Other companies want to come out and quote you. We stopped by Home Depot and they quoted us a price $200 more, and we never heard from them again. Since Just Water Heaters is BBB accredited with an A+ rating, and their Google reviews are 5.0, we decided to give them a try. Dale, the owner, answered the phone and promised to come out the next day. He confirmed the price that is listed on his website and kept us posted when we could expect him to arrive. He was professional and the work is great. We highly recommend Just Water Heaters.

Rick is our usual tech and he is the nicest, most professional and knowledgeable tech. He even worked on a day he had dental surgery! So 2 days ago, the worst happene. I woke up to my thermostat reading 82 degree. I was certain it would be days with this heat wav. I called and was shocked to find out they would be here in a few hour. A young man named Chase showed up and despite having to work in the furnace room in the basement , about 6 by 8 feet, he never complained, and figured out immediately it was a blown motor. He explained everything to me and let me know he needed to run to the shop and grab a new one and would be back in about 20 minutes. It was 104 outside. I was freaking out bc I have health issues and one of my dogs has an airway problem and heart failur. He was back in on 26 minutes and we had cool air within 3 hours of it blowing! We are on a maintenance plan with them and have been since we moved back home here 10 years ago and have always been thrilled. And Chase by the way , was so respectful and hard working I had to force him to take a bottle of water and as he was leaving he said "oh you have an Amazon delivery!" i knew it was a box about 50 lbs and he grabbed it for me and carried it inside for me. I can't recommend the company enough! Thank you so much !!! 5 stars!

In the last five years, I've called these guys more than I've called my own parents. Clogged drains? Snaked. Garbage disposal sounding like a blender full of rocks? Replaced. Sink basin cracked in half like Moses parted it? Handled. Entire HVAC system wheezing its last breath? Ripped out and swapped like a bad organ transplant. If my house had a medical chart, Jolly Plumbing would be its full-time surgeon. I'm a member now--which basically means I've given up pretending my home is ever going to behave, and instead I've put Jolly Plumbing on speed dial like an overworked ER nurse. And let me tell you: every single time, they show up fast, fix the problem, and manage to do it all while being--you guessed it--jolly. Honestly, if Jolly Plumbing offered emotional support on top of plumbing, I'd be calling them during family holidays. 18 calls in 5 years, and I'm still not sick of them. That's love. Highly recommend--unless you're my neighbor, in which case please don't call them until I get to them first.

Awful company that lied about the job! Darryl, who worked for them in 2018, did the best he could…read morewith the materials they provided. I had roots growing in my pipes and instead of paying another company $7000 to replace the broken pipe at the elbow that allowed the roots to grow in and cause back-ups, he suggested sewer lining, which is supposed to cover all the cracks in old pipes. The quote was $4500 to line 30 feet from the basement out to the end of the yard. There was no mention that the liner can't cover pipe elbows! It was nothing but a disaster! When Darryl attempted to do the job, the 1st thing to happen was the liner got stuck in the pipe, under the basement floor! He had to break open the floor cement to pull it out! He was forced to replace that pipe and redo the floor cement! Then it happened 2 more times! It turned out my pipes were 4 inches and they only had 6 inch liners. Halpin refused to get 4 inch liners! Finally after weeks later, getting the liner in place and supposedly the job was done, my pipes continued to have issues of a back-up on the basement floor! In the meantime, Darryl left the company! I can only imagine why! Each time this happened, I called to complain and they came out and said I had root problems and snaked it to clear it! Each time I asked why I had roots after they lined the pipe, they claimed they told me the liner could not line in an elbow and that's where the roots were! I argued with them that I was never told that but they claimed it was my problem and not under warranty anymore! I told them that from the beginning, I knew the roots were in the elbow and that's what the original job was supposed to fix! I knew because the other company showed me on the video during their $7000 quote! Darryl never told me that the liner would not cover the elbow even though I made a point of telling him that's where the problem was! There's nothing in my quote, either! It says a full 30 feet will be lined! The last guy that came tried to charge me to snake it and I refused! He said he wouldn't charge me that time but anytime in the future, they would! That's 5 yrs ago! I've had back-ups, twice a year since! I've had to call a different plumber each time (Because I refuse to give Halpin another dime) and for the last year have been getting root killer to help! AS A RESULT, ALL PAPER HAS TO BE PUT IN THE TRASH CAN! CAN YOU IMAGINE ALL YOUR DIRTY TOILET PAPER ALWAYS IN THE TRASH!? IT HAPPENED AGAIN YESTURDAY BECAUSE MY 11 YR OLD GRANDSON FORGOT AND PUT PAPER IN THE TOILET AND THAT FAST, IT CAUSED A BACK-UP! I'M NOW 67 YRS OLD AND HAVE TO DEAL WITH POOP BACKING UP ON THE BASEMENT FLOOR, AGAIN! ALL BECAUSE HALPIN PLUMBING RIPPED ME OFF FOR $4500 TO LINE MY SEWER, BUT DIDN'T LINE THE PART I CALLED THEM ABOUT IN THE 1ST PLACE AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME TILL IT WAS TOO LATE AND OUT OF WARRANTY! IT'S LIKE I NEVER HAD THE JOB DONE! I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES I HAD BEFORE THEY CAME AND WASTED $4500! AND NOW I CAN'T AFFORD TO HAVE THE JOB DONE RIGHT! DARE I SAY, HALPIN IS A SHITTY COMPANY! BUYER BEWARE! I'd post picts but I don't want to waste anymore time on them cause I have a mess to deal with!

Called 5/27 (1 week after they came out) 3 times and left a message saying I still haven't received a quote (and all before the supposedly closing time). Called 5/28 to follow up on the message I had left the day before and talked to Chelsea who said they were busy - asked for a refund at this point because even though I'm an existing customer and paid them $89 to tell me my AC needed something done, they couldn't be bothered to give me prices. Was told I would be given a call back. On 5/29, I called 4 times after not hearing anything (could not get a person on the phone so I left a message) but had my boyfriend call who was able to get someone on the phone (I have a 614 # so pretty sure my call was being screened). On 6/1, I called from my office phone and talked to Julie who said she would follow up. 2 more calls later that day and was told that the owner said no refund, I would receive my estimates to which I said absolutely not, that is unacceptable and bad business. After hanging up, Julie called me back and said the owner would call me the next morning. No call received from the owner on 6/2. It's now been 2 weeks and not only will I not get my money back, the owner won't talk to me and I still have not received any quotes/estimates. Bad business model and awful communication. I get that I will have to wait but I have contacted better companies the day after for "2nd" opinions and they came out and gave quotes the same day! DO NOT RECOMMEND and I have contacted the credit card company and will be contacting BBB.
