Attacged is a photo of 2 new sliders installed in my home. Months after installation, I was referred by a friend about Steves window cleaning. My windows were ruined as Steve obviously not very intelligent scratched both of my sliders. He said oh. Opps. And never offered to repair the damage he caused. He is so unprofessional. I dont believe he is licensed. He has a horrible attitude. He's overpriced and I would never recommend him to anyone. He may ruin your windows too!! read more

I am saddened some have not had the great experience I just had with Steve's Window Cleaning. Very reasonable cost, arrived on time, set about the gutters and windows with no fuss and great efficiency. In 90 minutes or so the gutters are clear and the windows, some on second story, are sparkling. The owner works along with his crew, so problems I've had in the past with another service where unsupervised workers were less than thorough simply could not occur, and I suspect they would not occur, with Steve's crew. I couldn't be happier with the work, the efficiency, the professionalism. I plan to use this service in the future, both for windows and for gutters/downspouts. I have a much smaller place, luckily, so my cost was a whole lot less than hers (I forget how much, but it was reasonable). The crew showed up on time and did an amazing job in no time flat. Sure, I have a single storey house with easily-accessible windows, but it's still a pain to do, and Steve's (actually his son Aaron's) crew was fast and, more importantly, thorough. I have a small house but the windows haven't been done in a long time. Aaron (Steve's son) arrived right on time, had a crew of three. They power washed the outside of the house and under the eaves and did the screens that were on the outside. Then in the house, working fast and thoroughly, wearing their socks. I had given them permission to stand on any furniture or beds ... after all, I do! But they only leaned in from the outside or put their knee on the furniture. They were amazingly fast and I feel like I'm in a bright new house! I did put a tip on my check ... plan to use them again!!!! read more

Referred by a friend who loved the work Steve's did for her. Steve, the father, is now retired. Aaron, the son, showed up on time with a crew of three. Our house is tall and I told Aaron, when I first called for a quote, that he could not walk on the roof to clean the gutters. No problem! Aaron brought tall ladders which he and his crew used to quickly clean all of our gutters and windows. My wife is absolutely thrilled with Aaron's work--our gutters are clean and ready for winter; our windows sparkle! Plus, he did all the work for the quoted price. Aaron and the business came highly recommended by my realtor, and they did a good job on my very dirty windows. However, after they were done I noticed some damage to the paint on my shutters on the second floor and tried to talk to Aaron about the damage and a possible accommodation on his bill. (The damage was in an area that was very difficult to reach and Aaron's crew were the only people who were working in that area. It's hard to conceive how else the damage could have occurred, but I was not on site while they were working, so couldn't point it out at the time.) The conversation went downhill fast. He was very defensive about how his team could not possibly have caused the damage, and wouldn't let me get a word in edgewise as he went on, growing angrier as he went. He also made some borderline insulting remarks about me and my husband. I told him I'd just pay the full bill, and ended the call, partly because it wasn't worth fighting over, but partly too because he sounded so angry I didn't want to be in a position where he could claim a mechanic's lien on my house. Perhaps it had been a very bad day for him, but it wasn't a fun conversation for me either. I'm giving the business 3 stars because while the work and price were very good, the customer relations were not. read more

Because of things out of my control, I had to cancel an appointment. Tried and tried to call him all morning of appointment (assuming that in 2013, a guy who works in the field uses a CELL phone), but no answer. I left multiple messages. He showed up anyway, and I tried to explain the situation, had tried to call, etc, etc. He was unbelievablly rude. I admit, canceling day of an appointment pretty much stinks, but I was very, very apologetic. And he had KNOWN the situation ahead of time. The fact that he uses his home phone number for his business is stupid, and NMFP. I should have read the prior review and known he was an ass but I like to give local people my business. Do NOT use this guy, he's a jerk. read more

I called Steve's Window Cleaning on the best recommendation of the guy who did my blinds, who I found on Yelp and was awesome. I thought he would know good people, but I was sadly mistaken. I should have just cancelled when the guy at Steve's accepted the job then got mad at me because he could not find my house despite Mapquesting it (and not bringing along the directions). Initially he told me he would come at 2:30 pm and the job will take 1.5 hours, and I said it was perfect because I would be home at 4. The day of the job he called to advance the time by an hour and for me to leave the check at the door. Then he left after neglecting to clean the one big picture window that was the dirtiest. Granted, it was difficult to access from outside the house, but that was why we initially agreed on a time so I could be home. AND he did not even let me know! I had to find out for myself when I got home. When I called him back and asked why he did not call to tell me, he said he thought about it but was too busy. I never mind paying for a good job, but this was lousy service and attitude. Fair warning to people who choose this guy-- he has no professionalism. Hopefully this review will push him to treat customers better. Finally, keep Yelping! Everyone else I have found on Yelp have been amazing. read more
