I was really unimpressed by our residential window cleaning. After they completed the work, I texted to let them know that many of the windows were streaky or still dirty. While I appreciate that they were receptive and sent someone back the next day, I had to specifically point out each issue and many of them were not addressed. At some point, I honestly got tired of walking around and pointing out issues that appeared obvious. These photos are from after the touch up, including the screen they did not re-install after I asked. Our quote also included wipe down of the window tracks, which was not done for any of the windows. It's frustrating to hire someone and then feel like you have to babysit their work. We'll be going with a different company next time. read more

He was flexible on schedule and did a great job in only 10 minutes, and had a strong customer-service mindset. I highly recommend Leon at LA Elite Window Cleaning. The response from John to my review on Yelp was odd. There were no photos of before and after, and there was no confirmation of the crew on site via text. I only knew that the crew was here from the Ring camera info. The previous crew was on property for 30 minutes, but not sure what they did as they missed a number of skylights. read more

I wanted to like these guys as it was my second time using them but the cleaning was very subpar and went down in quality. Hastily done and they used rags that smelled like mold to clean all our windows. So now all our windows smell like mold. They also kept saying that they couldn't do a lot of things with high, hard to reach windows and window sills, which was surprising b/c their yelp page did not give me that impression. I feel the $2k I spent on cleaning was definitely not worth it. If you're looking for some general cleaning, maybe they will be a good fit for you but if you're looking for some detailed work, this place definitely missed the mark. I do not recommend. read more

One star for window cleaning, quality control, and caring about others' property. They are nice, polite, and friendly people, but the review is for how well they cleaned the windows/screens and cared for the property while doing so, not their demeanor. I'm not using the names of the guys who came to the house b/c the review isn't positive, and I don't want them feeling publicly attacked or identified. The review is for L.A. Elite Window Cleaning. Two guys came to clean the windows and power wash the deck, front patio and driveway. One did a great job with the power washing, but the other wasn't so successful with the windows. In 28 years of owning our home we've used three window cleaning firms, and this is by far the worst job anyone's done on the windows. Our usual guy didn't have availability, so I called Elite based on all the 5-star reviews. I won't be calling them again. Not all the windows were cleaned. They seemed surprised when I asked if they'd cleaned the exterior of the second story windows in the back (view side) of the house. They hadn't, and didn't. This had never happened previously with other firms. The website shows them working on challenging homes, but they were flummoxed by our hillside home. The window guy broke a pull on a blind on one of the windows. I know exactly what happened, he pulled it the wrong way, the stop went into the gears and the pull snapped because of the force. He suggested it was already broken when he got there. No, it wasn't. As a professional, he should know, test a pull before yanking on it. I was able to re-thread it and fix it while they were here. I told him that I had done that and not to worry about it, his response, "I wasn't worried about it." That's not what one likes to hear when a contractor's in your house breaking things. He also pulled another window off its track and left it sitting on the window sill. When I was upstairs I noticed it, he had moved on to the downstairs. I put the window back in the track. He said he didn't know how to do that so was going to ask the other guy. He should know how to do this as a "professional" window washer. Overall, most of the windows that were cleaned look fine, however, all of the windows, door tracks, and screens need to be clean and streak-free when pros are cleaning your windows, and they weren't. Many of our windows open in, so very easy to clean both sides, but the exterior facing sides and screens on most of these windows weren't touched. A couple of days after they left, I looked in the tub in our primary bathroom and noticed dirty water spots the length of the tub from when the window was cleaned. There was a puddle of water left on the hardwood floor that I had to clean up because the guy had moved on and left it there. On the front window there were squeegee streaks, the remnants of a bird strike that had happened earlier, and water spots. On the wall next to one of our sliders there were dirty fingerprints. These are things that had never ever happened in 28 years of getting our windows cleaned. Elite Windows may be nice, and polite, but they are not very detail oriented, careful, nor have high quality control standards. A supervisor did come out to fix the things that weren't done correctly, but even he left a line of water drips all across the bottom of a 7' long window. I waited for the revisit before writing this review, and the revisit showed there really isn't much quality control with this firm. Even the supervisor leaves water marks on the windows when he's finished, which I really didn't expect. I emailed John, in Elite's office, with a video of the window and told him not to bother sending anyone else out. I got on a step stool and took care of it myself, which it seems is more than Elite Windows can do when they're being paid to do just that. read more
