Packed to the walls busy! I arrived late last night so I was dragging and hungry. Ordered a cappuccino and a bacon quiche, and the woman handling the pastry was super nice and offered to heat it up. We found a table and dug in, I saw my colleague picked an almond croissant and got a cappuccino as well. Love this spot. Offerings are so good, plenty of stuff for anyone to enjoy and it's pretty amazing how busy it was at 10:15 on a Thursday morning. Support small owned businesses! I hope to be back sometime in the future!

It's basically a bakery where you pick out what you want pay for it and then find a seat. I got a loaf of bread to go and they were kind enough to slice it for me. It was fairly tasty. That one is fine, but Juneberry is AMAZING! I am still dreaming about the blueberry ricotta pancakes. Would go again the next time I'm in Winnipeg though. Friendly people and parking was easy to find. Food was good. I had the eggs Benedict and didn't have a complaint. They have these air fried potatoes that were perfectly crisped.

Three or four tables have power receptacles, and the staff is friendly. Everything about this place says that it should be a 5-star, daily visit, favorite. Except it's not. Don't get me wrong. I find myself going there more and more. It is just somehow less relaxing than a starbucks. On fire. I can't pick just what it is. The inconsistent décor, the stripmall flooring, or utilitarian seating arrangement. It just lacks character. It's a fine enough place. And I really would suggest it to anybody. I really do like it. I just can't love it.

I really have no idea what is going on here. The reviews and the food looked so promising online…read morebut did not live up to the hype. First things first they are located in a building that is basically a food hall- we went for breakfast and had a heck of a time even finding it. When we got there- ghost town. I was confused if they were even open. Plus a lot of the menu was covered up and we weren't left with a ton of options. For what we spent vs. what we got there's no why I can recommend this. I ended up going with the brisket eggs benedict and it tasted off- really off. I didn't really taste eggs, brisket or sauce. It did come with a side of potatoes but nothing special. The buffalo chicken sandwich was okay, but again wasn't the first choice. I just cannot get over how confused I was getting here, ordering and eating. We honestly thought we were at the wrong restaurant. We wont be back and I would highly recommend checking somewhere else out.

From the exterior, it may look unassuming, but stepping inside you are greeted by bright, cheery tile and their signature seafoam colour palette. The baristas were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the food and coffee were both delicious. A lot of the time, a milk drink like this can have a pretty flat flavour profile, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Little Sister's espresso shots have a nice complexity and nuance that shines through the creamy milk. Over the course of a few days in Winnipeg, I was here more than once and got multiple drinks both times and left with two bags of beans, for myself and a friend. What more do you need to know?

They are the perfect size for events, reasonably priced, and come in a wide variety of flavours--honestly, you can't go wrong with any of them. The ordering process was simple, and everything was packaged very well for pickup. The cheesecakes themselves were not overly sweet, which we really appreciated, and the texture was rich and creamy. One thing we didn't fully plan for was that they need to be kept frozen, which made transport a bit stressful--but they held up perfectly. Despite the heat on the wedding day, they stayed in great condition and served beautifully. Our guests absolutely loved them, and we received so many compliments throughout the night. We would definitely order from Double D's again for any future event.
