I'm writing this review to express my concerns with my interactions with Dr. M Graham. I picked…read morethis doctor because I am black and I wanted to receive help from a doctor that looked like me. But mins after interacting with her, I started to regret picking a doctor solely off of color due to the cold and annoyed responses I received from Dr. M Graham the entire time. Mind you, I've done this before in other cities and the black doctors have been AMAZING. But the difference with all the other black doctors I went too, they had conversation with me and showed their passion for their job as well as their passion to make sure I'm well. I'm a Program Manager at a health insurance company and my team job is to educate patients about their benefits so they know the importance of following up with their Family Medicine doctor/ Internal Medicine doctor / Primary Care doctor to prevent them from readmitting to the hospital. But when a doctor is cold and makes you feel like you're getting on their nerves, I can see why to this day patients aren't comfortable speaking up for themselves. Doctors and Providers have to do better with creating environments where questions are welcomed because the patient should be invested in their care because that patient is the only one responsible for ensuring they take all the action items needed! I personally did ask all my follow up questions because I know I am in charge of my health and following whatever I need to do for myself. But I did take a few notes to make sure I was able to share with the office manager the interaction I had with this woman as a new patient. I'm leaving two stars solely because the scheduling team was nice and the front desk staff at the Fairfield location was nice and did recommend I see Dr. N Brown the next visit. But do not book with her if ask questions and would like to be sure of the information you received. Do not book an appointment with her if you expect your doctor to be friendly while you interact with them. Do not book with her if you expect to actually feel like the doctor kind of care about the concerns you bring. Do not book with her if you're not okay with someone slapping their hands on the countertop due to your follow up question about your medication. It's sad to say this because all these things in the last paragraph a patient should feel comfortable doing. But I was told that is just her personality so it seems like patients have complained and but it is what it is with her. This is the service you will be paying for.

I went to this location at 4:30 PM on 11/14/2021 my first time. My daughter was sick. I was greeted…read moreby the receptinist and provided all of the necessary information and sat down on the waiting area. About 15 minutes later the receptionist called me and told me that I need it to go to back to the parking lot and sit down in my car because the wait was going to be 1.5 hours or longer. I was surprise by such request considering that they were only 2 -3 people also at the wait area. So I asked her why in my car? She again repeated her request to wait in my car, by now her reply was in a different tone of voice. I said to her that this was the first time that I ever heard such request. So I asked her if she have that on writing or posted some were. At that moment she became very upset and started yelling to me the following "Okay sir sit down anywhere you want". I told her that she was very disrespectful and that I need it to speak to her supervisor which by the way she was not there. Eventually one of the head nurses came to me and I explained the situation. She responded that thereasons the ask you to wait in the car was because of COVID. I replied by saying that the receptionist never said or mentioned when I asked why. I told them that they need it to have that type of request posted somewhere in the lobby area for people to see it and avoid this type of issues. Do not always to people to comply with such request. Bottom line receptionists need to be properly train on their job description and most of all on the "DO & DON'T of her position. Clearly this person was out of line. Almost 3 hours later my daughter was evaluated and prescriptions were given. Before I left I again requested to have the office manager to contact me. UPDATE: Today I was contacted by Mrs. Megan and again I explained what transcribed that day. She expressed her apologies and said that this particular receptionist was a filler on that day. I explained to Mrs. Megan that this type of employees are not good for their business don't matter how good the doctors and nurses are at that location, they will damage the business and their reputation. I hope that Mrs. Meagan can make the time to insure that their present or temporary receptionists are train and have a clear understanding of their boundaries and the "Do & Don't involve in their capacities to avoid loss of business and fewer complaints. Overall on the medical part they did the job that was expected. Thank you for that. Also thank you Mrs Megan for contacting me and for listening. Your job is not easy, but when you in charge "you are in charge", everything that goes wrong on the staff or office operations, it will reflect on you. State clearly your office standards and procedures and enforce them when necessary.

Now my whole family is sick and they aren't taking responsibility. DO NOT COME HERE !

I've been going to this place for the last couple of years and I should've stop coming here. I've…read morenever had a doctor that's so hard to set up an appointment with. I thought that your doctor works for you and not the other way around. Then when you finally get there, you had to wait for more than 30 minutes, yet when you're 5-10 minutes late they cancel your appointment and tell you to set up another time which is two months from the day of your appointment. His staff are also unprofessional, the people at McDonalds have a better personality than this person that wears a scrub at the front desk. The only reason why I had chosen this place was Bc it's close to my house, but I think I might just go back to my old doctor in Summerwood, Dr. Castillo is a very good doctor and actually cares about his patients plus his staff are professional and kind. They're about 40 minutes away from Cypress but that's ok I'll drive there if I know I'll get a better service. I am currently sitting here waiting, my appointment is 10:45, it is now 11:13. Any time now??? This is definitely going to be the last time I'll be coming here. If you're needing a family doctor try to find another one that will suit you better. This place surely does not do for me. I hate leaving not so good review but I'm not going to lie to my co-customers.

Luckily, despite the doctor confirming my thought on needing my knee replacement, we did some treatment, and i was able to see results almost immediately. no need for surgery for a while... i may get another 2 knee treatments in before i have to have the surgery, thats fine with me.
