It was quite empty when we got there, which was a surprise as this place is quite good, but we went first thing in the morning so it was understandable. Perhaps it was the rain outside, but this brunch place felt very chill and peaceful. Our server was helpful and took our order quickly. We started with drinks. I got an iced tea (that I no longer see in the current menu) and my boyfriend got a matcha with strawberry milk. I thought my tea was pretty good, although it was a tad too subtle for me. I could taste hints of peach but not much else. My boyfriend liked his matcha drink and thought it was one of the better matchas he's had in our short Winnipeg trip (I would agree). Our mains came quickly. He ordered the chiquilas (and he ordered it with chicken) and he really liked it. I had a bite as well and it was a nice interesting flavour. I was craving bacon and eggs so I ordered the classic breakfast. It was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon was good and crispy. I added sausages on the side and I'm glad I did. Overall, this is a great place to have brunch. They have cocktails as well as a diverse drink selection. They have some interesting stuff on the menu, such as the Palestinian breakfast, which I am curious to try if I ever come back.
