That company inspected our system and confirmed the need to replace it. As we researched further, we discovered that the other guys had very spotty Yelp reviews, so we decided to go with Rechtin instead. Their sales rep Scott was great! He was a former technician so he knew the details of each system very well. He was as honest a guy as you would ever want to meet. Not only did he not try to upsell us on a more expensive unit, he emphasized that the intro level system was very suitable for our house and steered us away from higher priced options because the extra features and efficiency didn't justify the price difference for our needs. As it turned out, our furnace conked out around this time, so Rechtin got a tech out to us quickly to get our old system running until the new one could be installed. The installation took two days, and the team was superbly skilled and courteous. The price of the work was not just fair, but very competitive. These guys took great care of our needs at a good price, and they were responsive when we needed them. What's not to love?

Their technician "Mike" came today to inspect our heater and determined that the blower motor capacitor was "weak." (Should be 10 microfarads but ours was reading 8.8 microfarads.) He said replacing it (which he HIGHLY recommended) would cost an additional $186.00, on top of the $114 for the heater checkup. Well like a fool I agreed. But then it literally took him less than 5 minutes to replace the part, which I found out can be bought at our local big box store for less than $25. I was so shocked at this price I called the company and talked to Mr. Rechtin, who basically said yes, that's what we charge. Unbelievable.

Ben is very professional and knowledgeable and cares about his work. We had extensive work done upgrading our system for allergies. Ben also corrected all the less then average work our builder had done. We noticed a difference immediately and so excited to have had it done. Worth every penny!!! We highly recommend Ben @ Air One Heating company. We plan to continue a yearly contract with Ben. I've had the privilege of working with him on two occasions and both times was very pleased. And to be clear--I'm very hard to please. Most recently, he installed a whole new Carrier heat pump and air handler system for my nky condo--as mine was dying after 14 years. As he promised, my utility bills decreased considerably. I can't believe how much lower they are and have been thrilled about that! Before doing so, I compared prices on new systems from four other local big name HVAC companies who came out to measure assess and give me quotes and was pleasantly surprised that Air-One's price was very competitive--in fact i saved money by going with him compared to the other 4 companies. He also worked to make sure I got a Duke rebate of $300 for the new system. He shows up on time as promised for his service appointments, had very good communication with me as a customer and really knows his stuff! It was evident to me he truly cares about helping people and does it at a fair and reasonable price. I'd highly recommend him!

After getting several quotes from HVAC companies, including the one that installed our previous system, we chose a Carrier Infinity system from Air-Plus Heating & Cooling and have been extremely pleased with results. Bruce Sibert was the salesman, and he was great to work with throughout the selling and installation process and with various follow-up questions. The team of Alan, Sam, and Tony did a great job of installing our new HVAC system - as well as replacing our old water heater at the same time. All the work was completed in one day plus a quick follow-up visit the next day just to verify that all was well with the initial setup. We have since been through some brutal cold winter nights and have already had a few days needing A/C, and the system has been working great - and with much more efficiency (and much quieter) than our old system. We recently had our free 6-month check-up going into the cooling season, and the system passed all the checks with no issues. We definitely made the right choice going with Air-Plus.
