The dentist only discussed those findings after I had signed. I became extremely distressed and was crying, and explained that I was considering a different treatment approach, including extraction and dentures, and why I felt that was more appropriate for me. I was told to discuss this with my husband, and the cleaning proceeded. I felt too overwhelmed in that moment to get up and leave after I had already signed for the treatment. I do not feel I was given enough information at the time I signed to make an informed decision, and the information provided afterward significantly changed my treatment preference. I left feeling that I had not been given a meaningful opportunity to make my own decision about whether to proceed. When I complained, the office told me that it is their standard procedure to have patients sign for treatment before the dentist discusses their dental findings with them.

She was only there for the day and I decided to drive all the way to the other location just so I could have her as my doctor. She talked with her hygienist about their price life. I found it very odd. Dr. Arias also recommended I get Invisalign. Soon, I realized she seems to be recommending Invisalign to many clients. When I talked to friends who happen to have a her also as their dentist, it's ironic how they also were told they needed aInvisalign. Since we are in our 30s & 40s, insurance won't cover this. She actually said the same thing to all of us, "your bite isn't aligned. Invisalign will help fix those problem." Perhaps the clinic didn't have a lot of clients in midst of the pandemic and now they are recommending Invisalign to several clients. $6000 I was told for this. She is the only Dentist who has EVER told me I needed braces or any sort of treatment to straighten my teeth. Prior dentists have ALWAYS asked me if I had braces as a child. (I didn't) i've been told my teeth are very straight and very tight and I have a great smile. Unfortunately, I found a dentist who thinks otherwise. But she's alone- because I've seen five other dentists in five other states. Seems they are less about the client's need and more about collecting your money. Also, I found it odd that I couldn't get my dental cleaning and exam done in the same session. (???) Then, they schedule a third appt. for a filling. My point being, I've been there three times in the last six months. So I have a pretty good observation about what this clinic is about. It's unfortunate.

I had to have my wisdom teeth removed recently, and I was completely terrified to do it. I had put…read moreit off because I didn't have dental, so when I got it in the start of January I had no excuses left to make. I Yelped wisdom teeth and this was the first place that popped up, so I gave them a call and got my appointment set up with them. I met with Dr. Klemmedson, who was very no-nonsense, but definitely tried to make me feel more at ease. He took a look in my mouth and said I had something called Perry Coronitis, which is when the gums don't stick to the wisdom teeth so all kinds of nasty stuff can get in there. It may have explained why I had tonsilitis twice this year and never had it before a day in my life. He showed me my x-ray, which was fascinating, and tried to show me where the injections would go based on where my cavities had been. I told him I never had anesthesia for cavities because I can't stand needles. He offered to put me under instead. On the day of the surgery, I was really scared. I had never had surgery of any kind, and the only thing that I could calm myself down with was to keep saying, "He does this all the time. I trust doctors. Many people in my family are medical professionals. This will be fine." The staff there did everything they could to make me feel at ease also. They tried to give me the medicine to put me under, but I was so scared that my blood pressure kept spiking. Finally I went under and, like no time had passed, I was awake and telling the tech that was putting vasaline on my face that she was "delightful". (I got to wake up to a woman with pink scrubs and a huge smile.) I was discharged with my boyfriend, who they followed up with to make sure I was ok. I went in for follow up, and Dr. Klemmedson told me that apparently I talked the entire time. I guess I could not shut up, and kept asking "are we done? Are we done?" He put gauze with clove oil into the cavities to help with my dry sockets and took them out the next day. I absolutely recommend him to anyone in need of oral surgery. Had he joked around with me and then told me I would be fine, it would make me way more nervous. He was kind, informative, helpful, professional. The staff was friendly and put my nerves to rest. I will absolutely be back for anything else I may ever need.

I confirmed and showed for my appointment. I was seated by the hygienist, when the doctor stepped into the room and said he wanted to speak with me. .. He asked me "Why are you here?" I politely answered his question. To complete my cleaning, and because your office owes me money. ( This immediately set him off.) He immediately argued the point, about owning me money. The next thing I know he is acting like a 10 year old and making uncalled for comments. I actually had to ask if he had ever looked at my medical history. By the look on his face, I knew he never had. (I.E. medical history and dental history are very closely intertwined) He proceeded to try to argue facts with me re: my account. I let him know he was uninformed of what was going on. ( unbeknownst to him, I had in my hands the insurance paperwork and treatment, and bank statements to review with billing personnel after appointment) He then proceeded to tell me several times that "I wasn't welcome there." Unceremoniously dismissed. LOL. I've been kicked out of better establishments. He was incredibly rude, and unprofessional. As a dentist who is injecting people with medications, it is very important to know your patients medical history and not be throwing juvenile insults them. For a dental provider you certainly are not aware of the impact or importance of the opinion you leave on the community and your patients. Which is really too bad, because as a ROOKIE you should be.

The office has a nice and calm ambiance, the X-ray and examination was a breeze. They explained everything that would be needed and when meeting with billing, the explanation of cost was reasonable and understandable. I'm thankful they give you a certain amount of time to pay and a link to even do so. After my consultation, paying my portion, i have my first deep cleaning tomorrow and then another appt is set for the 2nd portion. The cavities will be taken care of on the 3rd visit so it'll be a journey but I'm thankful I have this dentist to take care of my teeth. Looking forward to getting and keeping my teeth healthy.
