EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT SKIP THIS POST i encountered a crazy phlebotomist this afternoon when i took my 5 years old to get her blood work done at this clinic. there was only 1 phlebotomist inside this clinic and i noticed she had a bitchy bad attitude many times but let it go until what happened this afternoon again, she raised her voice, started disrespected me and yelling blaming the reason she could not draw blood out of my child because of me, because of my child..blah blah blah . and when i saw my child was crying hurting after the first time she fail withdrawing blood, i told her to stop putting her hand on my child. she bended my child arm when the needle was inside i don't know if needle broke inside now my child still in pain and got bruise. however, after i refused her to draw blood, she went off all crazy yelling all over the clinic, pointing finger threaten me and more important she started discriminated me saying " you stupid asian don't deserve to be here in this country" can anyone believe a professional place with professional job like her can do this to patient's parents?? read more

I called 3 mornings in a row, cause I believe in giving people a second chance and I waited on hold for 13-15 minutes each time. On the first time I called, a woman picked up at about the 13 min mark and thanked me for calling. I told her I wanted to make an appointment and then she put me back on hold. I have been taking my kids here to see Dr. Haney for 9 years & we absolutely love Dr. Haney. When my daughter was born 4 yrs ago she came to see us at the hospital late at night before she went home. She takes her time, she's very caring and detailed. The only reason why I didn't give the clinic a 5 stars is because you often have to wait more than an hr to be seen. It has improved lately but it is still an issue. Also, Dr. Haney only works on certain days so sometimes we have to see other doctors if our kids are sick. I don't particularly care much for Dr. Palmer because she's very serious & doesn't seem to connect much with kids. Overall, we've been coming here for about 10 years and we are satisfied. read more

She is truly amazing and caring. 0 star for the system/front desk staff/scheduling We waited 1 1/2 in the waiting area and then another 30 mins in the office before Dr. Haney was there. I know there are circumstances where the patients before me require more attention, however, it would probably be best to schedule patients every 1/2 hour instead of every 15 mins. EVERY SINGLE TIME I've been here I have had no less than an hour of waiting. I'm looking for another doctor/practice, not because of the Doctor but because it is truly ridiculous for a pediatric office would do that to families that have to take off work and then take the children out of school just to sit and wait. read more

If you're someone who has absolutely nothing to do all day, go ahead and make an appointment for 9 AM, because you won't get inside until 11 AM and you won't see the doctor until 1 PM. I've been taking my daughter to Dr. Jasani and I like her however the office itself is really not great. I'm switching after my last phone call to them. Customer service is terrible!! Every single time I call I'm on hold for forever, and I've spoken to the same lady twice now and she is so extremely rude! I tried expressing my frustration about it to a supervisor and all she told me was "I don't normally hear complaints about her". I had brought my lo to urgent care on a Thursday and they told me to follow up with her pediatricians office by the weekend if she hadn't improved. So that's what I tried to do and they could not get someone to talk to me about it over the phone. They wanted to send the doctor a message for him to call me back after hours. I don't see how that would have helped me considering they wouldn't have been open again until Monday. So frustrating! I feel like I should be able to call my pediatricians office for advice instead of always having to make an appointment or take her to urgent care. read more

This clinic is a vaccinating clinic only, so don't bother going if you don't plan on vaccinating your child. Once we spoke with the doctor we informed her that we did not want to vaccinate our child. Immediately she informed us that they are a vaccinating clinic only and that we would need to find another pediatrician. She rudely kept questioning our decision as parents. The doctor and the nurse kept pressuring us into signing a sheet that is NOT required to sign, so we decided to end the visit and leave. read more

My kids have been under the care of Dr. Puranik and his team for the past 4 years, unfortunately we moved out of town and the kids will really lose his care. He is professional, yet very humble and nice, very knowledgable, has his own nice ways of dealing with kids examining them, and reassuring us as parents. My 2 yo needed a follow up appointment and I am so glad that we decided to give this clinic a try even after reading the mixed reviews. Dr. Razak is very thorough and patient. The nurses were very friendly. The front staff were obviously busy but they were attentive and efficient. The wait was long but what doctor's office isn't? Dr. Razak clearly took his time and made sure that all questions were answered so I can see why the long wait. He drew a diagram to explain my son's diagnosis for crying out loud! Dr. Haney is fine but the wait time is mismanaged horribly. Last three times came in for scheduled visit, have had to wait over an hour to see the Dr. doesn't seem to matter morning appointments or late in day-- you will wait. Currently 1 hour and 20 minutes and still waiting. I cannot understand how this continually happens-- I was understanding the first two times. Just schedule less patients-- the answer is easy. If you value your time in the least, and believe that a 10:45 am appointment means something other than "show up at 10:30, fill out paperwork and sit around for as long as we think is OK, and we will deign to see you whenever we feel like," I'd look for someone else. In the 3-4 times I've had to be here for my two boys, the doctors have never been within an HOUR of the appointment time. Amusingly enough, if YOU show up late for your appointment, then you can expect to pay the No-Show fee and forfeit your "slot". Appreciate the chutzpah at least. read more

We have been seeing Dr. Puranik since we moved here 5 years ago and he is the absolute best!!! I have referred many friends to see him. His bedside manner is phenomenal. When we come in he is very welcoming, he talks with my kids and asks them what's wrong. He takes his time with us and we never feel rushed. He truly cares about his patients and their families. Yes sometimes there is a longer wait time, but honestly it is totally worth it to get the care that we receive with Dr. Puranik. A whole hour from arrival I come up to the receptionist to ask when I'm be next. She checked and said I was next. Got vitals done and at 415 I'm waiting for the dr. Let's see when she arrives. The nurse could tell I was livid, she apologized for the wait and thanked me for waiting. Too late. You never came to me to advise you are running later than planned. Not forgiven. Horrible! Doctors are inexperienced! I asked them to check my sons skin - their doctors said everything looked fine and would clear up (told me to change his soap and lotion) went back a second time, they said it would go away on its own. After finding a second opinion on my sons skin condition, I received a cream that cleared it up in 2 days! Go somewhere else! Also, had to wait 3 hours for his 2 month checkup. Insane. There are some other issues in not going to disclose - my advice is to avoid this place. read more

The doctor always apologizes but nothing changes. I have to conclude that this is done for a reason and I believe it's to expose people to as many germs as possible. ***STAY AWAY**** Phone hold times are normally about 20 mins on average. The check in desk is in the middle of the waiting room so when you give any of your information the entire room hears it. The physician is rude and argumentative. The care is not at all personalized. Why would you ask my 16 yr old how many cups of milk he/she drinks and if they wear a helmet? TCPA used to be a great place to go but they've hired substandard personnel. Worst customer service, almost like they don't want you to come in. I think they have forgotten that they cater to children's needs. Over 30 minutes wait time on the phone just to make an appointment, they say no appointment available they don't offer when one is available after all that is what I was calling about, how about just saying what you do have rather than what you don't have. Then after asking what my child was coming in for, they put me on hold again and said I needed to speak to a nurse and guess what on hold again to wait just to set up an appointment for my poor child. I know my chart they love to say but sometimes you just don't have time for extras. This is terrible service, the doctors are okay but that front desk needs improvement, not all Antoinette was a delight when I finally got through back to the appointment line not a nurse as I was told by the previous person. Dr. Razak has been our doctor for almost 15 years. We couldn't be happier and wouldn't trade our relationship with him for anything in the world. Objectively, he is one of the most seasoned, evidence-based practitioners we've ever encountered. As a research scientist, I'm constantly impressed by his extensive knowledge. On a more subjective note, his caring demeanor, compassionate bedside manner, and the way he involves you as the caretaker are priceless. Wait times used to be quite high, but over the years this has improved significantly. Like any other human enterprise, perfection is something you strive for. Highly recommended! We arrived to the office 15 minutes before the appointment and not seen until 1 hour and 50 minutes after the scheduled appointment. My three children are patients of Dr. Helen Haney. I choose Dr. Haney because when I was looking for pediatricians, the office staff was very kind and accommodating. They were willing to accept us as new patients at a time when few doctors were. Dr. Haney is very kind. She takes the time to talk to her patients (the children) and us parents. I think she has an awesome bedside manner. I give her 5 stars for that alone. The office is a bit far from us. I wouldn't mind so much if the wait wasn't so long. I've had to wait at least an hour before being seen. And this is why the whole review isn't 5 stars. It's difficult to take so much time out of your day to see a doctor. I had to wait almost 2 hours for our last visit. I'm happy with Dr. Haney and the staff at TCP-Cinco Rancho over all. I think they are a great option especially if you live locally and don't mind waiting to see at great doctor. read more

I would stay away from Texas Children's Cinco Ranch (at least this location). We took our daughter in, and Dr. Palmer barged in the room to the point where it startled us all, did not introduce herself (it was our first time there), and when she left, I didn't realize she was done. There was no bye, thank you, nothing. Dr. Palmer said she would call with results of the urinalysis, but we never received the call. I had to call over a week later to get the results and was told, "It's on MyChart, that's why," and "it doesn't show an infection, but high levels of ketones so she needs to be re-tested in a week." (Note: it had been over a week since we were waiting for results via the promised phone call that we never received). We didn't know what "high levels of ketones" meant other than Googling it. I told the lady over the phone, "okay thank you!" and hung up. I will never go to Texas Children's again. Side note: Dr. Palmer's nurse Krystal was very professional, kind, and considerate! We now go to Dr. Patel at Just for Kids Pediatrics and LOVE her! read more
