I loved the thick layer of melted feta cheese on the bread, it made the pistachios on it so delicious and I usually don't like pistachios. The owner was really nice and so was the bartender. Everyone should eat here at least once, I highly recommend it!

We honestly thought we were at the wrong restaurant. We wont be back and I would highly recommend checking somewhere else out.

But late last year I decided to buy a pop art ceramic mug for my mom's birthday (she had been eyeing it for months) at this location and I was really impressed with the customer service. It's pretty rare that I experience good customer service ANYWHERE downtown (including Starbucks) so I was really happy that the lady working went out of her way to find me a box with styrofoam to pack the mug in AND a cute paper bag that looked a lot like a gift bag, when I told her it was for my mom's birthday (she didn't charge me extra for either). As for the coffee, I decided I would get my mom a $30 gift certificate (ya I know, original) from the same location for Xmas. They have this promotion on where you recieve a free latte if you put $30 on one of the Second Cup cards/GC so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try a Caramel Corretto. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised. My mom was completely right when she told me that their coffee is MUCH stronger in flavour and caffeine than Starbucks. So overall I'm pretty much a convert. I go to university a few blocks away and will definitely be back whenever I need a fix. P.S. The Raspberry Dark Chocolate Latte is delicious.

The baristas were friendly and helpful, the service was quick, and the food and coffee were both delicious. A lot of the time, a milk drink like this can have a pretty flat flavour profile, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that Little Sister's espresso shots have a nice complexity and nuance that shines through the creamy milk. Over the course of a few days in Winnipeg, I was here more than once and got multiple drinks both times and left with two bags of beans, for myself and a friend. What more do you need to know?

Instead, it was matcha latte with syrup at the bottom, which I believe was lavender syrup. It's also topped with their coffee cloud cold foam. Regardless, it was darn good! After doing a bit of research on Google, turns out that the combination of matcha latte and lavender is supposed to resemble the taste of milk that's leftover from a bowl of fruit loops. If you're not feeling like coffee, tea or a latte, they have other drinks available including beer and wine. I thought I was coming into a coffee shop, but they actually had a lot more to offer, including pizza on their menu.

Loads of seating inside in a cabin-like setting with a fireplace to sit next to in the cold months. This is a great place for groups or to just hang out with a book or get some work done. A nice big patio with umbrellas for those nice days. The treats are also delicious. We tried two massive cookies (ginger and chocolate chip) and they were very tasty. It makes me sad that it's their only location in town because it's not very convenient for me - literally across the city. But we do stop on our way out of town when it isn't too hot to be drinking coffee (I don't do iced!).
