the guards greet me. I've had many surgeries and all I had to do was call them and they'd get my order together for my husband to pick up, no fuss. I recommend going as early as possible. Due to COVID, the inside store is closed, so the lines are a bit longer outside. read more

After shopping at Chico's for about 2 years, once each week, I will be going to Tobacco Barn from now on...... Pulled in to the drive thru like I always do but was informed by the young lady working the window that I now have to show ID in order to purchase cigarettes. The problem with that? I'm pushing 70 years old and using cash for the purchase! I parked the car and went inside to question this new policy and was told by Tanya "This is our new policy, everyone shows ID, if you don't like it I can have security escort you from the premises". When I called the head office I was told that this policy is now statewide and that EVERYONE will be doing it, which is an outright fabrication. In the few days since I have purchased cigarettes at Circle K and Tobacco Barn and no one has requested ID since I am obviously over 21 years of age and using cash for the purchase. I simply do NOT like the idea of handing an ID or credit card through a window where I don't know the employee and can't see what they are doing with the ID, they could be making copies and using the information for scams or something! read more

I have never had such poor customer service. I smoke American spirits and was assured by the cashier that they were fresh even though they were on clearance. I said great I will take four packs. I got home went to open my pack and they were hard as rocks super crunchy and very harsh. STALE CIGARETTES!!! I've then called Chicos to state my situation and politely asked her if I may return the three unopened packs that I bought so that I could purchase my regular color and flavor. I was totally Denied, They stated that I will have to just keep my cigarettes and smoke them because I could not return them. What a load of shit. I will not be returning as a customer. read more

Far better than the "other place" *coff tobacco barn coff* They have 4 drive through windows, 2 cash only, 2 cash/credit. This makes them efficient. You will save more money in gas not waiting 1/2 an hour to be served by a friendly representative rather than a surly woman with a bad attitude, despite it being a little out of your way. Normally I wouldn't do this . however we have been excellent customers every week here at Chico's . today went to use my husband's card to pay for our cigarettes and they took his card and would not return it due to their card machine not being updated and Management was to lazy to try the card again. I had to go back to my house 15 plus miles away to get my husband who was sleeping because he works nights. And not to add they treated us like Criminals. I'm busy and have no extra time in my day to day to run back and forth. It says 8am then I expect 8am. Not 9am. Please update your info on the web. Its 2019 ppl. Always closed, late opening. Slow cashiers or talk to much to other people. Cheap, yes but service bad and business closed because they don't pay taxes and have cheap wages is not where I would patronize. If you run a business, you need integrity. read more

I have been a customer here for years and never had an experience as disappointing as today. I drove about 45 minutes to buy cartons because let's face it circle k is way too expensive. I drive a big ol' Dodge Ram truck so sometimes it's hard to fit into some drive thrus. Anyways, as I'm pulling into their drive thru to get my cigarettes I had to back up not even a foot to fit in and as I'm waiting to get to the window the security comes up to my passenger window where my mom is sitting and proceeds to almost yell at us for backing up, we said okay, and then he keeps going on and on yelling into my window while I have my mother and my kids in the car so my mom rolled the window up and we pulled to the drive thru window. The lady in the window then told me that I had to pull out and come back around to get my cigarettes? What difference does it make if I do that? Then the security guard come up behind the woman and told us that we needed to leave that we would not be served and that they had already called the police. Well I had just driven 45 minutes so no I'm not going to leave without my cigarettes for no good reason so I pulled around into the parking lot to go in and try to talk some sense into this guy. As I walked up to the door he came out and blocked the door and told me to leave the property and "go to circle k for your damn cigarettes". Instead I sat and waited for the police. When they showed up and I explained the situation they literally laughed and told me that they couldnt believe how immature this security guard was being. Even the cop told me to just go to tobacco barn and not come back here and that they just lost a loyal customer. Needless to say I will not be returning to this place and tobacco barn has earned my business from now on! If I could post no stars I would! read more

This was the most embarrassing time I shopped here. Been coming here for years. And the blonde cashier that's fake blonde anyway was out doing her stuff in a hurry Huffy Huffy hurry so I had exact change $8 bucks and 50 cents so I saw that she was busy I gave her everything I had I grab my cigarettes then she's went nuts trying to stop me so I go back she comes that I have exact change then proceeds to check my $1 bills if they are counterfeit mind you there's a line behind me and she totally completely embarrass me like I'm a thug that I could get counterfeit bills or that I'm going to cheat her by giving her $3.50 and walking away with two packs she needs to be taught a lesson and customer service because she sucked read more
