My husband is sick of destination T-shirts. So if I'm traveling, I automatically steer away from them and go for something he'll use. Since my kid and I were already on N. 4th in Tucson, Moon was convenient to get hubs a wooden pipe. Timing was everything since my kid and I were heading to the airport. Although hubs has used several wooden pipes over the years, he wants to collect them. Plus, he wanted us to get him a pipe that's specific to Tucson. Greeting was instant from the guys. Service was smooth when I mentioned to them I was looking for a wolf wooden pipe- which they had for sale. Price? Under $15. End of story. read more

Greeted before entering the store, sincere attentiveness, among other factors, are why Moon Smoke Shop deserves a great review. I went with the idea of picking up the Lookah Seahorse pro which someone at work had introduced me to. I was very impressed with the level of attentiveness, knowledge on the said product, and professional manner of the employee I interacted with. My eye caught alot of other products I intend on coming back for. The prices around seemed favorable and they were opened xmas eve! I will definitely returning. Every time I come in this joint, it's good vibes from the greeting, on...this last visit was helped by Andy. I went in for some coils for my evolve plus and was asking about a different set up that was referred to check out. Andy knee it wasn't the best and referred me to the best for my budget. After leaving the store, I found it didn't work. Immediately went back where Andy greeted me with a free upgrade for the trouble and a couple free stickers to go with it. Moon on 4th has established it a bit more since I stopped in when it first opened, but upon entering, you'll find typical Moon fare - lackluster employees (who barely grunt "Hey, got ID?"), mass-produced water pipes and a generally empty, characterless vibe. If you know what you need, this is the place to come. For me, I'd rather buy from a store that feels friendlier, more relaxed and more established, which of course is Hippie Gypsy, right across the street. read more

This place keeps getting better. Locally blown glass that's super sweet, a pantheon of your basics, and I say that in the best way. Mostly killer prices, especially on Am. Spirits when you buy two... Gypsy has nicer selection but this place is getting better all the time, challenge the staff with questions and eventually you'll see results, just understand there drones not the Queen so don't be mad if "they" cant do anything for you. I went here after literally being screamed at by the staff at the smoke shop across the street. The guy at the counter was a boss, and helped me get me and my girlfriend a new ecig, with juice and custom colors. I actually went way over my budget because of the premium tanks they were selling for like 10$, I couldn't resist. The dude knew his stuff too, and despite it taking us a while to make our selections, was extremely attentive. I spent almost 70 dollars, but got 2 ecigs with great tanks and custom colours. This particular visit was w a friend purchasing a vape. Obvi not the best place to go but my friend somehow deemed me the vape expert and insisted my presence. Kinda glad I went bc the dude behind the counter wasn't much help and didn't know much about vapes. Buddy seemed happy w his purchase initially but the E-juice leaks frequently. Oh well. But aside from vapes, they have everything you can imagine wanting from a smoke shop, including minimal dab equipment. I prefer " The moon" smoke shops over any other shops in town. The customer service is always amazing!! Everyone always has a positive attitude and are more then helpful with all the questions I have. You can't beat the prices, BEST in town for quality glassware. Also even if you don't smoke this location has all kinds of Drinks ( bottled water for a quarter , 25 cents!!! Amazing !! ) and other drinks, candy, snacks, top tarts n stuff. Plus Mac n cheese and ramen. It's like a one stop convenient store that happens to sell water pipes also. Really just a cool place to go and get all your needs from a bunch of employees who don't treat you like crap. If you want to be treated like dirt go across the street to hippy gypsy. read more

The service in this place is awful. I was here with my fiancee a few days back and the guy id'ed me. Although, I doubt I look 18 lol. They didn't have the item in stock we needed. So, yesterday we went in and when we walked into the store the guy said oh you guys are back. We said we were back to see if they had the itemizer he needed. Although, he asked for my ID again. I told him I left in the car and ask if he recalled checking my ID two days prior and he said yes. I told him I didn't mind going out and getting my ID however I was hoping he would check and make sure they had the atomizer before we walked all the way back to the car and walk back in with my ID. He said he could not check and see if it was in stock until he checked my ID. So, I walked out to the car got my ID and brought it back in and it soon as he checked my ID said oh yeah we still don't have those in stock. He didn't even have to look he told me the second he looked at my ID they didn't have it. You would think that he would have just told me that instead of requiring me to go out to my car which was four city blocks down and get my ID and then come all the way back. He knew I was in my thirties and to me it seem like just a power issue. Although, his power has led to me never shopping with him again. I don't smoke however my fiancée does and I often pick up supplies for him and like yesterday was buying him the piece that he needed. I will not shop somewhere that's so unhelpful. The fact was is that he remembered me and a remember checking my ID and he still made me jump through hoops to tell me that he couldn't help me. Very frustrating. top it off the entire place is completely smoke filled it is hard to breathe and especially for someone that is a non-smoker. read more

I have been coming here since my 18th birthday, and this is by far my favorite smoke shop in Tucson!! All the employees are kind, patient, friendly, and they take the time to make each customer feel like part of the family. I came into town to visit for a week and I absolutely HAD TO stop by and say hi to all my favorite people!! They have loads of locally blown glass, and every piece is beautiful, sturdy, and unique. Definitely the #1 most popular smoke shop(s) in Tucson! They have a wide variety of tobacco products/smoke items. I would say that this location in specific has an exceptionally large glass selection; they have something for everyone. They have very fair prices and are always well stocked. This location also sells cold drinks including can soda for 50¢, very refreshing to have while walking down 4th Ave on a sunny afternoon. They've got cigarettes, loose tobacco, papers, lighters, torches, glass pipes, silicone pipes, bowl pieces, water pipes, hookahs, vape products including juice, oil burners, Zippos, honey straws, and more!!! You could spend all day looking at the variety of cool stuff in this store, but I wouldn't recommend it since they do get a regular flow of customers. The place can get a little crowded on busy nights. Next time you're on 4th Ave, be sure to stop by and see what all the hype is about! read more

Buyer, BEWARE!!! Do not spend your hard earned money in this store on any electronic or high priced products unless you are already familiar with the particular model and know that it works. The store does not stand behind their products. They will sell you anything in the store whether it is functional or not ... and then hang you out to dry! The other day I bought a vaporizer (for a hundred bucks!) that doesn't work. They wouldn't even let me trade it in for an upgrade and more cash ... because they know the device is bogus and they are GLAD to have unloaded it on me! So, Dear Buyer ... BEWARE!!! Went to the shop to try to by coils for a tank I previously purchased here. They did not have any coils for the product so I decided to try to buy another tank. I asked for help picking one out but the employees had no information about any of the products. Furthermore there were no coils for any of the tanks they stocked aside from one. I decided to purchase a new tank that was nearly $50 along with a nearly $30 bottle of liquid. I asked for help setting it up but once again the employees knew nothing. I tried putting it together in the store however the liquid leaked through the device and got all over my hands. With some experimenting I found out the tank also screws onto the base, when the employee told me it only needed to be pushed on. So after cleaning up that mess I brought the tank home and filled it up the next day and screwed the base in. The tank leaked all over the desk at my job and in my car. It made a huge mess and also wasted a lot of expensive liquid. I called the store to see if they could help me fix the product or refund it. The person on the phone did not seem to care at all and said they could not do anything to help me. Really pissed off that I spent about $100 in this store on tank, liquid, and coils, and they do not stand behind it at all. read more

There are three Moon smoke shops that I know of in Tucson, and this one is by far the best. We went in to get a e-cig vaporizer for my husband and noticed right away how clean the shop was. Nicole (sp?) helped us pick it out and even showed him how to set it up and clean it. She was very knowledgable concerning the product and also professional. Bought a bubbler for 130$ and expected it to be immaculate . Upon closer inspection there are two Cracks on the inside of the glass . It doesn't leak and is an awesome bub minus the cracks , I expected way more . read more
