I was told if you do NOT have all shots up to date they will NOT accept the patient. Which we are all updated. And if you do NOT wish to receive upcoming shots They will not accept you as a patient neither. Ps. No one time visit here. They motto is Stay away if you don't plan to come everyday. No thank you. Side detail note: I've been told before people are treated differently depending on the insurance ( government assistance or private). I have private insurance and still don't give you the option to opt out vaccinations for you child. Which that don't matter anyway. Everyone has the right to choose for their children. I have no idea how this place has 4.5 starts. I'll start off my saying the nurses are nice and the doctor was nice. What a shit show from the beginning. When they call your name to go to the back they never know which room to put you in. They are like go to room 3 no go to room 5 no nvm go to room 1. THEN they say undress baby and I'll be back. 10 minutes later they come back then bring you to A DIFFERENT room to take weight and O2 levels then bring you into a DIFFERENT room. Like holy musical rooms. Tbh I hate undressing my toddler it's so unnecessary her thin shirt and pants won't make a difference. Anyway. You will wait over 30 minutes to see a doctor. More like an hour in this tiny room with your toddler. The cabinets aren't baby proffer so my toddler was into everything. Probably got sick just waiting for a well visit. She tore the room apparat waiting in this small room for 40 minutes. She had a poop in her diaper I changed it and was told to TAKE THE POOP DIAPER WITH ME. Wtf? Is this not a pediatric office. It took over an hour for my doctor to look in my daughters ears to say they look fine. I could have went to an urgent care faster. Don't take me back to the tiny room to sit and wait for 40+ m on top of the fact that they are SUPER serious about vaccines. If you are someone that wants flexibility with that- this is NOT your office Will not be back ever again. read more

The office is tidy and the front desk staff is kind, however that did not make up for the pushiness of the Doctor. Dr. Patel was ready to shove a shot needle in my kids' arms as we were walking out the door after waiting on paperwork to be transferred over. (We recently had moved and thus the search for a new doc) Then proceeded to call me to make sure I was coming back in for the shot I didn't allow her to give either child as we were literally leaving the office. Took my daughter here today for her 11years old wellness check up and I have to say the staff her is so sweet and really helpful. I had trouble getting my daughter medical records and short records and they were so patient with me and really help calling two other office that my daughter have been to to get her medical history. Dr. Patel is really nice and sweet too, my daughter says she really like this office. We were currently a patient from Texas Children's Pediatric Cinco Ranch and I just got tired of the mean front staff and the long wait on the phone and in addition to that we are never in the back at our appointment time. Always a 20-40 wait on the phone then another 30-45 min at their waiting area. Overall, I am so pleased to find this new pediatric clinic, no waits at all. Unfortunately, CR Pediatrics abruptly closed its doors without notice to its patients and we were disparately in search of another pediatrician. I love this clinic! Dr. Nagda and Dr. Patel are amazing. They really care about their little patients. They listen, are diligent, punctual, professional and KNOWLEDGEABLE! They don't typically accept walk ins for first time visit but I got here ready to camp out in hopes of maybe filling in a last minute cancellation. I was seen and helped. This place was nice and everyone was so very friendly and helpful. Great experience. I didn't give 5 stars because my daughter had an allergic reaction and was put on a steroid (by CVS minute clinic) which helped dramatically with the swelling. the doc said just give Benadryl, to put cortisone and cold compress... This doesn't usually help with my daughters previous experiences with bug bites, but I understand that is the routine. read more

I was not even able to Schedule appointment for my child, before scheduling an appointment they require you to fill out a new patient form online. On my device I was only given a printable copy to bring in person, which does not ensure that appointment. So since I was not able to do the online enrollment I was basically denied an appointment, unless I drove an hour away to drop off paperwork that may not even ensure my child an appointment ! read more

I scheduled an appointment with the receptionist who was very nice. I advised that I was bringing my son in for a ADHD med check. I provided her with all of my insurance information etc. The appointment was scheduled for 3:40; thus I had to pick my son up early from school. When the doctor came in, she asked if I had the paperwork for his diagnosis. I explained that I had it in my email and at that very moment I forwarded her all of the paperwork. I also signed a release for her office to retrieve his records from the previous practice. Dr. Patel left the room for about 5 minutes and upon her return advised that she was not going to write a script without seeing his prior records. I informed her that he only had 3 pills left and that I was under the impression, based upon my conversation with the receptionist, that I would be leaving with a prescription. This is common practice as I have switched doctors 2 times in the last year due to relocating with my employer. Dr. Patel also advised that she did not know how long it would take to receive the records from the previous doctor. I asked her if it could potentially take a week or two. She stated, "it is possible if the previous practice does not send it in a timely fashion." So she expected me to go without my child's prescription for a TBD amount of time. Who does that? Long story short, Dr. Patel completely wasted my time, after I pulled my son out of school early. She advised that I could reschedule for another date once the records were in but I politely declined. I do not recommend this practice as her bedside manner is subpar at best. read more

We visited Dr. Patel's office recently when my son's cough didn't get better after a week of OTC meds and multiple interrupted nights of sleep. We contacted her office early a.m. and her staff worked us in to the schedule that morning. They were courteous and sympathetic to our needs and Dr. Patel was great! The office atmosphere was comfortable, clean and welcoming. We were in a room shortly after we walked in and out the door in a timely manner. Later that afternoon, I had an afterthought so I contacted their office and after being on hold for a short time, Dr. Patel took my call personally! I was visiting Houston and my child became sick. I called my insurance company and they recommend them. After my company sent them all our documents and got the approval I called to make the appointment. This is when the nightmare happened. They told me that they are not taking one time clients. I explained that I have been seeming documents and working on this for the last 4 hours and you make an exception as I will be back to Houston soon for Work again. They said no. Finding a pediatrician that I AND my wife trust is a priority in my house. My wife wants a pediatrician that has a great bedside manner, listens to their parents and patients, and has office staff that is professional, courteous, and respectful. I, being an academic pediatrician, want someone who uses evidence to make medical decisions and always thinks of what is best for their patients. Being a pediatrician to a pediatrician's kid can be very intimidating, but Dr. Patel far better than what I am looking for in a pediatrician. Needless to say, I and my wife have found want we both want in Dr. Patel. I do not hesitate to recommend Dr. Patel to anyone. There is a new doctor in the house! We have been seeing Dr. Patel and she is great, however, recently we have seen Dr. Nagda a few times and we are pleased with how she is around our little ones. We have three girls (5, 2 and 5 months) and with flu season here, we have been the office a lot this week. Dr. Nagda is very gentle and sweet and my girls loved her. I am always hesitant to try a new doctor after getting comfortable with one but in this case, we are happy with both providers. read more

We also came from CRP and she is patient, kind, attentive, cautious, thoughtful, wonderful with both of my children. My son is on the Spectrum and is now 6 yrs old and my daughter is now 14. Both of my children love Dr. Patel and we are currently in MN but unless there is an emergency, we will fly back as needed. She has full authority to make decisions for our children even here in MN bc all I would do is call her for her sage advice & follow her recomendation without question, where to go and she is so smart I know she will make the right decisions for our children. My husband and I trust her implicitly. Perhaps her quiet manner is offsetting to some but I look at it as deep in thought, not quick to any diagnosis. This is called "processing" but she is usually quick as a whip. When my daughter had her "teen" check up Dr. Patel asked a question I was not comfortable with (my daughter was completely comfortable with this new "teen" checkup" but I knew it was only out of concern for my daughter and after a quick silent reaction, I understood that completely. It's her job and she wouldn't have so many great ratings if she didn't do her job. When you find a good Pediatrician, especially one that is as amazing as her, hold on tight. 100% trust even cross country temporarily. I don't understand any negative comments as my son's main problem is ADHD and we give Dr. Patel access to any records she requests. His psychologist recommended not medicating him and we were thankful but if he did need medication rest assured it would not be at the last minute with no open records. Need I say any more? Maybe, ALL good doctors are blunt bc they are trained throughout the years to think fast, process fast but do no harm. read more

I have been looking for a pediatrician like Dr. Patel for years since my insurance changed and I could not be happier that I found this office. Making an appointment or asking a question over the phone is so easy. The staff is always genuinely polite and quick to answer questions. They call back when they say they will, which is a huge relief when you're dealing with a sick child. Dr. Patel is honest and upfront with an amazing bed side manner.
