My toddler wondered what was wrong with her after she noticed that she was not kind; it was very obvious. After waiting over 40 minutes for the doctor, I decided to leave- but the doctor was about to come into our exam room. While she was the only one to apologize, the other staff did not acknowledge the delay when I walked out into the hall to inquire during the wait. It was like they didn't care about us, and there was absolutely no respect for my time. After the doctor finished, we had to wait another 15 minutes for the shots my toddler needed. A person without any ID or tag came in with another person whom she said was "shadowing" her. When I asked her who she was because she was not dressed as a staff person (sloppy gray t-shirt) and had no ID, she said she was an MA. Meanwhile, all if the nurses were saying goodbye for the day (it was now 4:50pm). My toddler became unsettle with these new people and was uncomfortable getting her shots. The doctor and staff know that my toddler is uneasy about shots but didn't care. So after all of that, we left. This was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. We were mishandled and treated poorly. I do not recommend this location. Texas Children's Hospital system should do better. And get rid of the unfriendly, scary nurse!!!!

We were pleasantly surprised to receive exceptional care from day 1 from Dr. Townsend. On top of that, administration and all support staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. In response to recent negations with BCBS, the staff sent an incredibly helpful and transparent email detailing options for patients to either choose to self pay or reschedule. They addressed all potential concerns openly and candidly, which was so helpful in a confusing time. We would hate to lose access to this wonderful office to care for our daughter, and hope BCBS and MH negotiations come to an agreement soon so we can return to our trusted pediatric home!

The receptionist was looking at me while I was trying to come in at 6:45am. She finally opened the doors at 6:55am since there was a line of people waiting to come in. -- I have a new PCP and today's visit was my first with her. This is the first doctor at Kelsey that I find to actually listen and care about my health in YEARS! I am totally shocked.

There's no experimentation is any of his treatments, he is to the point and will call you on what you shouldn't be doing. He gives his best and expects his patients to follow through, otherwise, what's the point in seeking his medical advise and consult if neither patients/parents heeds to his advise. Whenever I needed a school form, they handled it quickly with no back-and-forth. What truly makes this office stand out is Dr. Gandre. Not only is this unethical, it's a complete abandonment of patient care and trust. A physician's duty is to provide medical care -- not to impose personal beliefs or punish patients for independent thinking. Instead, we were dismissed with attitude and a cold shoulder. If you're looking for a doctor who values open-mindedness, critical thinking, and genuine patient care, I STRONGLY suggest you look elsewhere. She is very thorough & always fits us in if we need to be seen and always makes me feel heard & she comes out to see my daughter when we are there and my daughter runs to her and gives her hugs. Nurse kelley is the sweetest person & my daughter adores her. She always remembers us, and her & my daughter talk like they are best friends. That doesn't sound huge until you are a mom, and you see your kid light up. ( my daughter is 2.5 so the fact she remembers her speaks volumes to who kelley is as a person) and I know we are not "special" in any way. They are just that amazing of humans - not just at their jobs. Dr Nguyen is truly amazing. There is nothing I can't ask or be honest about. She always gives us solid advice & real world answers not just its time to start potty training and then nothing else. She gave me idea for books, dolls, particularly potties etc for me to use to help. She is a mom not just a doctor and she makes me feel understood and heard. She also remembers me & my daughter and not just things you can put in the chart. Even the billing person who I can't think of her name at the moment but came to talk to us about the changes in our insurance plan when it changed at the beginning of the year. Which I really appreciated that they wanted us to be aware of our insurance plan. I thought that went above & beyond the Standard care. She was an amazing human as well. Extremely sweet & gave my daughter a sticker & bubbles. Which happens to be a fan fave at our house, and she remembered it. My daughter was sick with a high fever and I told her we were going to see the doctor's office... and she said yayyyy the doctor's office! She had been in a terrible mood ( she is 2.5 so everything was just awful in her opinion) so it's just a testament of who these women are to our family when even a sick baby realizes they are good ones. She thinks they are her friends, and I happen to agree with her. I do feel like I get to see some friends when we go in. They are always very fast. Efficient. Very thorough. And I have never felt rushed. They always fit us in. So not only the staff we interact with, but their front office have to be stellar at their jobs as well. I have a sick child to be seen and apparently the parent has to be present if your child hasn't been there in 3 years. Would've been a good policy to know beforehand especially when I've been going here for 10 years and now you tell me. Some people have work and can't be present. Ridiculous. So i brushed it off and was ready to check out. Brittany is the person who assisted me. She took her sweet time and had me waiting for at least 15 mins. My kids were tired . I do not recommend this person to be assisting people because she is very unprofessional. My daughter said when i walked away after taking my receipt, Brittany gave me a horrible look.
