I live in a corner unit by the dog park which gets a bit noisy with the yappy dogs and the dumpster in the morning from the fast food restaurants. Other then those little things I have no complaints. They do small events for the tenants like breakfast the second weekend of every month and other holiday gatherings and giveaways. Maintenance is very reliable, they care of projects in a timely manner. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a place in Gilbert.

When you ask them to remove the valet fee, they say they cannot remove it because it is required in the rent. They have gotten too many complaints for the valet trash ($35). If valet doesn't take trash, they should really take it off people's rent, not keep over charging people for stupid things. They also charge you $3k almost $4k to move out before your lease not matter what you are going through (life change, job change, financial change, etc). Staff is really nice and so is maintenance. I just do not recommend Mark-Taylor. Too expensive. They charge too many fees.

We also feel that the office staff is very easy to talk to with questions, concerns, or just personal relationships. The maintenance staff has also been very helpful when requests have been made through the Community App. They go above and beyond to keep the place looking good and are very proud to do it. All staff here work extremely hard to make this a great place and we try hard to also do our part to keep the place better than how we find it! This is a great community to live and we love meeting our neighbors to support one another. This place is highly recommended by my husband and I.

We watch sports events together in the clubhouse on the huge tv screen ( Lot of resident-led classes, so we get to do & learn what we want at no cost--walking, writing, book club, art, music, Bunco, bingo, poker, dominoes, pickleball, & volleyball are some of the great offerings. British tea every other Wednesday is a fun & friendly activity for mostly women, but men are invited too. No raised pinkies there! Weekly "happy hour"potlucks are where neighbors catch up & share what we've done that week & in our travels & lives. Saturday AM coffee is a low-key gathering where newcomers can come & learn about our community and neighbors can catch up. Our maintenance guys Buddy & Marek deserve gold medals--they are quick to help & highly knowledgeable. All the staff here is helpful too (big shout-out to Alyse our activities director who brings us topnotch creative ideas, classes, and activities and dear smart Kate who answers every question --and if she doesn't know the answer immediately, she'll find out!) We've been here six months and are loving it, particularly our wonderful neighbors & friends we've made. We're enjoying everyone! Bless you all!!

After viewing the model, we decided to move forward and apply. Christine made the whole process incredibly easy and smooth with her consistent communication; we were able to finish signing our lease within a day! I'll update our experiences once we move in. :)

Since I moved to Acero apartment, I always tell people that I move to a resort. That's what it feels to me living in Acero Apartments. there's also a dog park with a station to bathe dogs. He didn't hit anyone, steal, or even approach the apartment manager, yet she told us no matter what she was calling the police. everything she told the police was a complete lie. She still lying today and it's Monday. I do not feel safe here. if something so small can trigger management to call the police can you imagine what they will do to me and my family going forward... I am scared to be here.

This ongoing pattern of silence and avoidance reflects very poorly on how this complex treats its residents and potential tenants. Communication should be the most basic part of property management, and they are failing at it entirely. At this point, I'm beyond frustrated and would strongly caution others to think twice before moving here. The property itself might look nice on the outside, but if you ever need help or have an issue that requires attention, expect to be ignored for weeks.

They "lost" my 17 month lease I signed April of 2025 and charged me an extra $600 at a month-to-month for one month without any type of notice and after going to talk to them three times in person, it was still never resolved. I received several emails that I had been "moved out" during my lease and I was not able to access the resident portal to pay rent. Again, multiple trips to the leasing office thinking the problem had been resolved only to get the same email that I had been moved out a week later. The front desk always goes to check with the assistant manager who has zero clue as to what is going on. And the latest issue... after breaking my lease early (because this place sucks) I was told by maintenance, a front desk assistant, and the assistant manager to leave my Cox WiFi Router in the apartment unit after moving out. Today, I received an email from Cox saying that I'm being charged $240 for not returning the router. So, do yourself a favor, rent quite literally anywhere else.
