    TimberTech Landmark Collection: French White Oak

    I recently went to Pine Cone Lumber to rectify a situation with TimberTech. Long story short, the TimberTech's decking we had in our backyard "failed", and they replaced the materials through Pine Cone Lumber. I appreciate that TimberTech stood by their product and reimbursed the lumber by replacing our deck with a newer product. But then it came to getting the materials through Pine Cone. Tracy was the point person for my issue, and she handled everything with an aim to please. She was the person who had to deal with the ordering, delivery and ended up having to deal with TimberTech when some of the wood arrived damaged. She was on top of it, responsive to my needs, and was quick to reposed to my emails and phone calls. They do get busy there, and you may have to wait, but if you have any issues, Tracy is the person to talk to. She knows her business and is willing to go the extra mile for her customers. I would certainly go there again for my lumber needs. And I would also recommend TimberTech because they do stand by their products. Thanks Tracy!

I did going expecting it would have a better selection of lumber at better prices than Home Depot. Unfortunately, that was not the case. They had a lot of wood suitable for construction but not for woodworking. They really had only one type of plywood with any kind of nice surface. Mostly have OSB, CDX, and only one type with a sanded finish. And that was almost $10 more per sheet than what I could get at Home Depot. No Birch or other quality plywood ether. I did purchase about 4 sheets just to check them and then went to Home Depot and got the remaining 11 sheets I needed. It was less expensive and there was significantly more choice for plywood other than OSB, CDS, etc.

Her communication was absolutely outstanding! Her friendliness is very hard to come by when it comes to retail especially with the effort she puts into for her customers! She deserves the most and a promotion is the least they can do for her to show their appreciation and support for such an incredible employee that's an asset to the company!

    On May 20, 2025 my wife was invited to Stoneville USA, they had a BNI event. She went to go…read morenetwork and seen this beautiful mosaic portrait. She asked about it and was told that it was for sale for $4000.00 she actually sent me a video on that day and I thought it was beautiful. On May 2, 2025 my wife emailed Ann who works for Stoneville and asked if the piece was still for sale. Ann responded to call the office and someone would help her out. I didn't know this information as I was trying to surprise my wife so we can hang it at her new business. On 10/6/25 I called the office and spoke with Heidy and asked if the peacock mosaic portrait was for sale. She was trying to figure out which one I was talking about so I emailed her a few screenshots of the video my wife had sent me back on May 20th. Heidy informed me that she had to check with her boss so I said okay. On 10/7/25 I spoke with her and she said that she had spoken to her boss that he said yes, that they wanted $4000.00 and the price was firm, I said perfect. I was so happy and excited as this was going to be a surprise for my wife. I show up this Morning 10/8/25 at 8:00a.m. after driving one over one hour in traffic and was greeted by Ken Eveland. I told him I was there to pick up the beautiful portrait of a peacock. He said Heidy had mentioned it to him. He said it was $4000.00 and I said fine. He informed me that they would bring the portrait down and call me so I can come back today and pick it up. I asked Ken if I could pre-pay for it and he said to hold on until they remove it from the wall in case it got damaged. He said he would call me back today. Instead let me tell you what happened, Ken had Heidy call me today at 4:00p.m. to let me know that they could not sell it to me. I went from being happy and excited to being sad. First off I had to lie to my wife this morning of my whereabouts since this was a surprise. Now I'm just mad, how could a company do this to anyone. Yes , their granite, stone, quartz and porcelain slabs are beautiful. Please revise your business practices, if something is on display and not for sale then say so. I was told Ravi the owner of the store does not want to sell it. Ravi, maybe put signs on your display pieces that are not for sale. Even when I change the size last minute after I just put in order, he is so patient and nice to ask the window/door company for the change for me.     EDIT: Vanessa, I'll be happy to amend this when we actually get our refund for the door we already…read morereturned to you. Calling our contractor to complain about an honest review, after many unanswered calls/texts/emails for the refund, isn't a good look. --- Our contractor sent us here to look at doors. We did look at what they had but when I asked about custom options for things like wood color and lite options, the sales person just told us to look at options on the manufacturer websites. We spec'ed out our door from the manufacturer website of the one we liked from their showroom, ordered it in October. They installed a temporary blank door on our addition so we would have a secure entrance to our home. I think we had it by December, and our painters applied multiple beautiful clear coats to this beautiful cherry door, but when it came time to install it, it was discovered that FMD milled the hinges in the wrong place, even though they had the measurements for placement from installing the temporary door. There would have been stucco work and painting to the new construction to make the wrong hinge placement work, so they reordered the door. 6 weeks was their estimate, should have been mid April. End of May we finally received the replacement door after weeks and weeks of "next week" and "by the end of the week", and immediately noticed upon delivery (which was last minute, outside of business hours, lucky I was home to receive it!) there were problems. There were extra holes drilled on either side of the hinges, 6 total, filled in sloppily with non-matching filler, like meant to match oak or something, not the cherry door. Apparently it was for the hinge template? The first door we received did not have these holes... "Staining/painting you won't notice." except we aren't staining or painting this beautiful cherry door we paid a premium for! I probably could have lived with it if they fixed the filler to match, it's just on the side by the hinges and waiting another 3 months for yet another replacement door wasn't what I wanted to be doing, but they messed up milling the holes for the handle and lock, there were 1/2 inch chips of wood removed from the top layer finish of the door, beyond what our door handle would cover up. They had ruined a gorgeous $5300 door. Our contractor returned the 2nd door they messed up, and they happily took it, but then ghosted him as he tried repeatedly (call, text, email) to get the actual refund for the returned door...it's been weeks. Oh and they delivered one of our interior doors with a large hole in it, like they had dropped it or something, and refused to accept the return ("you accepted delivery, you probably damaged it!"). We had purchased an additional 6 premium interior doors from them and that was the customer service they treated us with? Bridge burned, our contractor got that interior door remade by a different distributor. Stay away from them. Their customer service is awful, their workmanship is terrible, they are flaky and unreliable with their timelines.
