I had the Ribeye cooked Medium Rare and it was fantastic! Meant to try the Fry Bread but forgot to order it. The Salad Bar was also outstanding. All in all a great experience and great customer service. Drinks were refilled on time and she always came back to check on us. If you're in Page you should give this place a shot! I went here with a group of 6 we enjoyed a good evening together. The atmosphere was good the beer was cold and the salad bar was fresh. the sides were good as well. The steak I had (ribeye) was tasty and tender but there was just one thing to drop it from 5 star to 4 and that was a technique error. The steak should have as at most steak houses been cooked at high heat for a short time. This creates a seal on the meat that keeps juices inside the steak as well as giving the meat a certain mouth feel that is Often looked for. This steak had been cooked at a lower temp for a bit longer. The steak was med rare as ordered but seemed limp. It was easy to cut and chew. As I said it was tender but much of the juice was lost due to the way in which the steak was prepared. All in all a good night out provided by pages newest steak house. read more

My husband and I went to steer89 when they first opened. Got seated but left after 15 minutes. No one ever came to take our drink order. I keep hearing about what good food they have so convinced my husband to give it another try yesterday. The sign says wait to be seated so we waited, and waited. No service at all. Awful service. Waitress didn't say hi- just asked what we wanted. I had to ask for silverware and omg the food: steak was dry and The string beans were covered in Italian dressing which was weird. The only place to eat dinner in Page ! It's rare to go back to a restaurant you first went to IN THE 70's and it's even better than you remember, but this is it ! Wow ! The new family owners have taken this iconic restaurant and made it even better. I was a little hesitant when I read some of the reviews but I took a chance and I am very glad I did. I had the sirloin and my husband had a t bone, I believe this was the best sirloin I have had at any restaurant. The staff was very pleasant and attentive without being overwhelming. As a new restaurant in town we gave it some time to get established before trying it. So last night my kids had taken us to dinner there. We got there around 6, so it wasn't very busy. That didn't last long as people started filling the place. 1st, I had heard the salad bar was great so I ordered the all you can eat salad bar for $8.99 and a side baked potato. Very disappointed in the salad bar. I might as well have ordered a side salad except I don't remember seeing that on the menu. The salad bar consisted of only salad and the usual toppings, cherry tomatoes, onions, olives, cheese, boiled eggs, mushrooms, croutons etc. and dressings. There was a soup that I think was broccoli and beef ( did not look very appealing). There was no cottage cheese, fruit or rolls. All you can eat salad bar has a big thumbs down from me. 2nd, there was only one waitress and 6-8 bus people (mostly kids) needless to say she was running her butt off. There was 3 people seated near us that wasn't even asked if they would like some drinks or told it would be a few minutes before their server could get to them after 20-30 minutes of sitting there they got up and walked out. Came here after getting a tip from our bus driver at Antelope Canyon. Terrible service. But their Navajo taco was delicious. We also had their French dip sandwich and philly cheesesteak sandwich which were both solid. If you're not in a rush, this is a great place to hang out. read more

Everything was fantastic!!! We were a party of 7. Salad bar was excellent! Had several different cuts of steak and all came out great. Great flavor. The French Dip was amazing. Fresh bread and great beef with melted cheese in a delectable au jus. The philly cheese steak was also incredible for the same reason. The Navajo bread was soooooo good. Service was great. DON'T EAT THERE!! My boyfriend and I went there on a Thursday night. It was full so the hostess told us it would be 45 minutes. We said okay and she offered us the bar. The bartender was nice and immediately took care of us. A table opened up so I asked the hostess to sit there. She acted surprised but eventually sat us there. We had already ordered a steak to share and soup/salad bar. The soup/salad bar was AWFUL!!! It was very small and half empty. My bf had soup and I had salad. About 20-30 minutes later my bf said he wasn't feeling well. I called over a waitress, don't even know if it was ours or not, and told her that if the food wasn't ready at that moment, which they'd already told us 45 minutes, then to cancel the order because he was sick. She disappeared and came right back with a steak, even though she could visibly see he wasn't well. He took a few bites and immediately VOMITTED all over the table. A guy came over and started grilling us about what could have caused this....NO CONCERN AT ALL The waitress came over. I told her he was sick and we needed a to-go box please. She brought the check and the box. While I was packing up the $40 meal she immediately came back over and said "is it ready yet?" NO CONCERN FOR bf AT ALL!!!! We were very excited to try this place but it's obvious they only care about their money and not the people who they serve. read more

Our first mistake was asking the waitress for a wine list. She smiled brightly and said we had a choice of one red and one white wine. Alarm bells went off, but we gamely asked for a taste of the red wine which was very weak (think 2 Buck Chuck). So we ordered additional drinks from the bar - the bartender had to look up how to make a Manhattan - and then ordered our three steaks--all different cuts--medium rare. Sadly, all of our steaks were cooked to medium. The salad bar was so-so - the blue cheese dressing was like water. However, our waitress was super attentive, despite having to serve nearly the entire restaurant. We wanted to give this restaurant rave reviews but could not. read more

Steer clear of this place if you want a pleasant experience. Went there about 7:15 on a Monday night which is obviously not a busy time. After waiting 15+ minutes for the waitress to come over we ordered our food. When it comes out both of our steaks had mashed potatoes instead of baked potatoes so waitress says let me bring you out baked potatoes. She comes back and says the kitchen is closing up so no. I ask closing - your open until 9 pm which is straight from the website. Apparently they don't care to update their website with the actual hours. What kind of place doesn't ask you what you want as a substitute but rather just throws something on assuming you aren't going to notice? So at this point waitress realizes this has been an all around bad experience and says she is going to talk to her manager about a discount, comes back with manager said no. Because of the high reviews we were expecting a lot but we were disappointed. Food was just okay. Steak was small and over-cooked. The service was friendly but TERRIBLY SLOW and unorganized. We came in an hour before close and they were not busy. It took forever to get waited on. Waitress almost never came out to check on us. We had to get up and ask for everything. Food took about 25+ minutes to come out after ordering. Again, they were not busy so it didn't make sense. Very underwhelming. read more
