The owner- ANDY - called me and spoke with me about my issue and explained that the person I was working with and the hard pushing sales man had both been fired. He offerred a full refund of my money, which I didnt ask for, but a GOOD business owner should always offer. The only reason I didnt leave a 5 star after speaking with Andy is becasue I feel that He IS sincere, but needs to put his personal contact information or have a place to file complaints that go to him as the owner on his site. When I had my issue, I had no idea that there was an available owner who would have cared and responsed and HOW to get to them. Andy is agood local small businessowner who cannot be properly represented by all of his employees and will gladly extend himself to maintain honor in his business. Definately give them a try!

My AC stopped working on 5/17 so a tech was sent out on 5/20 to see what was wrong. He told me the…read morecoils needed to be replaced or the whole AC should be replaced and that they would give me quotes on both. He asked me to pay $89 to which it would be applied to whatever service I chose. Hadn't received a call or quotes on 5/22 and when I called, was told they were busy. Called 5/27 (1 week after they came out) 3 times and left a message saying I still haven't received a quote (and all before the supposedly closing time). Called 5/28 to follow up on the message I had left the day before and talked to Chelsea who said they were busy - asked for a refund at this point because even though I'm an existing customer and paid them $89 to tell me my AC needed something done, they couldn't be bothered to give me prices. Was told I would be given a call back. On 5/29, I called 4 times after not hearing anything (could not get a person on the phone so I left a message) but had my boyfriend call who was able to get someone on the phone (I have a 614 # so pretty sure my call was being screened). On 6/1, I called from my office phone and talked to Julie who said she would follow up. 2 more calls later that day and was told that the owner said no refund, I would receive my estimates to which I said absolutely not, that is unacceptable and bad business. After hanging up, Julie called me back and said the owner would call me the next morning. No call received from the owner on 6/2. It's now been 2 weeks and not only will I not get my money back, the owner won't talk to me and I still have not received any quotes/estimates. Bad business model and awful communication. I get that I will have to wait but I have contacted better companies the day after for "2nd" opinions and they came out and gave quotes the same day! DO NOT RECOMMEND and I have contacted the credit card company and will be contacting BBB.

We bought an $18,000 A/C unit from them 3 years ago and in the past 5 months, the boards have blown twice. The first time this happened, a tech came out, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in 48 hours. Last week it blew again allegedly for a different reason and the "parts were ordered". So my elderly parents did Labor Day weekend in 90 degree temperatures inside. Having to sleep in 90 degree air after an $18,000 purchase is ridiculous. No one should be treated this way. It's been a week and all we hear when calling is "the parts have been ordered". Last time it took 48 hours to fix it, now it's been a week and do you know what ETA they gave us on parts being in? It'll be 3 more weeks before parts are likely to be in. Additionally, when the manager we spoke to learned about the situation, his first reply was that he didn't have A/C as a kid... not sure how that's relevant but I can take a guess as to what the intention was behind the remark and that's extremely unprofessional. Guests are coming to stay for several days and they'll have nothing to offer those guests but a stuffy room. This really is the bottom of the barrel service. To our knowledge, the techs that have come out are good at what they do, professional etc, but there's always an upsell and the product quality and management is an embarrassment. I will be recommending Arlinghaus heating and cooling from now on and the next unit will be from them.

Rick is our usual tech and he is the nicest, most professional and knowledgeable tech. He even worked on a day he had dental surgery! So 2 days ago, the worst happene. I woke up to my thermostat reading 82 degree. I was certain it would be days with this heat wav. I called and was shocked to find out they would be here in a few hour. A young man named Chase showed up and despite having to work in the furnace room in the basement , about 6 by 8 feet, he never complained, and figured out immediately it was a blown motor. He explained everything to me and let me know he needed to run to the shop and grab a new one and would be back in about 20 minutes. It was 104 outside. I was freaking out bc I have health issues and one of my dogs has an airway problem and heart failur. He was back in on 26 minutes and we had cool air within 3 hours of it blowing! We are on a maintenance plan with them and have been since we moved back home here 10 years ago and have always been thrilled. And Chase by the way , was so respectful and hard working I had to force him to take a bottle of water and as he was leaving he said "oh you have an Amazon delivery!" i knew it was a box about 50 lbs and he grabbed it for me and carried it inside for me. I can't recommend the company enough! Thank you so much !!! 5 stars!

Our furnace completely went out in the dead of winter, with several inches of snow on the ground, we had a new born and I called everyone looking for the best price and who could AND would come out to fix it. Not only was Bruce the most reasonable, he cared about our situation, where most of the other companies couldn't/wouldn't even see us for days! Naturally our air compressor would break when it's in the 90's! Yes, he saved the day and quick and efficiently. But, he's not just there when it's new units. He's ALWAYS on the other end of the phone to trouble shoot. If it can be avoided that you don't have to pay for a service call, he will do everything in his power to make this happen. Most companies won't talk to you on the phone to help you fix a problem. They only want to come to your home so they can be sure they are benefiting $$ One time I called thinking I had a major issue and called and asked to schedule him to come out (I had already budgeted it into my expenses for the week) after 20 min on the phone, and Bruce walking me through many things..... I just needed to change the batteries in our thermostat. If we were to use another company, we would have paid for them to come out and an hour of work for batteries! I share these lengthy stories to try to give you just a glimpse of the professional that he is.
