Wow!!! I can't say enough GOOD things about this service!!…read more I had a really bad situation where other movers I had hired got into a fistfight inside my moving trailer and had to be removed from my property! I was left with a job that was only a quarter done and I had to be out of my house that day for a closing! I was desperate! I called around and, as expected, no moving company could help me out and such short notice! I finally called Daymakers and Lisa, who answered the phone, was so sympathetic to my situation; she said she would try to figure it out for me. After about 20 minutes, Lisa called me back and said that 2 of her movers were finishing another job and were supposed to be done for the day but they agreed to come out and help me out of my situation! Unbelieveable! I was so elated and relieved! Two super nice young guys, named Jacob & Shane, showed up in a beautiful, very professional Daymakers moving truck. They were so helpful and courteous! They did everything I needed done so quickly and efficiently! They took the time to wrap all my furniture and were so careful. They could move and do anything...like superheroes!! And they were...They made my day. I guess that's why the call themselves "Daymakers." Lisa called me back the next day to make certain all went well and that I was happy. They really care. I don't usually leave reviews, but I feel this one is necessary…read more I would highly advise against using this company. They are unprofessional and careless when doing so. So I bought a groupon for this company with intentions of having some junk removed from my garage. I called the company and set up an appointment for a week out. I was told by a guy named John who claimed to be the manager that they would be at my home on a Saturday morning at 11am. That Saturday came and they never showed. I waited around for them and never even received a phone call. So I called them and John told me they were busy and would come the next day at 11 am. Sunday came and went and I never heard from the company. I called and left messages but I never heard back. I called groupon and advised them of the no call no show from the company and asked to have my money returned. Instead of putting my money back into my back account Groupon gave me "Groupon Bucks." On the following Monday I called the company and spoke with John and told him how disappointed I was. He said, " I'm sorry we get busy sometimes. Some jobs are bigger then others." I told him I understood that, but they could have called instead of standing me up for two days. I told John that I would leave a negative review of his company and he said whatever.

I don't rent very often and when I do it is usually a truck for moving. I was in between…read moreapartments and had to rent a truck twice, once to move from apartment to storage and another time to move from storage to apartment...You get the idea. My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price.
