I've been going to Dr. Myers for many years now. I had an appt for cleaning, but unfortunately, I had to cancel a few days beforehand. When I called to cancel & reschedule, the soonest they could get me in with my hygienist was a couple of months out. They offered to put me on a waitlist for her. We usually hear about these infamous waitlists that never seem to pan out, but this time it actually worked! I was able to see my hygienist the very next week! I checked in for my appointment & as always, staff was very friendly & efficient. When I got to Michelle, she was her usual kind, sweet, caring self. Michelle is so pleasant to chat with, & has such gentle hands - I love my time with her! After my cleaning, Dr. Myers came in for my full mouth assessment (I'm making up what it's called, I have no idea!). This dentist is a pro - he checks your gums, teeth, bones, color, & basically everything in your mouth to ensure oral health & well-being. He addresses any concerns or questions too. I'm very happy I was referred to Dr. Myers so many years ago, & I'll continue coming here for their excellent service. Keep in mind - call any dentist prior to scheduling to find out what your insurance covers. I have DPPO & they were able to call my insurance & tell me what my portion would be. Came to see Dr. Myers for a cleaning (I rotate between two dentists and both are amazing!). The staff here is highly professional, super friendly & this is a fun office, I can't say enough good things about ALL of them. I am a person who is very fearful of the dentist but gradually I am overcoming that fear because of the great care I have been receiving from all of the dental professionals over the past year. I came in to see Dr. Myers for X-rays, consultation and a cleaning. The appointment was quick and painless and I will be back in 6 months for the next cleaning. I've been going to Dr. Myers for over 10 years. He is calming and always explains what's going on. I have a bad grinding issue and he has worked hard to help protect the integrity of my teeth. The office staff is really nice and make it very easy to schedule or reschedule appointments. They use a reminder app that sends texts and emails so you don't miss your appointments. The hygienists and dental assistants are also super friendly and good at what they do. I have been seeing Michelle for the majority of my time here. She only works there once a week but I schedule around her availability because she is so sweet, does a great job, and really seems to care about her patients. I love how they keep notes about your personal life (or maybe they have really good memories ). Either way, when I go in they always ask for updates on the kids and job, which makes you feel cared for. The facility is nice and clean. I'm a fairly new patient of his. I've only been there twice so far, and about to go another next week for my wisdom teeth. So far, his staff has been soo wonderful. They seem to go out of their way to be nice and accommodating. Susie at the front desk always seems to recognize my voice when I call, and when I come in. It's a nice feeling, since usually dentist office employees are usually practically strangers. I love that his office is only about 10 minutes away, it's really nice. But he's awesome. I know, I know. This guy is getting way too much credit from me... But honestly, it's well deserved. Today I went in for my very first root canal. "How did it go?" You ask... I'll tell you that I actually fell asleep at least three or four times during the procedure. No pain whatsoever during the process. I'm sore now, but that's to be expected. I mean, seriously, I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. I don't like the sound of drills, so I took my iPod in and plugged the headphones in and let Doc. Myers do his thing. That helped some, too. For the first time in my life, I have a dentist I WANT to go back to for subsequent work. read more

I. Love. This. Office. Dr. Myers is a great guy, and a great dentist. He's gentle, and best of all he takes the time to talk to his patients and educate them. For example, I had never gotten the thing done where they measure the depth of the crack between the gums and the tooth, and he took the time to explain the whole thing as he was going and explain how it is a good measurement of how inflamed the gums are. (Side note: Over the course of the three years I was at this office I radically changed my diet to exclude dairy and wheat and started eating a lot more vegetables. I honestly did not do anything different as far as my oral hygiene routine goes but the change in the "crack test" (as I call it) was astonishing. I guess when the whole body is inflamed the gums get inflamed, too!) The gals who work here are great, too. Deborah always greets you with a smile, weather it be in the office or on the phone (I don't know, I can just tell she is smiling!). I loved Sandy (one of the oral hygienists) so much that I made one last cleaning appointment when I was back in town from Phoenix AND payed cash to see her because I no longer have dental insurance. Not only do I highly recommend this office, but I am completely depressed that I now live 6+ hours away and can no longer go here myself. My loss! read more

He is good at what he dose, he really cares about you how you feel, talks out what would be best for your situation. He been my dentist for ten years, I found him from a list my wife gave me of dentist we could go see, that covered our insurance. I took a day and went on a quest to find him, walking into a dentist office and chatting meeting the staff, talking insurance, and just looking for that perfect dentist, above all asking myself do I want to come back here. I've been a patient of Dr Myers for 8 years. I have never been to a better denist. He is so proffessional, yet very amiable. I felt like I knew him for years from the very first visit. He is a perfectionist and I like to call him "the painless dentist". His staff are just like him and make you feel comforatble and at ease immediately. Love love love!! I'm not the easiest patient at all, and I've always felt like a nuisance wherever I go. Dr. Myers and his staff are the first people I've gone to who have made me feel like a person that they care about not just a patient who is there to get her teeth cleaned. I'm writing this review on behalf of my girlfriend. I took her to this office a couple of days ago to get all 4 of her wisdom teeth out. Ouch! We arrived and the receptionist, Debra, was extremely nice. She offered me coffee or water since I told her I'd wait. 5 mins later she recommended that I might want to go home because it'll take 2 and a half hours to do the procedure and we only live 5 mins away. Good idea I said. 10 mins before my GF was through Debra gave me a ring to let me know ahead of time that she'd be done soon. I arrived and Debra nicely requested for me to park my car on the other side of the building closest to the dentist door so it'll be easier for me to carry my GF on drugs. Haha The dentist who looks very young and extremely nice yet very professional wanted to discuss the procedure that was performed. He also told me how to change her gauze and how many pills to take and how often. Here's the kicker: Mr. Dentist called my GF personally 2 days later to check up on her! Talk about great personal customer service. He's gonna be my dentist from now on too. read more

This was my first visit. Everyone made me feel cared for and everyone who I spoke with was extremely professional. The office is updated with the newest technology, which is nice because you can be shown your mouth and everything that is going to be done via a tv monitor. The chairs have a nice little back massager to keep you relaxed. I had a deep cleaning done. It's not fun, but it was made the best experience it could have been by the staff. The doctor seemed knowledgeable and the office was nice. I went in for an initial consultation and x-rays. I didn't have any treatment. I asked them to prepared an estimate of cost for my dental work. That never happened. I didn't have any treatment, but they sent me a bill for $66. I've been going to the dentist for 30 plus years, no dentist gas ever charged me for X-rays and an initial consultation. I think it's sneeky and unethical to charge me for things without getting my authorization first. read more

I'm really happy that I found this office. I had my first appintment last night and I couldnt be more satisfied. Dr Meyers is the most thorough dentist I've ever been to, and he spent a good 45 minutes to an hour with me checking the health of each tooth as well as my gums. I always seem to feel rushed when visiting the dentist, but he made it seem like he had all the time in the world. Very patient and very gentle. I'm happy to say that I found my new dentist. As good as it gets. I created a yelp account just to write this review. Dr. Myers is the most thorough dentist I've ever been to. During my first appointment he checked each and every tooth to check it's health, including the gums between each teeth. His office also uses a computer program where his assistants log this information. I've never seen this program before, but it's pretty awesome. It's displayed on the screen in front of you so you can view it as well. He also took pictures of the teeth he had to work on and explained what was going on with the tooth and where. I appreciate how he lets me know what he's doing and why. He also gives you an honest opinion and explains different treatment options! (i.e. the different types of fillings, crowns, etc.) I'm getting my wisdom teeth pulled next. I've delayed this for about 9 years but my previous appointments with Dr. Myers have mitigated my fears. If you're within a 30 mile radius (i'm seroius), c'mon down! read more

Confession: I have not been to the dentist for 11 years. ELEVEN YEARS. You heard me. You're judging me right now, aren't you? Well, I deserve that. But here's the thing- Dr. Myers DIDN'T judge me. I know, right? So let me tell you a little story about my root canal. I'm laying there and Dr. Myers is so in tune with everything that is going on that when I shifted my hand just barely because my fingers were falling asleep he paused the drilling to ask if I was feeling OK and if I was experiencing any pain at all. I just had my first appt. with Dr. Myers, and he was the most professional and thorough dentist I have ever been too. He spent an hour with me, checking every aspect of my mouth, including an Oral Cancer Exam. He made me feel very comfortable when I had to return for a filling. I never felt the injection or the work being done. I Highly Recommend Dr. Steven Myers. Also, his staff is exceptional. Jessica, one of his dental assistants, is very friendly and did a great job taking my xrays (usually it is very uncomfortable). Well. I can probably go on and on about Dr. Meyers (and I have been for days) but I'll try to keep this short :) In the past two months I've been in for an exam, a cleaning and two separate sets of fillings. I love everything about this place. First of all it looks amazing, the waiting room is cozy and chic and the staff is absolutely wonderful. I go in there and I feel like family, all of the assistants, technicians and receptionists are so friendly and I usually don't want to leave. My cleaning by Sandy was quick and very simple, she talked to me about my life and what was going on with my teeth. I left with a goody bag and a smile :). Dr. Meyers is the best dentist I've ever been to. No only is he so nice and very cute, he's extremely professional. My exams were very thorough, he was as gentle as possible and always explained everything completely, I always felt really informed as opposed to being treated as if I wouldn't understand. When I got my exam I always knew what was going on and if something was going to pinch Dr. Meyers would always let me know (but he kept discomfort to a minimum). I received two sets of fillings and had to be numbed for them, he really put me at ease. The first priority for Dr. Meyers is your comfort, he and his assistants always did a great job of making sure there was very little to no pain, and if you have a fear of needles or sharp tools, they are very careful that the patient never sees them. I probably could have fallen asleep. I went elsewhere to get put to sleep while I got my wisdom teeth pulled and even though I was put to sleep, my experience could have been better. I can honestly say I would have preferred to have been awake and numb while Dr. Meyers removed my wisdom teeth. When it comes to a big operation like that, it's important that a person feels comfortable and taken care of, not just like any old patient. The receptionist is lovely to chat with and is very informed and taking care of billing is so is, she knows exactly what she's talking about and gives you all of your options. I don't feel robbed or confused. In summary, this is the best dental office in the area. Look no further, Dr. Meyers is an excellent choice for anyone, especially for young children. I'm looking for excuses to go back, I don't even like leaving! read more

Wow! What a great dentist. Dr. Myers has been my dentist for over ten years. It's a long drive from Long Beach, but totally worth it. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. He and his team are so nice! The office itself is very up to date and fully equipped with all sorts of modern dental gadgets and gizmos. Recently, he re-did a crown on my front tooth. You can't even tell it's a crown ---and it didn't hurt a bit! I really can't imagine my experience there being any better. If you need a dentist---this is your place! read more

I am a new patient of Dr. Steven Myers and am very impressed with him and his staff. The front office is friendly and the office is extremely clean. Dr. Myers gave me the most thorough exam I've ever had. Heather took my x-rays and she was quick and gentle. Unfortunately (for me) I needed to have my teeth deep cleaned and scaled. I was very apprehensive and Sandy the hygienist was awesome. She knew I was nervous and went above and beyond to make me comfortable and explained what she was doing as my treatment progressed.
