I lived at this property for almost 12 yrs. Property management leased the 2 bd apartment above me to a family of 6 with a large dog. The noise at all hours, including in the middle of the night was unbelievable (balls bouncing, kids jumping off furniture, dog barking, riding scooters in the house, fighting, throwing items over the balcony, etc). I complained many times and was told "they're moving but we can't disclose when". Of course they never moved and the property manager admitted to me that he had received many complaints about the family and had spoken with the family himself. When I finally went almost 2 weeks with very little sleep, due to the noise, I decided to move. The property manager told me they were going to charge me a 60 day notice fee and a break the lease fee. I didn't want to move but it's unreasonable to expect someone to live under these conditions. read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! They have been giving us the run around ever since we decided to put in our notice. "Management" never seems to be on the same page or communicate with each other. They also won't show you the apartment you'd be moving into until the day of because "it's being renovated." They updated everything on the outside of the apartments instead of getting better appliances, our outdated stove has gone in and out quite a bit, theres a horrible smell that comes from our laundry area, mold is constantly coming out of the toilet so we have to clean it multiple times throughout the week, there's dog shit everywhere outside, there's a pile of trash from maintenance that's been sitting outside our door for a week now, the neighbors are consistently smoking weed, and the back pool has mold. We also have several records of multiple staff members telling us different things for the same fucking thing. PLEASE save your money and your time. There is nothing luxury about these apartments but the location. read more

A vehicle with no plates or placard for handicap spot has been parked in a handicapped spot. Building six. And it never moves. It has been reported and nothing has happened. It needs to move or be towed. I have rides coming to me being disabled that cannot park in the handicap spot because this vehicle is there. read more

Lack of consistency from the main office about community guidelines is frustrating. Things change from year to year but are not evenly enforced across the complex. Porches with curtains, for example. They've been allowed for the last 6 years, but suddenly this year they aren't allowed, under threat of a fine. And yet, at least seven units still have curtains, over a month after we are supposed to remove them. We aren't supposed to have furniture outside our front doors , and yet, several units have consistently kept various belongings on their front door porch spaces, for years. great location can walk everywhere. unfortunately the staff is terrible. One female staffer in particular will straight up lie to your face when confronted with anything. She is a bully and fast talker... English NOT her first language. you MUST document everything. conversations with her don't count and she falsifies information. upon move out... expect to be charged for carpet, cleaning, and paint. I am a single woman and a neat freak, except for not vacuuming and filling nail holes, the apartment was spotless. Also I left one open and empty moving box accidentally in the garage and was charged over $40 for "clean up". the garbage was 15 feet away! do not live here unless you have no other choice. The service and quality of the Staff at Encantada Queen Creek has always been fantastic.

So-so apartment complex, interiors are very old. I'm a low maintenance renter and didn't have a high standard. Location is the only thing going for this place. 6 days after the end of my lease I was contacted with some fees, no problem. I have 2 boys and things happen. I asked if I could pay online and paid the fees using their online portal (that I used to pay rent the majority of my time with the company) at their suggestion. Money was taken out of my account 2 days later, 8 days after my lease ended. 3 MONTHS later I get a letter from National Credit Systems that I did not pay the move-out fees and will be reported to the credit bureaus. Absolutely not. I have confirmation that I paid on the portal and the debit from my checking account that I paid in full in a prompt and timely manner. So so shady. Do NOT lease here unless you need to be within walking distance of places. read more

Update: Parking is becoming a HUGE issue. This is our fifth night in a row having to park at one of the nearby retailers and walk into the complex. Very disappointing when there are abandoned cars, trailers, and storage pods all over the parking lot. It's so bad that people park in the handicap spaces without placards, and my neighbors across the hall who need that spot aren't able to use it. We have made them aware multiple times and management even responded to my last review and won't do anything. This place is going down hill by the day. read more

The amenities here we can NEVER USE..... There is dog poop EVERYWHERE... CIGARETTE BUTTS EVERYWHERE... Liquor bottles EVERYWHERE.... The new management you put in here is so crappy and they do NOTHING AT ALL. Our kids dirt bikes we bought them for Christmas where stole right out of the back of our truck in the parking lot (gated and secure) what a joke they have NEVER BEEN SECURED SINCE WE HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 2015... Tree fell on our truck and we where told that is our problem not you're problem... We loved that body shop bill and car rental bill by the way. Thank you. Nothing ever gets fixed right cabinets are falling off the hinges. Stove not level (multiple times asked for it to be fixed just like the dish wash that does not work and stinks all the time and the refrigerator that is not level). Ventilation system is so gross. The amount of dust that comes out of the filters are ridiculous we have to change our own filter and pay for our own filters every two weeks because it is too much for the management to do. Also the crickets that keep coming into the apartment and the drains are out of control and NEVER FIXED OR TAKEN SERIOUSLY BY YOUR NEW MANAGEMENT. SO please tell me why after Brian and his team left and this new management came is this place has went to down hill so fast while the prices continue to go up?????!!!!!! Maybe you should consider new management and evaluate your management and how they treat us here at the apartments and our concerns. Maybe you should come walk the grounds and some of the apartments here to see what we are all talking about instead of making excuses. Went out apartment hunting for my Mom today, stopped by the office, there was a man in his office who didn't even look up when we entered ... we walked all the way through the clubhouse without a word from him! Then finally in a very "your bothering me" tone he said "can I help you with something?" We said we are looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom apartment... he said I can give you the price list.... we asked could we see what they look like? He was irritated and said I'll need all of your ID's... I looked at my Mom and said no way!! We are leaving! What an Asshole! No manners, common courtesy... nothing! I just want to start by saying please don't move here..this community is awful. I don't care how nice the staff while showing apartments you will absolutely regret it. I have had multiple roach infestations due to a leak that took months to fix. I have had my shower flood my apartment after the cheap handle broke off and was told by the office manager HEATH nothing could be done for days. I have had toilets flood, disposals completely stopped working, and many more things. Heath does not care for the tenants in this community and will respond as heartless as possible in all situations. I have reported them to the BBB due to my shower flooding and I had to wait 3 days with it duck taped closed as mold grew. I was given $200 off my rent after crying for 4 days straight. Every conversation to this point has been recorded by me and I can prove how poor the living conditions are here. I would like MIKE JOHNSON to reach out to me directly to hear the recordings I have and prove Heath should not manage a community. *edit to be clear all other staff is willing to understand how frustrating this is and tries the best they can to help and maintenance is working like crazy but leadership and compassion needs to start with the top Heath or he needs to be fired from his position. read more

I lived in Encantada for three years and when I first moved in the apartment complex was exactly what it said a luxury gated community the grounds were immaculate the management was impeccable customer service was a 10 after about six or seven months of my living there they changed management and lost their help And they got a bunch of different maintenance in and out and different office help in the place starting to go downhill rapidly trash all over it took forever to get something repaired took me almost a year to get my electrical outlets fixed and then you have Elizabeth in the office who's been there since I moved in and she just doesn't care anymore I went in about four months before I gave them my notice that I was moving out and told her about some stuff and she looked me at my face and laughed and said why do you care you're moving. This isn't the kind of staff that you want to have on site they have numerous complaints because they're always short staffed on maintenance William is amazing he gets the work done he does what he hast to do he goes over and beyond they just can't seem to keep help and I just can't put my finger on why but it took them almost a year to get the damage from last year's miss soon fixed and trash is everywhere if you ride past the apartment complex you see trash piled up they don't stick by the rules they say your patio is not supposed to be used as a garage but half the people have their patios packed and stocked with trash and used furniture in it it doesn't look pleasant even ride by and they have such a bad reputation on the outside I used to tell people when I first moved in I live in Encantada I was so proud but now you tell people you live in Encantada and they're like wow that dump!! I've been telling Management about a car that has the windows busted out in the back of the complex that's been sitting there for forever the plates are from 2007 they've never done anything about it but they'll tow somebody's car in a heartbeat if it's parked in the wrong spot they pick and choose what rules they want to abide by on what day and that's just the mood in that whole office. The gates are broke every other month supposed to be secured. I've literally seen people from the outside come and park their vehicles in our parking lot and take suitcases out of their car and go on a trip and leave their vehicles there and when you report it to management they just blow it off like it's no big thing but they charge you an arm and a leg to live there but they let anybody that wants to park there's so much damage and theft and Shenanigans that go on literally there was this guy in this SUV living in the parking lot and one night I was walking my dog and he gets out of his vehicle and whips out his stuff and peas right in front of me so I go and tell Management the next day and they supposedly told him he wasn't allowed back on the property and then three weeks later I see he hooked up with a resident and he now is living at the apartment complex. My recommendation is not to move in there they will blow sunshine up your behind but once you move in it's not good read more

I have been here at least three times and almost rented an apartment each time. Something always lured me in a different direction, however, I keep it on my radar. The office staff are very friendly, upfront and seemingly transparent, and the prices (when I checked last time -7 mos ago) were reasonable in this market. No excessive and unnecessary add-on fees (at that time- it could have changed). My only concern are the reviews I've read. I've driven around the property and it looks clean and maintained but the reviews say otherwise. I'm also concerned about others that talk about car break-Ins and people hanging around that don't live there and sleeping in their cars. Who knows how reliable reviews are. I've only seen one complex with 4 stars. All others are usually at 2 or 3 at most. I will likely check it out again at the end of this year (2023) if my rent goes up where I'm at. Our experience with Encantada Apartments was nothing short of a nightmare. We went through the application process and our personal information was compromised by their fraudulent third party "credit checking" company. This managment company has extremely unethical business practices I would think twice before giving over your personal information to them. Don't be fooled by how it looks on the outside as they pay more attention to the outside than the actually apartments. I currently rent the Two bedroom...First issue, the living room/kitchen/dinning room has no windows. You have to leave the patio door open for outside ventilation. 2nd issue..Summer time even with the AC on 60 you'll still be burning up inside (faulty AC units). 3rd issue... maintenance guys suck as they "Mickey mouse" everything back together instead of replacing. My refrigerator has been leaking water in the inside for almost a year (he comes and does absolutely nothing) as of today it stopped working completely. Elizabeth Buena is the worst leasing consultant I've ever met. I think once she found out I was a 100 percent disabled veteran she got worse. I think my service to this Great Country offended her. She speaks with a soft accent from England , but she's rude and treated me horribly. I'm just the guarantor on the lease so I cannot speak to the community as a whole. But if you can avoid the above mentioned please do she's not a nice nor professional person at all. Pay close attention. My wife and I moved into this apartment for a two(2) month lease while waiting for our new house to be ready. We were sold on how nice the apartment was and were excited to live here even in the short term. We signed the contract and apparently we didn't read all the fine details. 30 days later we put in our 30 day notice thinking we would be perfect time to move out and into our new home. Unfortunately there was another date hidden in the contract that stated we had to finish out the month. Meaning that we were going to have to pay $620 (thats right it was close to $1240 a month) more than we had originally thought. This is not a big deal, but when we asked for some assistance the ownership were rude and even at one point threatening. We were told that we could leave but would be hit with a huge fee, or we could just stay and deal with it... No consideration to any other offers and it seemed that they were all about the money and not the community. Also for your consideration are the other minor issues we noticed. First off the parking was almost 100 yards away from our section of the complex. My wife works nights and we tried to get a spot closer and they didn't even seem to care or try. The hot tub and "theater room" made us feel like this could be a long vacation, but both were broken during our stay. I spoke with many other residents that verified the ownership were rude and uncompromising. The management is WAY understaffed and hard to get time with. If you are lucky enough to speak with Donna at the office she will be the only highlight living here. The other lady was the one who in a very threatening way told us "THAT WE COULDN'T LEAVE, without a huge fine." Bottom line is, if you have to live here for a long period of time, PAY attention to what you get and ensure that you don't have to work with the ownership as they will not work with you. There are other options close to here and if I was to do this again, would not choose this company to spend time with. read more

People speed in the parking lots. Pedestrian Gates are always broken.. The security is fair but limited. The office staff though friendly seem always overly busy. Encantada apartments is probably the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. When you go look at the models everything seems pretty nice, but when you actually move in your apartment may be different than the model you toured. My apartment was on a ground floor and it was like living in a dungeon with only one tiny window in the living room. But after living there for 2 years it just kept getting worse and worse. For example, when I moved in, there was all kinds of broken stuff and I had to keep calling the office to get the maintenance guy to fix things. Maintenance would show up and then would leave without finishing so I would have to keep calling to get stuff fixed. I finally gave up and decided to just live with it. When I moved out, they tried to charge me for repairing something that I asked them to repair when I moved in. Needless to say, i had to argue with them about it to get it taken off. Here's the list of what I had to deal with while living there... 1) Walmart grocery carts everywhere! Plus some obnoxious tenant kept putting their carts in front of my apartment door. So annoying, I don't even shop at Walmart!!!! 2) Dog poop everywhere! So gross! 3) Overflowing dumpsters every day! 4) Huge clouds of cigarette smoke everywhere! 5) Huge clouds of pot smoke everywhere! Gag! 6) Cricket infestation in the walls and vents! 7) Filthy air from the vents. Looks like black mold! 8) Noisy neighbors. I mean I heard everything! 9) Upstairs neighbors stole my Amazon packages, dumped their ashtrays onto my patio, stomped around all hours of the day/night. Totally obnoxious! 10) Random people always stealing your assigned parking spaces. 11) Do nothing office staff - if you call to report a noisy neighbor the office tells you to call the police or ask them nicely to be quiet. Seriously? That's just one example. 12) People with large dogs that don't keep them on a leash. A threat to me and my dog's safety! 13) Dogs that shouldn't be living there like Rottweilers and Pitbulls. 14) Unwanted furniture at dumpsters, including mattresses that look like a freaking murder scene. 15) Empty booze bottles all over the grounds. 16) Noisy kids riding bikes and skateboards through the corridors 17) When landscapers did their thing, they blow all the dead leaves, sticks and trash in front of my door and onto my patio. 18) Probably more to write about, but I think it says it pretty well what kind of apartment complex Encantada is. I paid a pretty penny for rent (basically a mortgage payment) and it definitely was not worth it! From my experience, I cannot recommend these apartments. They were filthy in my opinion. If I could give negative stars that is what I would give them. So, unfortunately, I do not recommend this place based on my experiences living there. read more

Too much to say about this place. We got new management about a year ago or so and it's gone downhill, fast. The pools and hot tubs are never working. I love that management replies to other Yelp reviews saying they're "so concerned" because if you actually go to them with an issue, they make an excuse about how it's over their head and that they can't do anything without the management company. Them acting like they care is an act. Spineless management if you ask me. There's trash and dog shit EVERYWHERE. We use to see someone picking stuff up but not anymore. We found a crack Pipe in the parking lot one time. Glad we picked it up before one of the kids found it. Abandoned cars make it impossible to park anywhere close to your unit. If it had looked like this when we moved in, we would have never signed. Take your money somewhere else!!! read more
