Bad reviews for a reason. I had an EXTREMELY unprofessional experience with Dr. Goytia. Rather than respecting our differing perspectives or engaging in respectful dialogue, this doctor chose to abruptly terminate my son as her patient simply because I did not agree with her and her personal views. Not only is this unethical, it's a complete abandonment of patient care and trust. A physician's duty is to provide medical care -- not to impose personal beliefs or punish patients for independent thinking. Instead, we were dismissed with attitude and a cold shoulder. If you're looking for a doctor who values open-mindedness, critical thinking, and genuine patient care, I STRONGLY suggest you look elsewhere. Overall I give this office a 4 star, in the beginning I was frustrated with how long it would take just to see the doctor but it has improved. We've been coming since about 2023 to see Dr. Mamedov . Best pediatrician at this location in my opinion and we've seen a couple when she has been out of the office. She's caring and listens to your concerns. My son became really sick after starting daycare for the first time at 4 years old and I would not have chosen any other doctor to take care of and diagnose him with asthma due to on going sickness and allergies. We went through a lot and she made accommodation to see us. get x-rays etc. She's a great doctor that truly cares about the health of your child. read more

My daughter is 5 now and has been coming since she was 1. i have had more than one unprofessional experience with Dr. Stone. In which she was stating things about my child were true based or her personal life and the life of the front desk clerk. I came for a Dr. opinion and knowledge, not answers you think apply based of your own child or someone else's. It sounded like she was talking to me like my aunt who thinks she knows everything rather than a medical professional. At one point she even told me hand-foot-and mouth sickness wasnt THAT contagious?? i ended up getting it from my daughter days later. We've been going to Steeplechase Pediatrics for 16 years now but they have seemed to go way downhill in the past couple years. They're either booking way too many appointments for the same day or just not attending to people in a timely manner. For my 3 kids the past 5 visits we have waited over an hour to see the doctor. This was not so bad with my teenagers but with a newborn baby is unacceptable. We have decided to switch pediatricians after being with Steeplechase for 16 years so that should say in itself how fed up we are. read more

Wanted to write a review after seeing the negative ones... I'm quite surprised. We've been patients of Dr Stones for almost 5 months with our first daughter. I could go on about her for hours, not only is she great to our girl, she's amazing to me as a first time mom. She is not pushy about what she thinks, she has a great sense of humor and makes you feel relaxed. Our little girl has received great care, she also doesn't mind my million questions.. she is the reason I finally admitted to having PPD and made sure I'm was able to speak to someone to help me. I could go on and on. The office is also very clean, the staff is very kind and helpful. I was so nervous trying to pick a place to take our baby girl and I couldn't be happier. And getting appointments, or a reply through their app is easy and quick. They have a designated sick area/side of the office which makes me feel better about bringing our baby girl in during cold and flu season. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last experience at this practice. We went in for my daughter's 15 month appointment, and we were rushed through like cattle being herded to slaughter. I was given a packet of forms to fill out while being rushed through her check up. The nurse kept hammering me for her shot records. So as I'm pulling those up, she keeps tell me to undress my child, go to the scale, etc. My question is, if they needed all of this paperwork, why not email it so we could have it completed before we arrived? Secondly, the office is dirty. You can tell they don't clean between patients and likely only do weekly cleans. That's a recipe to get someone very sick They also don't have immunizations like flu and COVID. You have to leave and make an appointment with a different office for that. Finally, they don't have you complete the ASQ3 15 month questionnaire. Instead of doing the assessment, they just ask a blanket statement "is the child where they need to be". How are we suppose to know? The entire time I felt rushed. It was frustrating and disappointing. I will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

I do not recommend Fulshear location to well checks or vaccination. They do not really monitor the well and sick sides. We came for flue shots and had to wait in a small area with a family of 3 kids who were obviously sick sneezing and coughing on the well side. It was a bad experience! read more

We love Dr. Stones! She's fun with the kids and cares a lot. She takes time to chat and get to know them. Remembers their issues from visit to visit. Accessible by email and phone for questions. The front staff could use some training on being more welcoming and friendly, and that's something I see consistently in these reviews. I went here as a child to see Dr Herman, totally loved him and my daughter was his "grand" patient until he retired. We switched to Dr Bielamowicz after seeing him for an urgent visit. Told me he needed another covid test and a chest x ray. Only to get x rays that showed nothing. He was never even complaining about his chest or shortness of breath. They are thorough and really care. You can always get a same day appointment. I am honestly so surprised at the negative reviews. I hope my review comforts every parent with trust and knowing this is the best place to take your little ones. For years, I have taken my now 8 month old to Texas Children's Pediatrics as well as my 6 year old. My 8 month old has had 4 ear infections back to back. My doctor at Texas Children's just kept putting her on antibiotics and instructed us to see an ENT, couldn't even recommend one and said they are all good. One night, my 8 month old had a high fever, Texas Children's instructed us over the phone to just go to the emergency room. We went to the emergency room and after $400 and three hours later, the doctor there said it's viral and left us with antibiotics. I called a good friend of mine the morning of, she said that does not sound right and to go see her doctor, Doctor Rahman. We called the office, they were able to see us same day. Doctor Rahman could not believe they did not put my daughter on breathing treatments and gave her an antibiotic shot so she can feel better. (My daughter has been coughing, wheezing, fever on and off for weeks) Within three days, my daughter can finally sleep, she is still congested, but a night and day difference! Her oxygen levels have increased and just a happy baby! Also, at another clinic we used to see Doctor Lee, we were so sad when we moved because it was over an hour drive and he is also just an amazing, knowledgeable, caring doctor like Doctor Rahman. Just found out he is now a doctor here!! I cannot speak for all the doctors here, but Doctor Rahman and Doctor Lee are the best and the reason why I will continue to trust them when it comes to my babies health. My young sister went saw Dr. Garza as she was growing up, and I remember how much my mom loved him. So with the birth of my new twins, my wife and I decided Steeplechase was the place to go. Dr. Garza had a full schedule when the first of our babies was discharged from the hospital, so we were given an appointment with Dr. Stones. I was initially hesitant, but she was absolutely awesome! We are going back for our two week check up tomorrow and we are very excited to hear what she has to say. The office is clean, the staff is friendly, and overall we are just very pleased. I do not recommend Dr. Naheed Rahman at Steeplechase Pediatrics. I personally feel she doesn't care for her patients. Here's my story. My son has been a patient of Dr. Rahmans since birth. He is 4 years old now. From July 2019 to October 2019 he was ill with several different kinds of "viral/bacterial infections". Most were targeting his ears, tonsils and adenoids. We went to the pediatricians office multiple times trying to figure out what was going on with our son. Dr. Rahman kept prescribing different antibiotics and nothing was working. When I told her that he was now having difficulty breathing and that his lymph nodes were so swollen and not going down in size she just kept saying it was probably allergies and to give him honey and claritin. She also referred us to an ENT. We went to the ENT and were told he needed his adenoids and tonsils removed as well as ear tubes placed. We went ahead with the procedure. Three days after the procedure my sons health deteriorated. He spiked a 103 fever so we went to the pediatricians office. Dr. Rahman was in the office but was unable to see us, so we saw Dr. Justin Bielamowicz. He took one look at my son and said he was extremely pale and ordered a blood test. While we were waiting for the results Dr. Rahman came in and was surprised to see us there. We were talking for a little bit when the other doctor came in and told us he is sending an ambulance to take my son to the ER! Turns out his hemoglobin was dangerously low! Dr. Rahman was nowhere in sight at this point. My son was brought through the clinic and waiting room in the stretcher and out to the ambulance. Long story short, after a few other tests my son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I am angry that Dr. Rahman misdiagnosed my son and I'm so confused as to why a blood test was never done on my son while he was in her care. The one thing that makes me more furious than the actual misdiagnosis is the fact that Dr Rahman has not called us ONCE to see how my son is doing. Again, she has seen him since he was an infant! We have however recieved calls from Dr. Bielamowicz and the nurse we had that day with kind words and prayers for our boy. It seems Dr. Rahman doesn't truly care about her patients. We have had such a terrible experience that we will be seeing a different pediatrician at a different location. Please do what's right for your child and DO NOT see Dr. Naheed Rahman. read more

It pains me to write this because I have personal friends that work here but I was so disappointed with my last visit I feel compelled to write this review. First of all the person I met at the counter while checking in my daughter was unpleasant, disinterested, non-engaging, and just plain rude! I can't remember the last time I was treated so bluntly...."I need to see your insurance....that will be $25....go wait in the waiting area and your will be called shortly". No smile, no pleasantries...nothing. Wow...horrible first impression. We were called into the back about 5 minutes after our appointment was scheduled so no big deal here. After the typical weight and temp check we were told the Dr. would be with us shortly. After waiting in the room for ONE FULL HOUR I decided to walk down the hall and ask how much longer the wait would be. They all stared at me as if I was out of line for even asking. I expressed my displeasure and disappointment with the service.....that I was there on time and felt I had given them plenty of time if they were running late to get caught up. They assured me the Dr. would be with me shortly. After another few minutes another Dr. (not the one we had scheduled to see) came into our room and treated my daughter. I would like to say this was an isolated incident but unfortunately it has become the standard practice here. After consulting with my wife, she explained to me that waiting up to an hour in the small room was normal. I personally find it unacceptable. I'm now looking/researching for a new pediatrician for my three kids. Looking for someone interested in taking care of patience and not just pushing bodies through a clinic. Sad. read more

We used to come to this location to see Dr.McConkey since my first son was born in July 2013. I had picked this doctor due to the insurance I had at that time and proximity to home as well. In the beginning, there were some things I didn't like but the experience was okay. This doctor seems very inexperienced in my opinion and doesn't really say much or show concern for concerns discussed at any appointment. If you bring up a concern, she tends to brush it off as nothing and keeps telling you to follow up if it doesn't get any better. All this being said, the wait times at that time were pretty good, in an out in about 30-45 mins and appointment availability was also really good especially with the NPs. You could then get a same day appointment. But as time went on, the service became extremely poor, the receptionists were very cold and dry, the nurses treated everyone like cattle, the MAs rushed through vaccinations, wait times skyrocketed, and the doctors lack of experience just all became unbearable. Dr.McConkey not only brushed off my concerns once, but multiple times with both of my children. In 2016, when my second son developed a rash that she could not successfully diagnose, I took matters into my own hands and thankfully got a second opinion with another pediatrician recommended to me by a coworker who was able to immediately diagnose and treat my sons condition! Not only did Dr.McConkey give us the run around making us come in and pay office visit copays multiple times, but she then ended up referring us to a specialist who not only didn't treat pediatric patients, but also wasn't accepting new patients at all! The only thing nice about this office is the decor, other than that, the more offices they have been opening, the worse the service has gotten. And boy I am glad I have left this practice! If you are looking for a pediatrician whose office treats you like a number, you like sitting with your naked child in an exam room for up to 1 hour and a half with the doctor sitting outside on the computer the entire time, you enjoy spending many copays on missed diagnosis, and not ever being able to get a same day appointment with an NP or your physician ? Then this may be the office for you! read more

My daughter is a young mother and I can tell she takes extra time for my daughter's sake and she lets her know what a good mother she is. She tells her what a good job she's doing. And it's true. And judging by the already low ratings across the board, it looks like most of you are, but I just have to give my experience to validate the others of how truly terrible this place is. I had my son a little over a year ago and I picked this place because it was close to home. No shocker there. Wasn't aware that Goytia spent her time between two locations - this one and the one near/on 1960. Went in for one of my son's follow up and habitually went to the one near my house. Also the only one I had ever gone to. Try to check in and wasn't found in the system, in which they told me I had scheduled it at the other location and need to go there. These two are MAYBE 10 minutes door to door. So I'm calling her office while en route and the receptionist tells me that Goytia won't see me. Confused because I still have 5 minutes until my appointment time, I said, "excuse me?" She went on to tell me VERBATIM, "Goytia feels like you should be able to figure out which location to be at and be on time." I was appalled. Not sure if that really was the Dr's words, or the receptionist didn't get her donuts and was pissed at the world, but whomever it was can kiss my ass. I'll make sure not a single friend, acquaintance or anyone I see in merely passing will give their business to this place. See ya! read more

I am giving a 1 Star because of Dr. Veronica Goytia who is very rude, condescending, and does not care about the pain she was causing my daughter for a boil. She was very intimidating and never asked me for my opinion. I have experience with these and knew it was not ready however this doctor that we were seeing since our regular Pediatrician was not in today insisted we pursue with anguishing pain while my daughter was screaming in severe pain. This doctor did not care but I had to step in and tell her to stop. When I did she was even more rude and threw it in my face that she was writing "parent declines treatment". Like trying to intimidate me. Will not be returning!!!!! What a shame of a so called doctor. read more

Dr Herman has been our pediatrician for almost 5 years and we have had wonderful experiences. Yes there are times when we have had to wait a little longer than my 3 year old wants to but I have also been on the other end where I have had to rush my kids in there with an emergency and they fit is in and immediately saw us. My grandson had his 18 month immunizations and can't even move his legs without screaming. Dr Mario Garza said he needs to be screened because he thinks he's slow because he's not speaking full sentences. He did say that his head shape is perfect after saying he needed a helmet when he was a few months old. We will never go back there and definitely NOT recommend anyone to go there either. read more

The only good experiences we have had here have been with nurse practitioners. We have been at Steeplechase for a very long time. My daughter 's first visit was as a newborn and our most recent visit was today , Aug 5 2020 age of 14. We first visited when the clinic was a single location at the steeplechase area on 1960; I really enjoyed when they were this small because quality control is easier . They expanded and moved to 1960 near 290; this location was my favorite and the decor was gorgeous with fish themes to honor their first location that had a huge and expensive very well kept fish tank . This clinic was relocated due to construction trouble that plagues this area. They moved to the HHC on Huffmeister but before then, they also opened up skinner location which is also well kept yet bit smaller. I have held appts at all locations because the Drs work at all locations. The clinics are always clean and the front dest very professional. Throughout all these changes, Dr. Herman has always been attentive, very professional and always asks the right questions and gives wonderful advice . Over the years he has adapted and stays current on how to interact with modern people and situations in the Med Field. His advice through the years really helped me as a young and first time Mom. My daughter who is now 14 feels at ease and enjoys her visits with her Pediatrician. He takes the time to listen to her , now gives her great advice and encouragement, especially needed due COVID. I strongly recommend Dr. Herman, his strengths are many and is a great asset to a family. My only suggestions would be for the MA's to work on the bedside manner, be more personable and communicate with the Patient more not just the Mother, especially when the kid is older such as mine. read more

My daughters appointment was at 10 and she didn't get seen by doctor till 11. When I asked front desk at 1030 what was taking so long they told me my insurance was showing inactive and it would be self pay....it took them 30 minutes to tell me this and I had to ask them first? Ended up paying and getting reimbursed from my insurance since for some reason Steeplchase was seeing my insurance as in active. This office needs more office staff....will not be coming back. read more

We recently moved to Katy and had to go to another Doctor b/c of time constraints of driving thirty minutes and realized that was a huge mistake.
