Hubby had a toothache, and we didn't have a dentist. After researching, I decided on Dr. Lewis. Shortly after he pulled Hubby's tooth, I had a toothache and needed root canal. He showed me a booklet explaining root canal, went over every page with me, and did the work the following morning. He is compassionate, explains procedures thoroughly, keeps himself educated on new techniques, and is a perfectionist in his work. He utilizes computer-administered local anesthesia and does laser dentistry. His hygienist is tops, and the office staff is friendly and helpful. Has anyone ever broken their molar while eating food and then accidentally swallowed their tooth? That's what happened to me I have never had this happen. But I was eating dinner and it broke and so I had to make an appointment with my dentist. They are absolutely wonderful here, everyone here is so sweet and caring. They truly care about their patients and their teeth. I had to get a root canal done on my broken molar. I have had my share of dental trauma while pregnant for 7 months straight, so it's scary for me to go to the dentist now but you gotta do what you gotta do. I had a panic attack cause I was so nervous. They tried to give me laughing gas but it made me even more anxious so just did it without, ended up getting through a 3 1/2 procedure. They turned on a movie for me and gave me a blanket and even a massage chair with heat. They are wonderful at making you feel comfortable and cared for! I highly recommend this dentist office for dental work. My friend actually referred me here and I am so grateful he did. Thank you guys for everything for working with me and helping me calm down during this visit. So sorry I was so nervous but it's been a journey for me all around. I appreciate you guys. I've been seeing Dr. Lewis for several years. He's a distance away from me, but definitely worth the drive. I tried a dentist close to me. Comparing the two, including the 45-60 minute round trip to Dr. Lewis, I was gone a shorter amount of time seeing Dr. Lewis. He does superior work at a better price. I also have severe back issues, so when I have a long procedure (root canal) I was allow to get up, stretch and move to ease my discomfort. The staff is a real blessing. Friendly, likable. I love Dr. Lewis and his staff. They were very professional and gave me the best dental care ever. They removed stains from teeth that my previous hygienist and dentist overlooked and they made me a very special night guard that also worked as a retainer. My old nightguard did not retain the shape of my teeth so Dr. Lewis made a very inventive nightguard that also works as a retainer. It was genius! I've visited over a dozen dental offices...So when I tell you that Dr Lewis is so very patient, professional, and has his patient's interest at heart-- BELIEVE ME! Last week I visited Dr Lewis' office for a root canal consultation. He could have done the procedure. But because he has his patient's interest as #1 -- he told me about a new root canal procedure called "GentleWave.com"... This review is long overdue! I first met Dr. Lewis as a young 20 yr old that needed all 4 wisdom teeth removed! I went to Dr. Lewis as it was a bit more affordable than seeing an oral surgeon. Dr. Lewis is great at what he does! I had little to no discomfort and since my case was rather simple, nothing but a local anesthetic was needed! Fast forward years later.. there is no one on this planet that I trust more with my gums than Dr. Lewis & Sarah! She keeps my gum health in check along with Dr. Lewis. The office staff is great! Sherry is very kind, and Deborah is amazing! The team works really well together and have nothing but your best interest in mind. My kids now come and see them and both have had their teeth cleaned by Sarah, and my eldest will be the next one to have his wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Lewis. Update 2017- I'm coming back in to get a tooth replaced and my wife is finally getting her teeth cleaned after having our baby, and my wife said a fun thing " I love that Dr. Lewis has surrounded himself with a bunch of smart ladies, it's like they always keep him on track and make it so comfortable to be here." I hated this place writing this review is already making my blood boil... Among other things the thing that made me mad the most is that since I have not been to the dentist in 4 years they said that I absolutely NEEDED to get a deep clean. So knowing that I have really good insurance and never having to pay more than a co payment of $20. I did it. When they were done i was going to write a check for $20 and they said that I owed $756.89 for the deep cleaning. The insurance wouldn't cover it. It would have been nice to have given me a heads up. I went to my insurance company they said they wont cover it because I didn't need it at all. Just giving a heads up to anyone that wants to go here. read more

Stay Away if you have a PPO. They told me multiple times on the phone and when I showed up for my visit that they accepted my PPO insurance. I had billing issues with my previous dentist so this time I thought I had covered everything with them. I even heard the receptionist speaking with my insurance company while I sat in the waiting room. She said no problem everything would be covered by my insurance. I even made sure to say that I only wanted services that my insurance covered. Of course they wanted to do the X-rays, exam, etc when all I wanted was a cleaning. The visit took over 2 hours, longest dental visit EVER for a cleaning and exam. A month later I get a bill for over $200. After multiple calls to the dental office and then to my insurance I find out what happened, I confirmed they accepted my insurance but my insurance didn't pay enough to cover "their" dental fees. They even told me other dentists probably charge less because they don't provide the level of service their office provides. See, dentists can charge whatever they want for services. They hide the details about their fees vs. insurance coverage until AFTER your visit so you have no choice but to pay or be sent to collections. In the end I payed $200 on top of what they charged my insurance . Beware! read more

I've had a tooth extraction done here (last month), multiple cavities dealt with (last year), and a tooth repaired a year prior, that I was sure I was going to lose entirely. The reason I needed so much work: I'm one of those people who does not handle dentist office visits well at all, and hadn't gone to any dentist for too many years. I have good news for anyone who is really, really bothered by dental work: they got me through it amazingly well, far better than I ever imagined was possible, my anxiety of dental work is 95% gone now. They do sedation dentistry, I was sort of awake but wasn't bothered by the dental work at all, you take a sedative or something orally beforehand. And truly could not care less about what's going on during the procedure. At least in my case. On another tooth I needed some really specialised work and Dr Lewis sent me to a different dentist for that. The other guy was clearly a good dentist technically, and a really nice guy but I literally blacked out in the chair over there during the procedure. After that I won't go anywhere else than Dr Lewis office. Everyone was incredibly patient with me, though I was stressed out just like a cat at the vet the first time. They did have to do a deep cleaning, Nora did it and was really patient with me. Now that it's done it's all over, and it's just light maintenance cleaning. I have pretty good insurance, and what I did was get the major work 'spread out' over 3 years such that my insurance coverage didn't run out each year. Maybe not the best idea healthwise but it saved a lot of money and it worked out in my case. Most of all I'm really glad my wife talked me into going here a few years ago because otherwise I'd be facing some very serious oral surgery by now. read more
