Stumbled across this place while walking around the area. The paintings outside were fun and I appreciated the covered seating and yard games. Inside smelt burnt because of the food special they were doing and I would say that was pretty repulsive. We did a cider tasting. While I enjoyed trying different ciders, I'm not sure there was one I really loved. To be fair I'm not a huge cider person. Each cider I tried had something I loved and disliked about it. I commented I might not remember every flavor I wanted when I went to order and they pointed out that they have little cards to write down what flavors I want so that was helpful. If I had more time I definitely would have tried more ciders. They had a very wide selection of ciders (obviously, since it's a cidery) so almost anyone could find something they would want to try. Love, love, loved our trek to Stem Ciders. Parents were in town and this was an easy decision, because who can't get down with some yummy cider?! You guessed it, no one. Stem has ciders literally for anyone. We tried them all. Three flights. There may have been two I would've gifted to someone else, but If push came to shove, I also wouldn't have left those said ciders on the table either. So, there's that. I loved the fruity ciders as well as the sours. Surprisingly, I also like those with subtle hints you had to pay attention to, like the ginger. Even the cucumber cider was shockingly like eating a legit cucumber, lol. Suffice it to say, we had a great time with the flights and then ordered a few of our favorite picks. Check in and seating were a smooth, well oiled process and finding the table signage that shared "this table has been sanitized and is ready for you" was also a nice touch. This is a beautiful venue with delicious ciders and great food. I came here for dinner on a Sunday and was met with a great view and fantastic live music. They were busy but we were able to get a spot on the patio. This was ideal anyway because we were able to be close to the band and look at a great view of the mountains. I started out with a flight of four ciders to try. I tried the Hard Mango Lemonade, Hard Peach Tea, The Manhattan, and The Singapore Sling. They were all delicious. My favorite would have to be the peach tea because it tasted like peach when it first hit my lips then the tea lingered after. It had a rich and deep flavor. I also enjoyed the Hard Mango Lemonade. It tasted just like sparkling lemonade. I didn't taste much mango but it tasted good all the same. I also ordered the Duck Confit Poutine and the Colorado Lamb Burger but I was too excited to eat it and forgot to take pictures. I liked the poutine but I wish it had more gravy. It was a little dry. The duck was very good though. The burger was good but tasted a bit over cooked for my liking. It was loaded with goat cheese, tomato, Lemon and mint arugula, and pickled red onion. The arugula and red onion added a complex flavor to the dish. Overall the food and drinks were very good, however, our waitress was standoffish and a little rude at some points. She was not very friendly when she greeted us and seemed to generally just not want to be there. She also charged us an extra $4 for upgraded fries with our meals when neither of us ordered them. We didn't want to complain so we just paid for them but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth when we left. read more

I got their classic breakfast for almost $20 for the dish and they served me the smallest sausage I've ever received and then the scrambled eggs you could tell it was only the 1 egg. Flavor wise it was ok but the proportions of the food compared with the price was lacking. I would rather pay the same price at a Dennys than come back here. We love small plates, we enjoyed the deviled eggs, the pretzels, the duck fat fries, and the broccoli (but I'll tell you what, they served the broccoli in such a strange kind of quasi-fine dining presentation.. a little weird for the venue and you really don't get much broccoli as result). Cider Connoisseur's favorite spot! Came here on St Patrick's day with a party of 2. There was no wait, and we were helped immediately at the bar. The place was about 60% capacity when we showed up. The staff were friendly and informative. They have awesome outdoor seating though it's been too cold for that. There's plenty of indoor seating as well I ordered the hot cider non alcoholic and the cider doughnuts with huckleberry jam. The cider was extremely delicious and sweet. It's the same cider used to make the hard ciders. They seem to brew their own ciders. In terms of cost, it was pretty reasonable for the cider flight, doughnuts, and hot cider. But at times he was unsure about a lot of things. I do love their ciders. But I won't be back here. I'll just buy the ciders at a local liquor store instead. This place just misses so many marks. Who doesn't love cider? It's adult apple juice! Plenty of seating here so I don't think you'll have an issue getting a chair. The patio has benches and tables for you or your closest group of 8 friends. There is seating inside if you aren't too keen on sitting around outside. There is some street parking around the block it you can't find a close spot. Or if you're feeling adventurous you can also walk from the train or bus. It's a little bit of a hike but doable. Food truck rotation happens and they even do special events. Check the signs for what's coming up. As for the cider, I'm not sure I can't really critique it because I am biased and enjoy almost all styles of cider. I prefer the more typical dry apple ciders, but also tried their more fruity ones. Who doesn't like pear or orange flavors? If you're unsure go for a flight. They cover the basics of the different types or you can mix and match your own. What a great place to spend an afternoon in RiNo. We went to the taproom on a Sunday after walking around the neighborhood and tried a flight. If it was a bit warmer, I probably would've tried the slushie. It looked delicious. We were just in the mood for sampling, so the flight worked for us. There are pre arranged flights based on taste (dry or sweet) or you can arrange your own custom choices. I recommend the guava chili pepper combo. Again, the flight pours were a great size for me, but you could also do 10 oz, 16 oz or even growlers if you want some to go. The location was great, tucked off the street, food trucks on site and plenty of large tables to accommodate a larger group. At the suggestion of the bartender, I got a flight. I tried the habanero guava, the rose, paloma, and a guest tap. Every one of them was good in a different way. To keep it short and not get too personal: the vibes here when we visited were immaculate - the service we received from Nick and the crew made us feel like the most welcomed visitors and turned an upsetting trip to Denver into an unforgettable one. We decided to start our tour of Downtown Denver at Stem Cider. It was early afternoon and the sun was blazing down, but Stem Cider had a nice and open indoor seating area coupled with a few tent-covered outdoor tables. We went up to the bar and decided to have a flight of ciders. We decided on the pommeau, banjo, lava flow, and chili guava. The Pommeau was STRONG like advertised...it is a dessert wine and is delightfully sweet and boozy. I ordered the banjo to see what kind of additional flavors the aging in whiskey barrels would add...the answer is not an extraordinary amount, but enough to kind of taste. The lava flow wasn't as dry as the menu made it out to be, as I thought it was refreshing with (not overly)sweet notes. Finally, the chili guava was sweet with a light spicy aftertaste which was quite nice on such a hot day. My favorites had to be the lava flow and chili guava.
