Dr Tran is the absolute best. I love how she interacts with me and my chIldren. She is the ultimate pediatric physician. This doctors office is clean, efficient and such a pleasant environment. I love they have a sick side and aa checkup well side. Kids are so vulnerable and it's seems they get it. Kids coming in for the well checkup shouldn't be exposed close up to kids with the flu or contagious sickness. They have separate waiting rooms. The wait time is very short when you make an appointment. I love this new doctors office for my kids. I highly recommend it.

We absolutely love the staff and Dr. Townsend! We've been going for over two years and never had a bad experience with anyone in the office!

I am honestly so surprised at the negative reviews. I hope my review comforts every parent with…read moretrust and knowing this is the best place to take your little ones. For years, I have taken my now 8 month old to Texas Children's Pediatrics as well as my 6 year old. My 8 month old has had 4 ear infections back to back. My doctor at Texas Children's just kept putting her on antibiotics and instructed us to see an ENT, couldn't even recommend one and said they are all good. One night, my 8 month old had a high fever, Texas Children's instructed us over the phone to just go to the emergency room. We went to the emergency room and after $400 and three hours later, the doctor there said it's viral and left us with antibiotics. I called a good friend of mine the morning of, she said that does not sound right and to go see her doctor, Doctor Rahman. We called the office, they were able to see us same day. Doctor Rahman could not believe they did not put my daughter on breathing treatments and gave her an antibiotic shot so she can feel better. (My daughter has been coughing, wheezing, fever on and off for weeks) Within three days, my daughter can finally sleep, she is still congested, but a night and day difference! Her oxygen levels have increased and just a happy baby! Also, at another clinic we used to see Doctor Lee, we were so sad when we moved because it was over an hour drive and he is also just an amazing, knowledgeable, caring doctor like Doctor Rahman. Just found out he is now a doctor here!! I cannot speak for all the doctors here, but Doctor Rahman and Doctor Lee are the best and the reason why I will continue to trust them when it comes to my babies health. So thank you both!

Responsive to little or big issues, easy to see, on point in diagnosis, and great bedside. On the 3-4 occasions that needed a deeper specialist she was quick to refer. Dr Nguyen, nurse Kelley & sarah are honestly the best peds staff I've ever seen. ( there is another…read morenurse that sees us but her name has escaped me and she is very sweet as well) My daughter had a ton of issues when she was real little ( ended up with ear tubes placed) so there for a while we were always in for high fevers, and ear infections etc. Sarah the triage NP is honestly the best. She is very thorough & always fits us in if we need to be seen and always makes me feel heard & she comes out to see my daughter when we are there and my daughter runs to her and gives her hugs. Nurse kelley is the sweetest person & my daughter adores her. She always remembers us, and her & my daughter talk like they are best friends. That doesn't sound huge until you are a mom, and you see your kid light up. ( my daughter is 2.5 so the fact she remembers her speaks volumes to who kelley is as a person) and I know we are not "special" in any way. They are just that amazing of humans - not just at their jobs. Dr Nguyen is truly amazing. There is nothing I can't ask or be honest about. She always gives us solid advice & real world answers not just its time to start potty training and then nothing else. She gave me idea for books, dolls, particularly potties etc for me to use to help. She is a mom not just a doctor and she makes me feel understood and heard. She also remembers me & my daughter and not just things you can put in the chart. Even the billing person who I can't think of her name at the moment but came to talk to us about the changes in our insurance plan when it changed at the beginning of the year. Which I really appreciated that they wanted us to be aware of our insurance plan. I thought that went above & beyond the Standard care. She was an amazing human as well. Extremely sweet & gave my daughter a sticker & bubbles. Which happens to be a fan fave at our house, and she remembered it. My daughter was sick with a high fever and I told her we were going to see the doctor's office... and she said yayyyy the doctor's office! She had been in a terrible mood ( she is 2.5 so everything was just awful in her opinion) so it's just a testament of who these women are to our family when even a sick baby realizes they are good ones. She thinks they are her friends, and I happen to agree with her. I do feel like I get to see some friends when we go in. They are always very fast. Efficient. Very thorough. And I have never felt rushed. They always fit us in. So not only the staff we interact with, but their front office have to be stellar at their jobs as well. We have seen other drs in this office when Dr Nguyen was out, or booked & we have really liked all the other staff as well. I think they are amazing at their jobs, and amazing humans as well. I appreciate everything they do for our family.

First, I would like to say that the front office staff is not very organized. I had to fill out…read moreinformation for my children to be moved over to their practice twice. At our visit, they still had not faxed over our request to transfer from our old pediatrician. This to me shows that they are not really thorough in their procedures or care. Secondly, I have a tween and they gave them paperwork about feelings of suicide for them to do on their own. Our old pediatrician never gave us paperwork like that and it made my child wonder why they would give them that. I understand that mental health is important and should be discussed, however I am not wanting that idea to be introduced to my child at such a impressionable age especially if they are not going through something like that. The experience with the nurse was great. She seemed caring and proactive about getting my child's information moved over. She gets 5 stars! Dr Nguyen. I believe we had seen before for we decided to switch over with a different/younger child and felt that her care was great, however this visit was different (not sure if it was because we have a tween). She made a comment about medication that my child was taking and made me feel that it wasn't ok. I asked Dr Nguyen if it was ok (prescribed by previous pediatrician) and she said, yes. Then she asked my child if they wanted to ask her anything or say anything with me not in the room. When we declined getting the flu shot, I had to fill out paperwork saying that I was given the option and declined. Again, these are things that we have never experienced at our old pediatrician especially on a first visit. It felt very sterile and that parents are not the ones making choices for their own children in my opinion. Also the extra paperwork about suicide, asking her things with me not in the room, and paperwork declining the flu shot just put me off. With all this to say, I'm considering staying at our old pediatrician and doing the drive because there I felt heard as a parent and my child's care was most important.
