A quality of care complaint has been filed against them. And next will be to the fraud department. *Also only open 2 days a week. How they are still in practice, I have no idea. Dr. Lee & his staff were simply amazing from start to finish! My front tooth needed a new implant with a lot of work as far as adding bone to ensure my single tooth implant wouldn't fail! The practice was sold quietly to a new Dr. It's now 2023 and this new Dr. just hit my credit for a $500 bill dated back to 2015, lol. If anyone knew Hercules he was an amazing person but literally trapped you and forced payment in full before even finishing the work. I really recommend the dental office 'Real Dentistry'. It was my first time to visit the dental office in the U.S. And I felt comfortable for the treatment and they were so kind and nice to me. At first I chose this dentist office because it's close to my home, and in a very nice building, and they accepted my insurance. After I arrived the inside was so clean and modern and the receptionist was very friendly. They started my X Rays immediately and the technology was very impressive. They had an X Ray machine that circled you and took a panoramic view of your teeth. The place was very high tech, new, and modern. The X Ray tech was very pleasant as was the doctor when she came in and checked for cavities, and bone loss. I had 2 cavities which I was expecting because it had been 18 months since my last cleaning because of Covid 19. I was assured they do not use amalgam like my last dentist used. I go back in 2 weeks to fill the cavities and then a deep cleaning. I chose this dentist not knowing what to expect but I feel like I hit the jackpot by coming here. I would highly recommend this dentist office to everyone. They were all so nice. read more

This place is a scam. I literally went there to get a specific tooth fixed. The dentist told me nothing was wrong with the tooth. Yet, till this day, I have a gap in this tooth that traps food everyday. But..... he found 4 other cavities to work on. Oh, plus I needed a night guard because I grind my teeth. The nurse tried three times to get an imprint. I guess she failed, because I woke up every morning with my mouth guard sitting somewhere on my bed. $300 (insurance doesn't cover) Plus, when I got my fillings, I had to go back twice, the same day to tell the dentist, ummm.. I feel a sharp edge. He told me, no you don't. But my tongue was telling me, yes you do. To top it off. Today they called me to tell me that my appointment tomorrow is canceled, because they no longer accept HMO insurance. Well, too bad. I already found a different dentist. read more

Been coming to Dr. Real's office for years; even before they were here at this location. The staff here are always so friendly and hospitable. In the waiting room, they have a TV where they can put up any show that is on Netflix (I believe). The office also has refreshments, such as water bottles, some tea, or K-cups with a Keurig machine. This makes waiting at this room a lot better and more comfortable. The dental staff is really attentive and they try to make conversations with you as well. I don't believe Dr. Real overbooks, meaning he can give you the attention that you require. He goes through the process of checking if your gums are healthy, getting x-rays done, and cleaning (if this is a normal check-up). Overall, I would definitely recommend this dentist to others! read more

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Real and his staff for about 5 years and we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. Dr. Real is an amazingly knowledgeable dentist and always keeps up on the latest techniques. It's good to know our dentist attends weekend seminars and strives to keep current in his profession. Unlike a lot of medical professionals we've experienced, Dr. Real honestly cares about his patients' well-being. The staff are always friendly and I rely on their reminder texts about our appointments. My 15-year-old daughter just recently got Invisalign braces with Real Dentistry and I made my 4-year-old's first appointment. Patients beware! The front office is rude and unprofessional. I was hung up on and told that they did not want me there by Gladys. I had been a patient of Dr. Real for 14+ years. I had the office reach out in late September/early October to schedule an appointment since I hadn't been in since early 2019. This call was pleasant but at this time they should have told me about Dr. Real no longer being with the practice. This caused a bad taste in my mouth because of what transpired. My appointment was scheduled for 11/11 which was Veterans Day. I never received a call the Friday before confirming my appointment or an email, which is normal practice for this office. So I was questioning myself that I had written the date wrong in my calendar and that the office was probably closed for the holiday. I called first thing on 11/11 and made several calls hoping someone would pick up to confirm my appointment. No one did AND the voicemail box was full and DID NOT state the office hours so I couldn't leave a message. On Tuesday 11/12 I received a call at 3:06pm from Gladys saying the office had received several calls from me the day prior and wanted to check in. I told her the situation, figured they were closed for the holiday --- to which I was told no we were open and I had my appointment right. So then I was irritated because no one had called me yesterday to ask about me being a no show and she tried to blame it on being short staffed up front, or even a call the prior week confirming my appointment. I then told Gladys I didn't call just once, but several times, and that the voicemail box was full so I couldn't even leave a message. I did not yell, I was vocal in my concerns and expressed my dissatisfaction. She then asked if I would like to reschedule. I politely said no, not at this time. I said this because I'm about to be on the road for a month for business travel and would call later. After I said that Gladys replied "Good, we don't want you here" and hung up on me. That is not how you treat patients. I immediately called back to ask for Dr. Real to which at that point she told me, and she obviously knew it was me calling back, "Dr. Real no longer works here. He sold the practice over a year ago". To which I told her, that's a lie as I was just in their earlier this year. I asked who was the dentist no on staff and she replied Dr. Lee. I will not be returning and they have lost a long time patient. This is rude and unprofessional behavior of any office. read more

So.. I hate having to write this review but I definitely won't be back here... I came in to have a potential root canal examined on a tooth after just having one done a few weeks before and they told me a couple things. 1) it definitely was in bad shape but much worse than I thought and I needed to see an Oral surgeon before they would help me. They told me basically my whole mouth appeared infected. It was horrible. I was so scared and upset that I cried in the office as I've already been through so much over the past few months, having maxed my insurance and paid $1000's out of pocket at only 20 y.o. just to stop the suffering the first time.. 2) they told me the crown I JUST had done on the first tooth was cracked and I needed to pull it: another $5k procedure between the extractions and putting in a fake. Well, after I spent another $120 out of pocket just to have a chat with my oral surgeon about what they said, he laughed and said This guy was nuts... he found my sinuses (and they were not infected). That's the big "infection," he thought he saw and suggested pulling multiple teeth to solve. Moreover, my 3 separate opinions on the crown said it was not cracked at all and pulling it would be the dumbest decision I could ever make. I did end up needing another root canal which was absolutely devastating but despite the $350 I would have saved to have it done here, I simply could not make that choice. I will not be returning to this dentist and honestly I can't make any positive recommendations to my friends or family because between the office visit here and the cost of the oral surgeon I lost an additional $145 pursuing a majorly stressful goose chase and of course to add in the embarrassing event of crying publicly at their office over these non-existent diagnosese I feel pretty negatively about this place and I do not trust the advice given here. read more
