Everything we tried was absolutely wonderful. Had La croque Monsieur warmed up in store and took home a selection of croissants and the baguette to eat later. We loved it. I just wish this was closer to home so I could visit more often!

Just had an almond croissant fresh from oven - amazing! Boys devoured the Nutella croissants.

Such a cute little bakery! There is plenty of tables and chairs to bring company or just study in a corner. The pastries were delicious! I would recommend everything I got: pain au chocolat, regular croissant, lemon meringue croissant, and the opera cake.

Best almond croissant in Winnipeg. Cute cafe located in the French neighbourhood Tachè avenue. The workers are really pleasant and hard working, try and go as early as possible because those almond croissants sell out fast!

Amazing! Decided to stop in this morning on my way to work and sure glad I did. I bought 4 different kinds of Croissants, a bag of cookies and a bag of meringue. All of it was fresh and delicious. Probably my new favourite croissants in the city! If it's your first time going give yourself some time as there is so much to see and look at!

I love this French bakery because I love their croissants!!!! I haven't been here since 2009 but I was in the area recently and went in for a caloric splurge! This bakery does not have the best hours...at least for non-morning people like me. They are closed by 1 pm on weekdays meaning that when you show up at 12:45 pm, like I did one time, there were no plain croissants left, only pain au chocolat. Not terrible but let's just say you have to go early to ensure that you have a selection to choose from. The croissants are absolutely divine - perfectly crisp exterior, nice butter flavour and a nice fluffy interior. Some croissant interiors can be quite hollow but this one is not like that at all! At $1.80 each and a million calories...it's definitely worth eating 1 or 2 in one sitting. Okay, I had 2...but they were so good and I worked out for 90 mins the day before (or so I justified to myself). LOL. They also serve up other croissant flavours like almond, cheese (mozzarella), and chocolate ($2.80 each). The pain au chocolate is a nice dark chocolate and very lovely. They also make mini desserts, loafs, cookies and palmiers (lots of palmiers). They also sell cheese and pate. I had a yummy quiche like item, even though it was not a quiche. It had a light pastry shell and it was filled with cheese and tomatoes ($3.50). Very simple but very yummy. This chocolate item (see pic) was $5 and very small but very rich. It was like chocolate ganache, not cake like at all. It was sweet but not overly so but two bites was enough for me. Service is friendly and bilingual. Just make sure you go early in the day! Hours: Wed-Fri: 8 am to 1 pm Sat: 8 am to 2 pm Sun: 8 am to Noon

Fantastic almond croissants! The lemon custard tart was so good. Also, a nice casual eat-in environment.
