I moved here in 2015 from San Diego. I chose Dedicated dental service and I met Doctor.Manuel Bedoya the dentist, and the owner of Dedicated dental. He's always been very professional and great humor, and if there is a mistake, made by staff, he honored the mistake. I had a crown broke that he put in and he fixed it every time and made it correct services impeccable by him. I have been a patient of Dedicated Dental for many years, I had a tooth that was causing pain. I called Dedicated Dental for an appointment; they got me in that day. The diagnosis was that the tooth should be pulled, the charge would be $360.00. It being a Friday, and I had a busy weekend coming up I agreed to the $360.00 charge to extract one tooth. During check out I presented my credit card and was told there would be an additional charge of $15.00 if I used my credit card, and was told if I didn't want to pay the extra credit card charge, I could pay with cash or check which I didn't come prepared to do. Since I was not aware of the additional credit card charge it was removed for this one-time payment. SO, if you go to Dedicated Dental, bring lots of cash or a check. read more

To begin the front desk ladies are always kind and courteous. The environment in the waiting room is nice with a fish tank, several seating options and a television. Dr. Bedoya always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm satisfied with my service. I've had many horror stories throughout the years with other local dentists but this place has me for life. I just had my first root canal by Dr. Rosales. After all the horror stories I've heard I was expecting the worst. Instead, I got NO Pain and in and out in less than an hour. He was great. I go back for the crown on the 1st and a couple more procedures without fear!!! They have even fitted my treatment into my "Snowbird" schedule. I highly recommend them. read more

I had dental surgery that was quite intense. Came out with blood all over my face. Afterwards no one tells me anything about my stitches being Non dissolvable. So here I am 3 weeks later after traumatic surgery in my mouth and come to find out my stitches are grown into my roof of my mouth. WTH??? Chop shop is more like it! Now I have to get my mouth cut open then stitched again most likely. WHY?? No one told me a thing. I am 54 been through dental surgery and always had dissolvable stitches. BEWARE. If I could rate zero stars, I would. My family has been seeing Dr Bedoya for years and he is a wonderful dentist if you're lucky enough to see him. Otherwise, the problem begins and ends with the rest of his staff. After waiting four months for cleanings and being denied an appointment for my husband's cracked tooth, we were informed they wouldn't even look at his tooth without first doing a $500 "deep cleaning". In the past, he had been to several appointments and wasted endless amounts of money on them and still had problems. They gave us no options, were unwilling to work with us and became extremely confrontational. Not once did I feel like they cared about anything but gauging us for cash. When we got upset the supervisor stepped in and instead of de-escalating the situation she intensified it. I have never been so offended or belittled by a business that is supposed to provide care. read more

Would not recommend. I went to dr bedoya for a cleaning and had a tooth that was hurting so when the hygienist called dr bedoya in to take a look he said that the tooth that was painful was long gone and basically cannot be saved. Then I went in for another scheduled cleaning few weeks later and at that told hygienist about what plans they had for the painful tooth. She then proceeded to ask dr bedoya and he came in and this time telling me that the same tooth he said just a few weeks ago could not be saved now saying he can do a cap and that should take care of the pain. Went in for the cap and as he's drilling he hit the nerve and was very painful and proceeded to finish up and put a temp cap as they make the permanent cap. Had pain and called in they said that's normal without asking the exact symptoms. Then had the appointment to check why I was in pain the proceeded to say I needed a root canal. Why didn't he do root canal prior to the cap now they had to pry off the temp cap and do a root canal costing me money for each of these visits. Seems to me the office keeps trying to get more money from you every time you visit there's a different procedure he suggest and nothing works and he keeps billing you for all the mistakes he's making. So after the root canal, They put a temporary cap and then was scheduled an appointment to put the permanent one and be done. So by the time the appointment came around I had to call and cancel for family reasons and they were very mad and charged me $40 and never rescheduled me for another appointment but they were really making sure that the $40 got paid more important then to give me a appointment to get my permanent cap. I'm still today walking around with a temporary cap and nothing scheduled. I am 80 years old and this office is taking advantage me and leaving me with pain in my tooth and taking my money. read more

End of story. No maybe, I think you should no. So I get a second opinion and as it turns out I can get one fixed with just a simply filling. WTF! Look at his office. He is not short on money. Dr. Bedoya is a saint! I was in Tucson on business. As soon as I got there I started getting a toothache. I tried roughing it out till I got home to my dentist, but by day 4 I could not handle the pain! I did the hardheaded thing and went and bought a pair of vice grips and a bottle of ibuprofen(yes I did)! Well the tooth pulling was a complete failure so I panicked! Out of all the dentist I called, Dr. Bedoya is the only one who returned my call! He saw me at midnight and pulled my tooth. He was extremely cool, informative, and patient! Didn't even seem like he was seeing me at 12am! The coolest thing was, I felt like he had been my dentist since I was a kid, very cool experience!!! I would highly recommend him to anybody who has an emergency situation! He didn't seem bothered that it was a late call or rushed and overall it was an awesome experience even though it involved pain and a tooth extraction! read more

I needed a root canal. Dr. Bedoya got me in very quickly and scheduled the procedure. I shopped around and had the wrong tooth diagnosed by two different dentists in Tucson. Dr. Bedoya was very professional and thorough. Dr Bedoya diagnosed the proper tooth. The root canal was as pleasant experience of an experience as a root canal can be. No pain during the procedure. My husband has been a client for over 6 years, he was running late to his appointment because of a family emergency and they told him he could cancel and reschedule but he would have to pay the $40 cancellation fee. He paid the $40 fee and let them know he would not be returning. They were more worried about collecting the late fee then a returning customer continuing to give them his business especially being that he will be needing extensive dental work in the next couple months. I took two of my kids here for routine check ups and everything went "ok". They were kind of pushy, not extremely nice but not rude either. My impression was that they were very money driven and cared more about the kind of insurance you have (which i have amazing insurance) than the patient. Fast forward to this morning, my husband called because he had an abscessed tooth and wanted to see about making an appointment. They told him they didn't know if they took his insurance. He informed them that they do since they are our kids dentist and it is the same insurance and he had all of the insurance information. They told him that he needed more information. He called back and they were extremely rude and told him that they don't see his name in the system. He explained again that he is new and they continued to be rude and ask him the same questions over and over again. Finally, they told him "okay...we'll see you Monday!". He told her that it is kind of an emergency and was hoping to be seen today if possible and they hung up on him. I called back to find out the name of the person and they were equally rude and condescending and refused to give me the name. The person i spoke with said her name was Mari when she answered but denied being the person who hung up on him. Another woman got on the phone and told me that none of that ever happened (basically calling me a liar) and that no one hung up on him. Her voice is the one he was speaking with originally but she refused to give me her name. I am not sensitive and don't expect people to be over the top friendly (although it wouldn't be a bad thing) but this treatment and behavior is absolutely unacceptable. If this were my company, which is small as it is and they don't have many clients, i would terminate her employment as she clearly hates her job as has NO customer service or people skills. We found another dentist and will never go back there again and we are a family of 6. I hope this review helps others because no one should be treated like this on their best day...let alone when they are in pain and have already had to call out from work.
