Was excited to find a lumberyard open on weekends that wasn't Home Depot. Got there, and the people…read morewere very friendly and helpful for the basics, but I wouldn't go there to ask actual technical questions about wood or building. I did going expecting it would have a better selection of lumber at better prices than Home Depot. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They had a lot of wood suitable for construction but not for woodworking. They really had only one type of plywood with any kind of nice surface. Mostly have OSB, CDX, and only one type with a sanded finish. And that was almost $10 more per sheet than what I could get at Home Depot. No Birch or other quality plywood ether. I did purchase about 4 sheets just to check them and then went to Home Depot and got the remaining 11 sheets I needed. It was less expensive and there was significantly more choice for plywood other than OSB, CDS, etc.

Her communication was absolutely outstanding! Her friendliness is very hard to come by when it comes to retail especially with the effort she puts into for her customers! I would highly suggest coming here due to Rens service! The staff here assisted my family and I with picking out options for a remodel project. They made sure to list out options for us well within our budget, and even offered their advice on alternative options to look at. Definitely will be returning here for future needs!

Horrible customer service…read more I came into this showroom on a Saturday after a window latch broke. I brought the window and the broken latch with me, expecting some basic assistance finding a replacement part. Instead, because I didn't have an original order number and hadn't purchased the window directly through them, they refused to help. Maybe the weekday staff is more knowledgeable, but the employees working that Saturday either didn't know the Milgard products or simply couldn't be bothered to help someone who wasn't making a large purchase. It felt like the moment they realized I was only looking for a replacement part, they lost all interest in assisting me. If you're expecting customer service, product knowledge, or any willingness to help solve a simple problem, look elsewhere. There are better options out there. Update: Reached out to Roadrunner Glass in Fremont and they were able to identify my window from pictures as the Tuscany model and the Smart Touch Latch I needed. They did not even me to come in with the window and only needed a picture. So if you want good customer service its better to just wait till during the week when staff with experience and know-how can help.

We had a very good experience with Kassa Kitchen and Bath. We actually started working with another…read moresalesperson at the beginning, but she later left the company. Kelly took over our project very quickly and the handoff was really smooth, which we appreciated because we were already in the middle of making a lot of decisions. She was very patient listening to what we wanted and our kitchen layout had some special requirements, so it wasn't just a standard design. She gave us a lot of useful suggestions based on her experience, but at the same time she didn't try to push us into anything and was willing to work around our ideas. She also helped us pick a countertop that matched the cabinets very well, and even gave us advice on the cabinet handles and some of the smaller details that we honestly hadn't thought much about. You can tell she has a lot of experience and a good eye for what works together. Overall the whole process was much easier because of her and we're very happy with the experience. Would definitely recommend Kelly if you're looking for help with kitchen cabinets or design.

We used KZ for new cabinets and countertops for our kitchen renovation. We looked at a number of…read morevendors and stores at different price points, and KZ offered (by far) the best combination of quality and price. Their cabinets are all plywood construction with soft-close hardware, and their countertops are granite or quartz. The range of colors and styles and cabinet dimensions is not as extensive as other places, but we found it sufficient for our purposes, and we discovered that you can still get pretty creative to fit the options to your space. George on the showroom/design side is terrific. He was very good and patient with us as we considered different layouts and color schemes and other options. We probably stopped by a half dozen times over the course of a month before settling on a design and making our purchase. We also used KZ's installation services, though you can work with your own contractor. We're very glad that we went with KZ (Hong and his crew): their work is very professional, high quality, and fast. They also installed our appliances, replaced our hood venting with 7" ducting, and took care of the plumbing (fixture, disposal, water filter). Note that your experience will likely be much better if you are a Chinese speaker (Mandarin or Cantonese), particularly on the installation side. The service itself is no different, but you will likely have an easier time communicating preferences and resolving issues and changes that will inevitably surface as the work is being performed. The end result was even better than we expected. We were very impressed by the quality and workmanship. We would highly recommend and use KZ again.

Pros: Sales people were pretty friendly and patient with our many questions. We worked with Chloe who was great about helping us figure out what would fit with our kitchen configuration. They are happy to set you up with a visual of what your kitchen looks like with the selections, if you have plans that have dimensions. Obviously the more info you have the more clear of an idea they can give you on what your choices will look like, in context. Cons: Not the most options (i.e. for wraparound kitchen island attached to counter, they only had 8 foot option. Other store I went to had both 9 (as listed in our plans) and 8). Cabinet quality doesn't look the greatest. I never purchased here because I wasn't sold on their durability and some of the cabinet faces look chintzy. Price isn't the greatest for the value, but this is my personal opinion based on our visits and quotes with other similar price-point places in Burlingame and Bayview.

We were recommended by another company to come here and I can see why. Homer was really patient with me and spent a lot of time with my husband and I in trying to find the right flooring. On top of that, Homer answered my concerns and questions via email too. He is just wonderful! My only advice is to not ever get Mohawk tecwood, natural linen oak. It's my fault. I tried to research and I picked it. Homer tried to steer us to better quality to hold up for everyday use, but I was dead set on this. I should have listened. I will be back and listen to Homer next time. Just love this place!

He was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. He made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Unfortunately, our experience with Shawn on the windows and doors side was the complete opposite. He often came across as condescending, seemed distracted and in a rush, and follow-up was poor. Customer service and communication were disappointing, and we were left wondering why someone with that attitude is in a customer-facing role. Based on my experience, I would happily recommend Homer for flooring, but I cannot say the same for the windows and doors department.
