During our first visit, the door to the room assigned to us was propped open, most likely by housekeeping when they cleaned the room. During the second visit, the bed was not made. Both times the front desk personnel apologized and comped us with breakfast buffet from their lobby restaurant. The hotel is an older property with 2 or 3 floors. Both times the replacement rooms were okay. It was exactly what we wanted, a room with 2 queen beds. The bathroom appeared a little dated. The room was adequate for our needs. If they only gave us these rooms first. Instead of a lounge, this hotel has a "Pantry" where elite Marriott members could grab some snacks, like beef jerky and chips, and drinks and yogurt from their refrigerator. An espresso maker was also available. They also had a freezer with ice cream. The had danishes and other breads for breakfast. I liked having access to the lounge. It's an okay property, if housekeeping behaves. 3 stars.

Absolutely Disgusting -- An Embarrassment to the Marriott Brand…read more This hotel is absolutely NOT up to Marriott standards. The moment I walked into the room, I wanted to turn around and leave. The room was unclean, dated, and downright gross. I felt like I had walked into a rundown, old roadside motel rather than a Marriott hotel. The carpets were old and stained, the toilets and showers were outdated, and the furnishings were tired, worn, and in desperate need of updating. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable, and the lack of cleanliness made the entire experience even worse. Nothing about this room reflected the quality, comfort, or standards I would expect from a Marriott property. Marriott should be ashamed to have its name associated with this hotel. The condition of this property is an embarrassment to the brand and a complete letdown for guests who trust Marriott to provide a clean, comfortable, and quality place to stay. Simply putting the Marriott name on a building does not make it a Marriott-standard hotel. This property needs a serious overhaul, from basic cleanliness to the outdated rooms and furnishings. Guests should not have to walk into a hotel room and immediately want to leave because of its condition. I would absolutely not stay here again, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Marriott needs to take responsibility for the condition of this property and bring it up to the standards its guests expect and deserve. This is NOT the Marriott experience, and it is unacceptable that this property carries the Marriott name.

My family of 5 loves going to Steve's Cafe. The food is excellent, with large portions, and affordable. I've had several of their daily breakfast specials, and left feeling stuffed with happy taste buds. Prepare to wait if you have kids or are a group of 5+. We have waited over 45 minutes for a table. We have had a few issues with the hostess when it came to seating, and I hope with their second location some of these issues can be resolved. We once brought our out of town family with us to Steve's. The staff wanted to seat us in two separate locations in the restaurant. read more

My experience at Steve's Café this morning was very poor. There is no sign that says wait to be seated so sitting down in a seat, gives the staff the ability to be rude and condensing. When it's brought to the attention of the owner of the place you get his wrath and rudeness, which is exactly why I will no longer return to Steve's Café. Being on oxygen and a disabled person, I realize this doesn't mean much to him, but a little bit of dignity and a little bit of respect is all I asked for. read more

There was an insect in my food. When i tried to bring it to the server's attention i was given nasty attitude. I then asked to speak with the owner, this arrogant man with the temperament of a teenager came out and spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner, as well as made inappropriate and highly offensive comments in regards to my religion.
