A must visit for cider lovers in the area, my wife and I tried a flight of 4 and none of them disappointed. They have an outdoor patio and inside they have a bar top as well as some lower and higher tables. Sit where you want or host puts you and scan the QR code to order and drinks and food will be brought to you. The staff we interacted with were friendly and knowledgeable of their products and welcoming. The overall vibe is industrial which seemed to be working for them. My wife and I thought that all the ciders we tried were outstanding especially the apricot haze and blueberry lime. Although the best decision we made was grabbing the Bison Short Rib Poutine....it was soooooooo good! Perfect dish for us to split during our visit and bring from Maine rarely if ever find Bison on the menu. To recap like I said at the start if you are a cider lover than visit this spot! Even worth those who aren't in to ciders due to having food.
Last hurrah for the rino location. Really enjoyed the lava flow and blueberry lime ciders! Great service and location. I'll miss this place.
Excellent, scratch made food. The bison short rib poutine is amazing! Med rare burger? No problem, and executed perfectly. The black and blue steak was fantastic, and the chargrilled asparagus was text book, perfectly crisp tender. The cider flights are a no-brainer way to try their delicious ciders, and there was not a single miss of the 8 we tried. Technically 9, since my husband ordered a 16 oz of an additional flavor. Our favorite was the blueberry lime, an unexpected twist on the ubiquitous lemon blueberry pairing, and we took 2 growlettes to go. Service was excellent, too; friendly and knowledgeable. Overall one of my favorite Denver experiences!
Came to Stem before a Rockies game, and enjoyed the experience! It was a nice day, so the patio was already full, so we were seated inside. Nice to have the garage door above the bar open for the fresh air! Ordered a flight of ciders to try a bunch, and all were a little unexpected from what I thought! I got Pear, Lavender, Hibiscus and Peach. None of them were very effervescent, but I actually prefer that! Lavender didn't have as much flavor as I hoped, and Peach wasn't super fruity as I thought. I think next time I'd get a pint of the Hibiscus with ice! We ordered the squash dish, which was REALLY tasty, all ingredients together in a bite was perfect, would order again. Could've used more squash though honestly! Service started out a little slow, but we arrived during a shift change, and then it was spot on and friendly!
Amazing service. So friendly and answered our questions and gave us their "insight" for choices. Had brunch and tasting for start of my Bach weekend and also stopped here in Brew Bike tour later that weekend! Brewery vibes - bathrooms were clean as was the place overall.
I'm a big cider gal, so this place was great! The cider flavors are unique and really go to show what the variety of ciders can look like. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie board and the pretzels to share together, Nothing special about the pretzels, but I did really like the shape of them. The charcuterie board was pretty yummy-although it felt like there could have been more intentionality with the almonds and jam? But not really a big deal. My favorite cider had to be the Neural Nectar! It is really beautifully set up and I like the ambiance of the place as a whole. The only complaint that I had was that it took a bit to get our drinks and to also get sat. Wasn't too long, but had never had that sort of wait in a taproom setting. Would definitely come here again, maybe in a date setting!
3.5 stars. Another RiNo eatery checked off the list! I've been procrastinating on Stem because cider isn't my alcoholic beverage of choice. But it was conveniently located near friends I was hanging out with, so we grabbed some barstools on the outdoor patio (it was PACKED) until a few tables opened up. Service is excellent, but it felt chaotic and a little slow. I had a cider flight (that's the way to go) though they were out of a few selections. Delicious variety that educated me on the possibility of cider flavors. Got a lamb burger and fries to go with the flight. The fries were better than the lamb and overall wasn't impressed by the food, but would definitely come back for cider if I was ever craving that.
By far our absolute FAVORITE spot in RiNo! I'm not a fan of beer, so when I saw they had a cider place I knew I had to go. We went and between the very affordable cider flights, friendly staff & huge selection, it's now our go-to! They also have most of their ciders available in 4 packs to go. The cider flights (4 drinks) for $12 is an absolute steal. They rotate their selections pretty frequently, but over time, our favorites have been: Singapore Sling, Off Dry, Apricot Haze & Tangerine Whip They have both indoor and outdoor seating + bar seating. Everyone who works there is very friendly!
Stem Ciders is a great place in the heart of RiNo! It has a chill relaxed vibe with a nice patio. They have solid food options and many unique ciders to choose from. Our waiter was very friendly and patient, giving us her recommendations. I definitely recommend going if you are looking for a low-key drink and maybe some food.
I am not often in downtown, but when I am, I try at least one of their cideries to see what the buzz is about. Stem is probably one of the better ones I have tried in recent years down here. Though they are a struggle to get to (thanks inner-city navigation!), they got the place all laid out for your arrival. They also repurposed some deli coolers to serve you some packs ice cold if you wanted some on the go. We decided to also try the food while we were here. The truffle fries were okay, definitely not something I'd recommend coming here for.
What a great little find! Fun place in RiNo to grab a cider with a bite. Stem Ciders has friendly staff that appreciate you stopping by. Their motto is, "the world is your orchard" and they definitely provide this with their extensive selection of ciders ranging from dry to sweet, depending on your preference. Our bartender steered us toward the more traditional European cider fare - the butter braised mushrooms with potato pancakes. A perfect compliment to our ciders.
This was the perfect place to catch up with an old friend. We came in on a Saturday at 12:45 p.m. We had a reservation to be safe, but the place was only half full at this hour. The staff was friendly and offered suggestions when what we originally wanted to order wasn't available. The charred broccoli was fantastic! We ate it up so quickly. The combination of the citrus, savory spice, cheese, and crunch was delightful. The salad was pretty standard, but the bacon chocolate chip pancakes were very nice -- slightly crispy edges with a soft, fluffy center. Neither the bacon nor the chocolate overpowered each other.
Yes and yes! Yes the beer and food is good so yes you should visit. Love the shareables and my partner enjoyed her cider flights. I ordered a cocktail and was surprised how they infused cider into popular cocktails. The ambiance is amazing especially if you get to sit outside. Service is good. Would visit again.
Such a great place to hang out and try some new flavors! We got the cider flight - super fun to try flavors I probably wouldn't order in a full size. And we were surprised to find that we liked the bourbon cider the best! The GF donuts were super yummy, and a rarity to find! The goat cheese was a take it or leave it for me. And then the burger was really great, along with the fries - I even loved the GF bun, another thing that's hard to find! read more
My husband and I were traveling to Denver for the first time and this was the first place we stopped. It was chill dog friendly environment. Everyone was super kind and accommodating to our pups! We appreciate all the staff who gave our pups love and were super respectful when asking if they could pet them! We didn't order any lunch but we did split the pretzel which was delicious!! We both loved our cider flight! If you a big cider fan or have never tried a cider before I high recommend Stem Ciders!! read more

I got a Cider Flight from here. I commented I might not remember every flavor I wanted when I went to order and they pointed out that they have little cards to write down what flavors I want so that was helpful. If I had more time I definitely would have tried more ciders. They had a very wide selection of ciders (obviously, since it's a cidery) so almost anyone could find something they would want to try. If I ever go to Denver again I would definitely stop by here again. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed my flight and the outdoor patio seating. read more

Small outdoor area was nice on a warm day and I always enjoy a flight. Lots of fun flavours to choose from, but most of them are sweeter than I would like. Really liked the plain dry and the hopped ciders. If you're more of a sweet cider fan definitely give this place a try! read more
This place was great. They have a ghost pepper bbq sauce that is to die for. I took several of them home that I use on other stuff and if you like spicy food that it's a must try. The burger was delicious and well made, super juicy and tasty. The fries were amazing as well. Never thought of myself as a cider guy but they place serious made me rethink that stance. Typically didn't enjoy ciders but that place has some really great options and also pretty strong so watch out lol. read more

Love, love, loved our trek to Stem Ciders. Parents were in town and this was an easy decision, because who can't get down with some yummy cider?! You guessed it, no one. Stem has ciders literally for anyone. We tried them all. Three flights. There may have been two I would've gifted to someone else, but If push came to shove, I also wouldn't have left those said ciders on the table either. So, there's that. I loved the fruity ciders as well as the sours. Surprisingly, I also like those with subtle hints you had to pay attention to, like the ginger. Even the cucumber cider was shockingly like eating a legit cucumber, lol. Suffice it to say, we had a great time with the flights and then ordered a few of our favorite picks. Check in and seating were a smooth, well oiled process and finding the table signage that shared "this table has been sanitized and is ready for you" was also a nice touch. With COVID, some do it really well and other places have room to grow. Stem nailed it on all fronts. Really enjoyed our afternoon here and will def be back. read more
Walked in on a Saturday without a reservation and was able to be seated immediately. Our server was very nice and attentive and everything came out quickly. They have an insane amount of cider options so I went with a flight to try a few of them and they were all so good. I would not skip the deviled eggs!! read more
Yum! A delicious dry cider brewery. I enjoyed a custom flight of the lavender, cobra's fang (passion fruit, strawberry, vanilla), chili guava, and raspberry. All were on the dry side with fruit-forward flavors! Excellent! Nice outdoor seating. read more
This is a beautiful venue with delicious ciders and great food. I came here for dinner on a Sunday and was met with a great view and fantastic live music. They were busy but we were able to get a spot on the patio. This was ideal anyway because we were able to be close to the band and look at a great view of the mountains. I started out with a flight of four ciders to try. I tried the Hard Mango Lemonade, Hard Peach Tea, The Manhattan, and The Singapore Sling. They were all delicious. My favorite would have to be the peach tea because it tasted like peach when it first hit my lips then the tea lingered after. It had a rich and deep flavor. I also enjoyed the Hard Mango Lemonade. It tasted just like sparkling lemonade. I didn't taste much mango but it tasted good all the same. I also ordered the Duck Confit Poutine and the Colorado Lamb Burger but I was too excited to eat it and forgot to take pictures. I liked the poutine but I wish it had more gravy. It was a little dry. The duck was very good though. The burger was good but tasted a bit over cooked for my liking. It was loaded with goat cheese, tomato, Lemon and mint arugula, and pickled red onion. The arugula and red onion added a complex flavor to the dish. Overall the food and drinks were very good, however, our waitress was standoffish and a little rude at some points. She was not very friendly when she greeted us and seemed to generally just not want to be there. She also charged us an extra $4 for upgraded fries with our meals when neither of us ordered them. We didn't want to complain so we just paid for them but it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth when we left. read more

The service and ambiance were fine for the place. However, the food was disappointing. I got their classic breakfast for almost $20 for the dish and they served me the smallest sausage I've ever received and then the scrambled eggs you could tell it was only the 1 egg. Flavor wise it was ok but the proportions of the food compared with the price was lacking. I would rather pay the same price at a Dennys than come back here. Hopefully they improve on their food proportions. read more

Hi, I have sent you a private message regarding your experience…
Love! I could have easily stayed here all day. Environment: hot fall day, open windows and doors gave a nice breeze throughout. Music was on point- not too loud. Not too quiet, good mix. I sat at the bar and Brianna kept me company while suggesting new bevs which fit the taste profiles I had already expressed to her. The other servers moving about were also welcoming and friendly. I didn't have any food, but what I saw and smelled looked great! Will be going every time I am back in Denver! read more
The ciders are definitely solid here and super chill vibe. Staff was super friendly. The food selection was okay. I would recommend eating elsewhere first and coming here for drinks with maybe a snack if you need it. I would definitely go back as the variety of flavors in their ciders and taste were great. read more

Cider Connoisseur's favorite spot! Came here on St Patrick's day with a party of 2. There was no wait, and we were helped immediately at the bar. The place was about 60% capacity when we showed up. The staff were friendly and informative. They have awesome outdoor seating though it's been too cold for that. There's plenty of indoor seating as well I ordered the hot cider non alcoholic and the cider doughnuts with huckleberry jam. The cider was extremely delicious and sweet. It's the same cider used to make the hard ciders. They seem to brew their own ciders. In terms of cost, it was pretty reasonable for the cider flight, doughnuts, and hot cider. Those three items totaled around $25 read more
If you are seeking a variety of ciders to accommodate all, then this is your place! For me, I seek a dryer cider, and they were able to accommodate! Not only can I can get a dry cider but I can get a dry cider slushie for the very hot temps of Colorado. If you're looking to cool down with a cider and you like dry to sweet then this is a good place to stop in. They have both outdoor and indoor sitting! So come for a pint! read more

Our friends took us here and we had a great time! They have a really expansive property and it looked like everyone was enjoying their time. The kids seemed to love the hammocks and little playground there and so many cute pups. We sat outside end enjoyed the view of the Rockies out over on the side of the restaurant. We didn't try the food but it looked great. The ciders were all delicious and it was just a nice place to hangout with friends. read more
Had a great Sunday girls brunch at the Rino location! There were 6 of us and we went at 12:30. It was not busy which was really nice (right before the Broncos game, so maybe that's why it was quiet!) Brianna was our server and she was fantastic! Made the experience so much better. Loved the atmosphere and diverse brunch menu. I enjoyed the bacon chocolate chip pancakes. So light and fluffy and the butter was delicious. My friend had the apple waffles with whipped cream and she really enjoyed them. They looked amazing! I got the bison short rib eggs Benedict to go for my boyfriend and he really enjoyed it. Potatoes were flavorful and crispy. It was a beautiful day, 70 and sunny, so the windows were open and the indoor / outdoor patio flow was really nice. I would definitely go back again for brunch and to try other menu items! read more

This place was delicious! Service was great. The flights were fun, tasty, and reasonably priced. It's fun to have a cider place to try out especially if you have any non-beer drinking friends. I definitely recommend the flights to find a favorite. All the ciders varied greatly. read more

A nice afternoon vibe. We ordered all 3 cider flights, a pretzel, a cider doughnut, and a hot apple cider. Enjoyed the tasting experience -- my favorites were the Spicy Guava and raspberry. My friend loved the Paloma, and another friend enjoyed the "le chêne" -- although everyone else hated it. The pretzel and mustard was quite good, as was the cider doughnut. read more
Who doesn't love cider? It's adult apple juice! Plenty of seating here so I don't think you'll have an issue getting a chair. The patio has benches and tables for you or your closest group of 8 friends. There is seating inside if you aren't too keen on sitting around outside. There is some street parking around the block it you can't find a close spot. Or if you're feeling adventurous you can also walk from the train or bus. It's a little bit of a hike but doable. Food truck rotation happens and they even do special events. Check the signs for what's coming up. As for the cider, I'm not sure I can't really critique it because I am biased and enjoy almost all styles of cider. I prefer the more typical dry apple ciders, but also tried their more fruity ones. Who doesn't like pear or orange flavors? If you're unsure go for a flight. They cover the basics of the different types or you can mix and match your own. Staff recommendations also let you sample some of the more non-traditional drinks. Not much else to say other than it's cider. Go ahead already and order whatever sounds intriguing, I'm sure you won't make a bad choice! read more

I absolutely love Stem! No idea why I haven't given a review before now but I am doing one tonight. This is my favorite place to come to with my friends. Once a month or every other month we get together to enjoy Cider pairing night. For $26-28 you get to pair 4 ciders to whichever food pairing option it is for the night (always a local food place). I love the ambiance and the staff. The Cider is amazing. There are so many different flavors that its hard to choose; which is why I usually get the flight. It really is my favorite place to be. Come out for a pairing on a Tuesday night or maybe a half of 10 Oz cider on Wednesdays for Geeks who Drink trivia night! read more
What a great place to spend an afternoon in RiNo. We went to the taproom on a Sunday after walking around the neighborhood and tried a flight. If it was a bit warmer, I probably would've tried the slushie. It looked delicious. We were just in the mood for sampling, so the flight worked for us. There are pre arranged flights based on taste (dry or sweet) or you can arrange your own custom choices. I recommend the guava chili pepper combo. Again, the flight pours were a great size for me, but you could also do 10 oz, 16 oz or even growlers if you want some to go. The location was great, tucked off the street, food trucks on site and plenty of large tables to accommodate a larger group. According to the calendar, there are also musicians and other events through each month. read more

Allison is the best server EVER she had amazing recommendations about the drinks and Nick the AGM told us about mixing ciders and gave us a free sample of a mix of the salted cucumber and Chile guava--the spicy pickle they called it--which was easily the best cider I have ever had. Allison was so kind and had amazing conversation with my friends and I as we celebrated finishing our first law school exam! Nick got us some amazing west coast and (my favorite, a taste of home) east coast oysters! I brought in my own growler to fill with their AMAZING salted cucumber cider that Allison recommended with Bloody Mary mix. She gave me a sample and it was INCREDIBLE!!!! 100% coming back here to keep celebrating our law school wins with her as our server. Thank you Stem! read more

This place has delicious cider and really good food. The service is also very friendly, although they do seem to frequently be a bit understaffed for how busy they tend to be. This can make things a little slow, but I'd say it's totally worth the wait. read more
Stopped in here with a local friend. I was traveling and he know I made hard cider so we biked there. It was a very chill area. We sat outside and enjoyed our ciders. At the suggestion of the bartender, I got a flight. I tried the habanero guava, the rose, paloma, and a guest tap. Every one of them was good in a different way. I personally prefer dry ciders and they all hit the mark. They were crisp and refreshing with just a hint of effervescence. The staff was friendly and was willing to pour a couple tastes before I made my final decision. You can buy many of their products in stores but if you want the bar/tasting experience, I wholeheartedly recommend this local haunt. read more

We made reservations and were seated right away. It was great to have a few cider flights. The salty cucumber was my favorite. We had the crispy tofu, carrots, and poutine. All were unique and delicious. We will definitely be back to try the desserts. read more
This was the first stop our self-curated bar crawl back in April. We ordered at the service window and sat outside under the tents. I got a flight (per usual). cute & trendy little spot! i am not a cider or beer person, so take that into consideration. for drinks, i had the bitter brittany & the party like a flockstar. although the first wasnt too bitter, it had a weird flavor that was slightly off putting. if you like sweetish & fruity ciders, id recommend the flockstar. i ordered sweet & spicy mushrooms as an app, then cheeseburger & fries for dinner. the mushrooms were fried, but a lil mushy. the fries were crispy, but reminded me of smthg i could make at home. highly recommend the burger! it was well cooked & flavorful, and you MUST ask for the ghostpepper bbq sauce. it packed heat, & you feel it as you continue to eat it. 5 stars on the sauce, they should bottle this stuff! hospitality was also a highlight, the man who supported our waitress while we were there was super cool & helpful. read more

Love that Denver has a cider spot as an alternative to tradish breweries and beer gardens. I personally don't care for beer but love the idea of having a low ABV drink outside with friends. Stem specializes in dry ciders and they have 10+ on tap for you to choose. I got a flight which was a sampling for $10. During COVID they are having patrons sit outside social distance style but you are welcome to pop inside to use the restroom. Management is strict about social distancing, which is great! We sat on the patio and noticed the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles mural that popped up during Crush Walls 2020! read more

AMAZING CIDER!! I got the Flockstar and Peach SweetTea Cider both delicious and I'd recommend the Flockstar to anyone who loves watermelon (especially for summer)! Their food was pretty good. Next time I would just get a snack instead of spending money of a full meal. I can't wait to go back when it's nice outside and sit on their patio! read more
We decided to start our tour of Downtown Denver at Stem Cider. It was early afternoon and the sun was blazing down, but Stem Cider had a nice and open indoor seating area coupled with a few tent-covered outdoor tables. We went up to the bar and decided to have a flight of ciders. We decided on the pommeau, banjo, lava flow, and chili guava. The Pommeau was STRONG like advertised...it is a dessert wine and is delightfully sweet and boozy. I ordered the banjo to see what kind of additional flavors the aging in whiskey barrels would add...the answer is not an extraordinary amount, but enough to kind of taste. The lava flow wasn't as dry as the menu made it out to be, as I thought it was refreshing with (not overly)sweet notes. Finally, the chili guava was sweet with a light spicy aftertaste which was quite nice on such a hot day. My favorites had to be the lava flow and chili guava. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy some cider! read more
