Yesterday the crew was here for the recent job of removing concrete landing step ( which started to fall apart during the winter) and replacing it with a granite step. Adam recommended topping my retaining wall with bluestone rather than cement. Aesthetically, the entire look is 100% improved in two days of efficient and spotless work by the crew! Chimney looked much better after the work but unfortunately the leaking along the chimney was not fixed and leaked just as badly during the next storm a week later. I tried contacting JS Masonry multiple times afterwards hoping that they could figure out the problem but they never sent anyone out despite saying they would. Less than a year after the project much of the new concrete cap had crumbled off along the edge so obviously there were issues with the work. I get that they're probably quite busy but I don't appreciate a company that doesn't stand behind their work and would not recommend them for chimney repair.
