Had lunch here today. The bar tender is a bit of a smartass, AND really good at his job. The staff was attentive, beer was cold and the food delicious. I'll be back for sure! read more

What a fun fun place. Love that you can walk in, order, get a beer, sit, and just chill. Love the communal seating part of this place. Just encourages people to mix and mingle and have fun. Wow what a selection of beer as well. A+ for service here. I was honest with the employee helping me and said "ya that a lot of choices, what's popular and what do you recommend" with the QUICKNESS he was grabbing samples and going through popular and his favorites. Loved that. Made it so easy for me. I tried a few and picked one out. Loved it. Went back a couple more times and he remembered the other ones I liked. That's awesome service. Food was delish for sure. Something about this combination of sausage beer and pretzel. My goodness. Amazingness. I wish I was there at high traffic time to see how this place rolls when it's super busy. Either way, I'd return. I'd get beers and rotate through communal tables. Easy 5 stars all around. read more

We had a little pit stop here and it was very enjoyable. My husband ordered their Octoberfest beer and I had a cider. Both were very good and we paired with some rosemary fries. read more

The food here was decent but what got this place the 3 stars was the presentation. I get that it's covid but tbh it looked like the dude slapped the food in the box and then threw the box at the waitress. I get that it's covid but seriously? For over $60 worth of food and drink for two people that's not impressive. They have A TON of beers, ciders, and wine on tap which is cool ... Unfortunately the one beer my hubs did try he didn't enjoy and left half of it in the Mason jar... (He's never done that before). I wouldn't come here again, but if you haven't tried it I suggest you do! The food was fine ... But nothing to come back to given all the other spots to try in Leavenworth. We had the poutine fries (ehhh melted shredded chz??... Airplane food?) Kielbasa plate (pretty good but mostly fries....) And the salad that comes with the a and green beans (surprisingly good for how terrible it looked...) read more

Our family tried the chicken tenders, mac and cheese, and fish & chips. All food came out fast, hot, and tasty! Service was quick and I appreciated being able to order via my phone at the table. The vibe is very on par for Leavenworth. Would stop by again! read more

Visited a few months ago, went in to order takeout. Food was fantastic, it was made in a timely manner but customer service was lacking. The bartender lady that took our order had an awful attitude, almost as if it was a bother to take my order. Other than this moment, Leavenworth was gorgeous. read more

Great place! Food, atmosphere, and beer! The gift shop items are fantastic too! I always stop here when I'm in Leavenworth! Sometimes it's the reason I drive to Leavenworth alone! read more

Great selection of German beers and ciders with good price selection and lots of liquid. We luckily stumbled upon a live performance evening and the guitarist was so talented! Ordered a marionberry cider and throughly enjoyed. read more

Food is slow to arrive but good. Drinks menu is awesome and the merch, though spendy, is great!! The hats are crappy and cheap but t shirts are best in town! read more

Really cool place! Service is awesome and great beer shwag to boot! Staff were incredibly accommodating to our large group, gave us the bundle discounts on all the merchandise we bought even though we did it over two days (we like to think they remembered us for good things). :) A must stop and if you don't leave with at least a beer and sticker, you're doing it wrong! read more

You can't beat Stein's location in Leavenworth. If you can grab a spot outside, you're in the epicenter of peoplewatching (and horse carriage watching, if the timing is right). Stein has a wide range of alcoholic beverages to enjoy. I also appreciate the arcade side of the place - if you get bored sitting and drinking, there's always a video game to play! read more

Super cute place... love the merch... and I could eat the poke bowl everyday! Definitely a stop every time I come to Leavenworth!

Every time we stop in, we ask ourselves, "Why aren't we doing this every time we hit Leavenworth?!?" Most recently, we had a miserable meal upstairs (place that rhymes with Old Lucks), and decided to stop in downstairs at Stein and see what was on tap. Because Stein has like 55 taps! As we were ordering, we saw a small sign by the cash register with specials. 'Funnel Fries' caught our eye! It's exactly what you think - funnel cake in the form of fries! For $5.50 we got a huge plate with chocolate dipping sauce. We paired it with a glass of Chardonnay and a pint of Belching Beaver's Peanut Butter Milk Stout on Nitro! What a way to rebound after a miserable dining experience upstairs. Thanks, Stein! read more

We only tried the pretzel, and it was excellent. Every bit as good, if not better, than Munchen Haus. Great buttery flavor with delicious cheese dip. Well done! read more

So good! Service was a little odd (you scan a QR code and order on your phone) but once we got that sorted it was great. We had the Bavarian platter--excellent. We will be going back! Even the ranch dressing that came with my kids' meal was house made. read more

There are MUCH better places to eat in Leavenworth. Don't waste your time here. Fine for drinks though. Their food is all pre-made. My husband had asked for a minor modification to a sandwich and they said they couldn't do that because everything was pre-made. Yuck! Only thing this place would be good for is drinks and a snack of pretzel and fries. It does have a beerhall vibe with large tables, and a few games. Lots of taps with variety of beers, ciders, wine, and batch cocktails. Our tab was over $80 for one small beer, one cocktail, and food for 2. Considering you order at the counter and the food isn't made to order, that's terrible value. read more

Waited for about 30 min after being told that I would have been advised when a table would come in. Someone else started checking people in and when asked he said that he was the only person who checked in and that He never talked to me. Their beer selection is great. However, they have some real jerks on their staff. One guy told us to get the F*** out at closing time as we were finishing up our beers. We were not making any noise or being obnoxious. Go to Stein if you'd like to be treated like a child. read more

I come to Leavenworth often, but rarely get to hang out or explore the town. I've had Stein bookmarked for quite some time, and I finally got the opportunity to visit! They have a ton of beer on tap, I would assume they have the most handles in Leavenworth with 55! For the non-beer drinkers; they have a decent amount of ciders, sours, and even some wine options. My favorite part of my Stein visit though... the rotisserie chicken! (So good I had it for lunch 2 days in a row!) The skin has a nice flavorful crust, and the chicken was juicy! And talk about a steal, only $10! My husband had the grilled cheese on rosemary focaccia and it was amazing too! Overall, Stein is a great spot for beers and lunch! If you're in town, stop and get the chicken - you can thank me later! read more

The highest prices for the worst food and service of our entire 3 day weekend in town. Extra points if you like sitting in a dark dungeon. There's too many other choices in town for us to darken their door again. read more

Cute outdoor seating with great vibe for the Summer. Quick and easy service using the QR codes on the table to order drinks, and an efficient line inside to order food. There is a very large selection of beers at various sizes and decent price. However, the food was very disappointing. We got a pretzel with a couple beers as a small snack, and it came with house beer cheese. The beer cheese was alright, but the pretzel was very subpar. The pretzel even still had some of the plastic from the packaging on it! Unacceptable to sell microwaved food at a credible establishment. read more

Stein is so cool! Like every business in Leavenworth, it's got the Bavarian theme going on but with a Sasquatch flair. Love their logo and all of their cool merch! When you get to the bar, you're greeted with LITERALLY like sixty beers on tap. It's ridiculous. You can get pints, glasses, mugs, or build your own flight! And the flights are SIX OUNCE POURS, which is crazy. It's a large amount of beer for a small price! I had the Fremont Winter Ale when I was there. It was delicious, if you like darker beers... And I typically don't so that's saying something! All of the bartenders were super personable, genuine, and easy to talk to. They also have a kick ass menu. We didn't eat here, unfortunately. I have a feeling I'm going to be trying it next time I'm in Leavenworth though! read more

By far one, if not the best places to eat in Leavenworth. The atmosphere is awesome, the service was very friendly the beer selection was enormous and the food was amazing. This is my new favorite and will be on the list of "must visit" when in town. Try the Mother Clucker, best spicy chicken sandwich I've ever had! read more

Outdoor seating is well coordinated! You grab a seat outside first and then go inside to order. Depending on how busy they are, they'll bring your items out to you or you'll go back in to pick up. My party was intrigued by the wide variety and sheer number of beers available here, so we went in to check it out. They each got a different beer and all three were pleased with their choice. My husband and I shared a half roast chicken meal with French fries. The other two shared a half chicken dinner, as well as a schnitzel type sandwich. We all enjoyed our food. The chicken was moist and had a good flavor. We sat outside on a picnic table under a tent that had been set up to protect from the sun. It was a relaxing and enjoyable lunch. read more

On a low-key getaway, with my girlfriend. We wandered the streets of Leavenworth until we got hungry. The front seemed inviting so we piled in. The 2 large TV screens displaying the impressive amount of beers on tap was the focus behind the bar. The bar staff and us exchanged friendly banter before ordering. With a food-is-ready beeper , we selected a table. I ordered the schnitzel burger since I'm in Bavaria, and the GF rocked a bratwurst. This place is ehhhh... wanted to try Leavenworth's famous pretzels and I was soooo disappointed. We ordered the yellowfin tuna salad, chicken tenders and fries, and 2 pretzels with beer cheese (not pictured), and hot cocoas. First off, the hot cocoa was disgusting. It was literally hot water with a little bit of cocoa powder and was not sweet at all. The chicken tenders was okay, too salty but I don't know if the Buffalo sauce was homemade but that was good. The yellowfin tuna salad was not special for its price, and to top it off, the pretzels were too salty, and the beer cheese was not my favorite. I think I'll stick to auntie Anne's pretzels instead lol read more

Basic pretzel basic sauce and a long line. I am not sure why every store has a long line, probably sitting down. The stores should have put a sign "you can order and pay online". I picked up in 5 mins. I was impressed by the pretzel at Rhein Haus and I wanted to try another place. This place to compare it was pretty standard nothing impressive. read more

Where do I start? Why haven't I found this place until now? We went there to see one of my brother in laws employees playing there Saturday! They even have bingo on Sundays at 5! read more

Excellent food, friendly and fun servers and a great community atmosphere. I had the Greek salad with falafel and my friend had the chicken gyro, both were excellent. Location is great but it's obvious to us their management is disorganized and inconsiderate of both customers and their own staff. Plenty of beer options though and occasionally they host live music during holiday events. Lunch Time! This place is basically a self serve restaurant...place your order and pay at the bar, seat yourself, then when your buzzer goes off pick up your order at the counter. We ordered he Fish and Chips, Bratwurst plate and a Caesar Salad. The fish was fresh tasting, brat was tasty, and the salad was very fresh and seemed like it was locally grown-very good.
