I was referred to Dr. Miyamoto from a personal friend and also a dental hygienist who she went to as well. Unfortunately I had to get a few implants, fortunately it was with Dr. Miyamoto, I can honestly say from start to finish I was very comfortable with the entire process, I never even had to use any pain medication, either Dr. Miyamoto is that good or I'm that tough, lets go with both. After the surgery, later on in the evening Dr. Miyamoto always personally follows up with a phone call to ensure everything is going OK. Just got my wisdom teeth out and honestly it wasn't nearly as scary as I thought! The team was super nice, Susan and Christy cracked jokes to help me relax, and the whole thing was over in what felt like 5 minutes. First I just want to say thank you so much to Dr.Miyamoto and his amazing staff. I am so happy I found Dr.Miyamoto's office. From my first call I knew I was going to feel comfortable coming here. The front office staff Christy and Susan were super helpful with answering all my questions and concerns and were able to get me scheduled right away. When I showed up to the office I was greeted with such a warm welcome from Susan which helped ease my anxieties. Once I was taken back Carla took my X-rays and then took me into their consult room and we talked a little about why I was there. I needed my wisdom teeth extracted. While we waited for the doctor Carla showed me a video about the procedure and process of wisdom teeth extraction and it was nice to know ahead of time what to expect. Dr.Miyamoto was super nice and addressed my concerns and went over do's and don'ts for after the procedure and made sure to answer all my questions before he left. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could and should eat a burger right away after the procedure . After I met with the doctor Christy came in to go over my treatment plan and just made it super easy to voice any concerns I had and come up with a plan. They were able to get me scheduled for a day that worked for me. Day of procedure came and I definitely was nervous to be put to sleep but Ronnie, Mary and Carla were so nice, bubbly and communicated everything that was going to happen and what they were doing as they were doing it. I knew it was going to be a smooth procedure and I was going to be taken care of. Dr.Miyamoto even called me later that day to check and see how I was doing. Dr. Miyamoto is a great oral surgeon, he has extracted a few of my teeth under sedation and used my stem cells to place in the cavity of the extracted tooth. I have not had pain or swelling. Dr. Steven Miyamoto is a great oral surgeon. He explains everything about the procedure or surgery that he is going to perform before he does anything. He makes sure that you fully understand what the X-ray shows and what is needed to be done. His office staff is wonderful!!! They do everything to assist Dr. Miyamoto with the surgery that you need or if it's just an X-ray. Everyone on Dr. Miyamoto's staff is very professional in all aspects of their individual duties. His entire staff of Susan, Christy, Karla, Roni, and Mary are all well trained for whatever they are assisting either the patient or Dr. Miyamoto with. I am in the process of having oral implants and Dr. Miyamoto fully explains what he needs to do before he does it. Having General Anesthesia also helps me to relax and not worry about feeling any pain. Roni and each member of the surgery team really know their "role" and what they need to do to assist Dr Miyamoto or the patient. Plus, they are all really nice and they want to help the patient or if the patient is a minor, the patient's parent or guardian. And, add to all of that, they are DODGER fans!!!!
