In addition to their ample beer selection, bottled drinks, basic foodstuffs, fishing and hunting supplies, and deli, they also have good hot foods, good enough for this gas station to be one of my father's favorite restaurants. Before you start picturing him leaning over the checkout eating a hot dog off the roller grill, I should mention that they have a side room with a few booths and tables and will bring your food out to you. And, in terms of food, they have quite a variety- the stuffed peppers and chicken wings are my personal favorites. Or, if you're there in the morning, either on your way to go hunt or or your way to work, definitely consider the breakfast combo. For under $5, you get a 16 oz coffee, hash brown, and wonderfully filling breakfast sandwich that comes with two sausage patties and two eggs. Whenever I get this, I'm filled until lunch. As I have noted, though, Fuel & Food is a popular destination for sportspeople and they have seasonal contests for the heaviest fish, nicest deer, and other "great hunts." While I certainly do appreciate the skill and reward of catching a really nice animal, I have to admit, I once accidentally chose to sit next to the "wall of fame" before eating and found that I had lost my appetite upon seeing a number of pictures of dead, bloodied animals. Again, good for the hunters for the great catch, but if you have a more delicate stomach like me, you might want to opt for a booth on the other side of the room.

She had her car serviced there while it was still under warranty but they were going to charge her an arm and a leg. She stopped here after a friend of hers also had work done at Sawyers. Rodney, the new owner of Sawyers gave my aunt a far more reasonable price than Mangino's. While waiting for the part to come in I called from Maryland and asked if I could take care of the bill. He was more than accommodating and an absolute pleasure to talk to. When my aunt had to drop the car off for service they drove her home and then picked her up when it was ready. Rodney called after the work was done and I paid over the phone. My aunt was super thrilled with his and his team's friendly and honest customer service. As was I. She won't be going back to Manginos. Not affordable if your warranty is expired. Rodney, thank you so much for being such an amazing addition to the community and providing great services at fair prices!

We were an hour away from home and the cashier James was so generous and helpful by letting us know if we need to cool down and come inside or if we need to use the bathrooms to come on in. He then checked on us to make sure we were good and before we left he gave us free cold drinks. He is such a good person many people wouldn't do that but he has a good heart. Again thank you so much for your kindness and this is definitely one of the best places to get gas, snacks, or ice cold drinks on a hot day :)

Sure enough, the price for my premium gas was really low and the place was immaculate. Clean gas station islands, clean large convenience store and clean restrooms. There's a Taco Bell restaurant inside the store and there are showers as well for those needing to use them. Easy to get on/off the highway.

Now is the time for Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. There were only three in the hotbox when we arrived at the 67 Stewart's Shop. We took all three. They were extremely warm. When we got in the car with our treasures, we opened the packaging to find each was a healthy portion of chicken in between two waffles. The mapley smell of the waffles hit us first, so we anticipated the sandwich would be really sweet. The reality was that the spicy chicken and the sweet waffles yielded an amazing balance of flavors. While the sandwich certainly could've been crispier, you have to take into account that it is pre-made. It was a delightful treat. Overall, we highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. It thoroughly satiated our morning appetite to prepare us for the big day of fun ahead.
