I recently visited Smile With Style Orthodontics for a cleaning, X-rays, and an exam because I was experiencing significant tooth pain. From the moment we walked in, the entire team made my partner and me feel welcome and comfortable. Janice got us signed in and was incredibly kind and helpful, and she also assisted my partner with her X-rays. Myra took my X-rays and made the process smooth and easy. My hygienist Brandi was wonderful. She made me feel extremely safe and comfortable during my cleaning and was very attentive while I was explaining the pain I had been experiencing. She also helped make sure I was able to get scheduled quickly for the care I needed. During the exam, they determined I needed a root canal and immediately referred me to Friendly Hills Endodontics so I could be treated right away. The referral process was seamless, and the root canal procedure was not only timely but completely painless during the procedure. Most importantly, the pain I had been dealing with is now completely gone. When we checked out, Amy was incredibly helpful and supportive, offering great advice and making sure we understood everything moving forward. Debbie, who helped schedule my initial appointment, was also wonderful and made the whole process easy from the beginning. I'm so grateful to Brandi, Amy, Debbie, Janice, and Myra for their kindness, professionalism, and the way they made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. I'm so unhappy to be leaving this review... I love Dr. Larson. I think he's amazing. Very talented, very kind, always makes you feel very welcome. Great if you have dental anxiety, unfortunately he's currently out and there is a different dentist filling in. I came in to have some work done 3 different procedures.. I experienced a lot of pain during my last procedure, and I felt like the staff was annoyed by kind of how they were speaking with me almost as if they were saying well you know this is kind of your fault since you don't want to use a certain numbing.. I had two different people ask me why I can't use that and explain it was for medical reasons so that was just very uncomfortable because I had already explained before and it's in my chart that I can't use a certain type of for medical reasons.. so be questioned by two different staff members while I'm already in excruciating pain and actually in tears in a chair was so uncomfortable. I actually had to take a break during that appointment because I was sobbing not only from the pain but just from the treatment I was getting. I had also gotten a filling done and I'm still having issues on that filling to the point that I have to actually baby that tooth because the feeling is just not quite right. And there was another issue that I had with getting appointment because my schedule and the doctor being out for a crown issue I was having. Unfortunately, has been quite a bumpy road with them, which is never the experience that I had in the past they were always so kind so attentive like very calming very relaxing so for it to turn so quickly was just unexpected and such a bummer because I do have dental anxiety and they've always done such a good job in the past about making me feel comfortable. But after these past couple experiences, I truly don't know that I'll return to their office. read more

Not just for adults, they do kids too!! Just brought my twin 4 year olds in for their sixth month check up and they absolutely couldn't WAIT to see Dr Larson, Gigi and Branda again. They had such an awesome first experience that they couldn't wait to come back for their 6 month check up. There is a fantastic kids play area in the lobby that my 4 year old remembered from last time and couldn't wait to play in the play house again. My girls are SO comfortable in this office. It's like visiting grandmas house. Just instead of milk and cookies they get clean teeth, a super cool new toothbrush, a goodie bag, AND a fun toy of choice. I had to pull out all of my mom negotiation skills to get them to leave. They love this place! I've said it before and I'll say it again...my dentist is better than yours! read more

I've been coming here since I was a teenager. My parents go here, and now my husband and daughters go here as well. I've referred friends and coworkers and always heard great things back from them after visiting. My daughters absolutely love going to the dentist because this place is so delightful. My girls will actually beg to come with me during my appointments because they always have such great times here. I'm not exaggerating when I say that my kids pester me by asking me "how long until we GET to go to the dentist?" The staff is incredible with kids, and I always feel pampered when I go. The softest chairs, hand warmers, blankets, tv's on the ceiling, it's a miracle this tired mama hasn't fallen asleep while being worked on! Extra super bonus points: They have a two story playhouse, arcade games, coffee table games, and a huge underwater ocean scene that my kids love. read more

I don't particularly look forward to going to the dentist, but Smile With Style makes the experience as painless as possible. They have refreshments while you wait, as well as additional amenities provided to you while you're in the chair, like picking a movie to watch or a blanket to keep you warm while you're getting work done. They equip you with a clicker so you can signal when you need to stop and take a break or communicate your concerns. Whenever I've had work done by previous dentists, I've always assumed that there was always going to be some level of pain felt when having a cavity filled or something more serious done. Apparently, this is not the case. Dr. Hedrick noticed my discomfort immediately and stopped to assess my pain level. He numbed me some more and encouraged me to utilize the clicker if I continued to feel pain. This kind of attentiveness has definitely lessened my appointment anxiety. I have been seeing Branda as my hygienist ever since I started going there and she is gentle and always delivers quality service. My family has been going to smile with style for around 20 years now and I have never once had a negative experience, the staff are always very welcoming and kind and the hygenists are skilled at what they do/ really seem to care about their patients well-being. They really make sure you are calm and comfortable in their office and provide a 5-star experience with good hospitality, a cozy waiting room with snacks and drinks, a dental goody-bag after each appointment, and even the option for entertainment and hand lotion treatments during every check-up! Dr Larson and his entire staff are the most knowledgeable and skillful unit you can ask for. Experience and a sense of family unit is what you can feel the moment you step into the office. I have been to many Dental offices in the past. But the methods and approach provided have been amazing. For example, numbing of the gums using long needles has been a painful stressful process. Dr. Larson utilizes an approach called Dental Vibe with the assist of unit called Vibra Jet. From a scale of pain of 0-5. I rate this as negative 5 as pain does not exist and the numbing process feels accelerated and seamless. It feels like having an electric toothbrush against your cheek and gum. I was referred to Dr. Hedrick because I had a filling that fell out and needed to be fixed . I called and was scheduled for an appointment a few days later. Upon entering the office, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff. Even though I was early, I was promptly taken in to be seen by Dr. Hedrick. Dr. Hedrick and his assistants are very skilled and they worked so well together. They were friendly and constantly checked to see if I was feeling ok during their work. Everyone going to the dentist will probably be a little nervous, but the comfy dentist chair and nice music made me feel pretty comfortable the whole time and the two hours it took for my procedure passed by pretty quickly. This is a very well run dental practice. They'll send you reminders by text and email so you wont forget your appointment. Staff is also nice and friendly and the office and equipment is nice and clean. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good dentist. read more

Today was my last teeth cleaning for 2016. A few cool things happened while I was here. - I was sitting in the chair, about to get started, the warm hand lotion contraption was just given to me and I saw a squirrel! So the chair I was in faces Harbor Blvd. but it didn't occur to me until today that the tree and other foliage right outside the window block the street. I felt like I was watching a nature scene on a really big high definition flat screen! The squirrel climbed up this palm tree and about two minutes later it climbed down. Seriously, I forget I'm at a dentist office every time I go there. - My hygienist visit was awesome and she introduced me to Dr. Axe and I was discussing my stiff neck issues and she told me about a great chiropractor everyone uses so I got that info. for next time. - The warm hand lotion makes my hands look and feel amazing! I've been going to Smile with Style for several years. I started out as a cash payment patient as I didn't have dental insurance at the time and I was in need of a deep cleaning, x-rays, and an assessment for wisdom teeth removal. The staff offered me dental care that was within my financial means and included options of paying up front vs a payment plan. As soon as I enrolled in dental insurance, I requested Dr. Larson as my dental care provider. Dr. Larson and his team give me undivided attention and ensure I am comfortable during my visits. They have TVs mounted on the ceilings for viewing during treatments and some amenities include blankets and under-the-knee pillows for comfort. I rarely experience any extended delays in wait times for my appointments. The longest I've waited has been about 15 minutes and the staff made sure to inform me as soon as I checked in that there would be a delay. If I have any questions or concerns, they address them right away and if they do not have the answer immediately, they are prompt to get back to me. They provide the option of selecting a specific hygienist to complete cleanings, if desired; however, I do not have a preference as they are all great and gentle with my teeth. They do get pretty busy, with some appointments being available about a month out if you call-in. I'm very thankful for Smile with Style's service and highly recommend! read more
