He said he would call back after the holiday weekend to schedule a time to come out and complete the work. We never heard back. I have still never heard back even after letting the secretary know that this was an issue. It's October and time to move on to another company. I don't know they just feel it's not worth their time unless a customer is getting a new furnace, but I would say don't bother with this company.

The folks at Comfort Experts are second to none for boiler furnace heating systems. We bought a new…read moreboiler almost 10 years ago from Zimmer Heating & Air. Zimmer did the install. As business owners we research all major purchases. These folks looked great to us. Sadly, we needed repairs EACH year they stopped by to do our annual maintenance. By Fall of this year in 2024, they sent someone who didn't do annual wellness service care. We were stunned. He said no worries, I'll snap a few pics for the owner. We received a $2000 invoice saying the furnace needed another repair. We are loyal clients for Zimmer all these years. One of our business clients told us about Comfort Experts and Less the owner. We have never looked back. Less pulled out our owner's manual and showed us we were missing a very important sensor wire. My husband said that he agreed to take it off with the advice of Zimmer. Keep in mind, they were the ONLY ones to ever see our boiler furnace for repair. It took weeks to obtain all the parts missing from our furnace. Since their service the furnace purrs! It no longer switches on/off and is loud. Our home is WARMER and efficient. THE ONLY folks we recommend moving forward is Comfort Experts with Less at the helm. He KNOWS furnaces. Jennifer his Office Manager was able to calm us immensely from the process it took to bring back the smooth functioning results that they established with us. Our old service pros, Zimmer suggested this furnace is old and we may need to get a new one soon. Shish! Right time. Right place here in Cincinnati, OH to find Comfort Experts. Thank YOU Less and Jennifer. We can now get back to work running our own Company. We sleep soundly. We appreciate YOU and your Expert services.

They are now working on getting the thermostat so that it does not run basically all the time and not heat the place well. Set on 72 and temp 66. I have been told by Chris a few days ago the stat should have a setting for emergency heat. The reason this is not a 5 star review is the advertisement stating 24/7. First, contacted the day after service that the heat was still not running properly. The fellow (Jake?) called me back to say he had reached out to sevicemen but none had returned his call. This was Saturday. The problem would be dealt with, apparently, the "first of the week." I called today, Sunday, to give them further information and got an answering service, who obviously knew nothing about what I was saying, but would give them the message." I'm not sure these two incidents truly represent 24/7 service. You can contact the company, but I think service on the problem is implied when 24/7 is advertised. I'll be happy to edit my review when the heat problem is ironed out.

I was given quotes for a replacement system that seemed to be very high. I got quotes from several other companies that were significantly lower. I will now use this company for routine service and for when I do need a replacement Reupert will be getting my business.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using United Heating and Plumbing…read more We had our entire HVAC system replaced less than three years ago, and the ac unit has already broken down four different times. A system this new should not be failing repeatedly. The last time the owner, Matt, came out to repair it in April, we told him we were concerned that the air conditioner itself might be defective because of the constant problems. He told us to "trust him," reminded us that he owns the company, and assured us that if anything happened, he would come back out and take care of it. My husband believed him as he had been great to work with up until this point. Now, just a few months later, our HVAC has been broken for over a week. Despite the system still being under the warranty we were told the company provides, we cannot get anyone to respond. We have called and texted all three phone numbers we have for the company multiple times and have received no response. When you spend thousands of dollars on a new HVAC system, you expect reliable equipment and a company that stands behind its work. Instead, we've dealt with repeated breakdowns, unfulfilled promises, and now complete silence when we need warranty service. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend United Heating and Plumbing.
