If you ever need a vegan breakfast sandwich or a bomb ass pastry....this is the place to go! I always get the deluxe sandwich which is packed with toppings, and such a good price. I also tend to get the pastries here, which are divine. If you sign up with them, they'll occasionally send out deals for free items with the purchase of something on their menu. Their drinks are hit or miss for me, they tend to be a bit on the sweeter side for me. However, they have tons of drink options and can also adjust sweetness. There's also take out options and vegan snacks that you can pick up from here that are worth checking out.

The drinks are very refreshing and tasty, I like how they ask how sweet you want them and they personalize it. Also, pretty cool that they have a rewards system.

I had the opportunity to explore "Steep Tea Company." My son has Celiac disease and it necessitates a gluten-free diet. Steep provides a completely plant-based (vegan) and gluten-free menu, which includes specialty teas, lattes, cold brews, and elixirs. Their menu includes some impressive-looking vegan English muffin sandwiches. The contemporary and welcoming decor, combined with a courteous service staff, and general store amenities. Steep is a must stop for your favorite plant based beverages and goodies and best part is, it all comes at reasonably priced.

Updating my review because they changed locations and this new spot is nice and big! Tried to get here from 16th st but it's easier from Camelback, though there is a way from behind the car wash. They are on TooGoodToGo so my friend and I reserved some bags and came in one weekday afternoon before closing. We got vegan surprise bags and they came with a boxed meal and a dessert. Service was great and we also got some drinks. I got their Frank's ocean which is a lemonade with light ice and 50% sugar. Refreshing and good. My friend got their Butterfly Cold Foam which I tried some and the foam was nice. The food was rice, onion rings, fried purple yam, and fake chicken. It was really good! Had a teriyaki flavor and they had a variety of hot sauces available. The dessert (pain au chocolat) was so delicious, I was pleasantly surprised it was vegan. I would definitely go back and get that again and try some other items!

Cool place, cool concept, super friendly staff. I tried fried rice with egg. The pastries look delicious, my girlfriend confirms 5/5 taste. Vegan friendly. I'd definitely come back for a drink next time.

I absolutely love this place! They started as a food truck and now have a brick and mortar location. The owner ensures everything is high quality, which is amazing considering their small staff size. They have a variety of options from coffee, to matcha, to teas and more. It's hard to choose because they have SO many good options. I have loved everything I've tried. I'm a matcha person, and if you are too, you know it's important to have quality matcha. Their chai is also nice. They have so many options for cold foam flavors and you can add boba too. They also have high quality CBD options. Their food menu is excellent. It's nice to go somewhere that is 100% vegan. They often have baked good from a local baker. The taro white chocolate cookie is my favorite. They often have unique flavors like ube and pandan. It's hard to find this variety elsewhere, especially at the quality they give. They are in a small shop but there's room to read or work. They are connected to a sushi restaurant and it's overall a nice vibe. Please support local and check them out- I want them to replace Starbucks.

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so a place where you can grab a quick drink and bfast sandwich is always welcomed. I've been here twice now. The first time, I had the twin chicken stacker. It was a huge sandwich and perfect for sharing. A bit hard to bite but all of the components were ace. Had the chocolate protein shaker, which I wasn't too impressed. The taste was familiar, similar to a store bought shake. Nonetheless, I was very thankful for the high protein option! The second visit, we got the OG and the deluxe. The deluxe comes with everything the OG has but also the avo, special sauce and bacon. SO good! The Cole slaw added a nice crunch and tang. The tofu, while not too flavored, texture was great, and the bacon was very yummy. The sauce tied everything together. Everything you could want in a sandwich. The bread was also a nice proportion, not too thick/think. For drinks, we had the golden cup and the orange jade, iced. I usually have golden mylk hot, but opted for iced because you know, Phoenix summer. I feel the essence of golden mylk was captured, but definitely lacked the punch it being hot usually brings. Sold on the food offerings, but the drinks, I'm still working on finding the one. Will 1000% be back at Steep to support this vegan gem!

The first vegan broken egg I have ever had! Delicious sandwich with avocado and vegan cream cheese. The egg was tasty and delicious! The latte options are amazing! I had my first cold foam! Peanut butter cup latte with soy milk and peanut butter foam. TO DIE FOR. Literally the best latte I have ever had. Service was ok but not incredible. Ambiance was ok but a little tight inside. Mind-blowing vegan food and drinks!

I am digging it! They are attached to sushi tokoro however they operate separately. They have their own food menu which consists of breakfast and lunch items as well as a few pastries. Super friendly and happy to answer questions about their unique drinks. Cohesive decor and some chill tunes that are easy to listen while working. I tried the Golden Cup, a turmeric latte. Absolutely unique flavor, surprisingly satisfying. I did order mine hot so I am not sure how it would be as an iced latte.

So, I have to admit that the Valley of the Sun is finally trying to compete and provide its unique share of VEGAN and Vegetarian options. I have written several reviews about various VEGAN establishments throughout the valley and out of state for that matter. The wife and I are dedicating this summer to visiting VEGAN locations every weekend over the next 4 months as best as we can. I feel a strong need to make sure that VEGAN establishments stay alive and well and the support of positive reviews I know will help. The first stop on this journey is Steep Tea Company. Now while it is not much to look at from the outside, it is pretty quaint and cozy on the inside. The customer service is awesome, the pricing is good, and the products are delicious. If you all didn't know, chai tea is one of my favorite drinks, and when I can find a great one I have to write about it. Well, this location has one and along with the lemon olive oil pound cake along with some awesome non-dairy ice cream, it made for an awesome afternoon treat. Parking can be tight because this location is right off Camelback Road but I highly recommend this spot. Eat, Drink, and Be Merry, my Friends!!!

November 2023: Their sweet snacks are the bomb. I am in love with their taro cookie. My sister didn't share her pecan roll so I cannot attest to its goodness but being as she is not in any way a plant-based eater, she devoured the roll so it had to be good. Tried their Golden Cup drink for the first time. Holy hell, that is good! Also tried two of their fall menu flavors: Pearfect Chai and In My Cinnamon Era. Both mighty fine. I sure wish they sold some of their drinks in a gallon (or half-gallon) size. I would totally buy them. If you have not tried Steep, you are missing out, I promise. April 2023: First "met" Steep at a local farmers market. Fell head over heels for their Blue Magik. Their Tempe location was a nice haunt, but now they are on 16th St. & Camelbak (close to another farmers market!) Lotsa parking in the back, extra friendly staff, wonderful variety of drinks, trying their food for the first time today. Have high hopes.

All Vegan! Everything! And it's delicious! Walked in...ambiance is chill, inviting, filled with beautiful plants, and unique vegan snacks I've never seen before! I see a huge menu of drinks consisting of coffee and tea varieties such as a Black Sesame Latte, Chocolate Cold Foam, and Rose Tea Latte! I choose the Peanut Butter Latte. Then, move on to order the OG Sandy, Deluxe Sandy, and the Everything Bagel. It sounds different, but the breakfast sandwiches comes with a slaw...but it totally works! The flavors were amazing, the service was super friendly and knowledgable, and the offerings were unique! Will absolutely be back...probably every week!

The food was delicious. The vegan sushi roll was my favorite. The buffalo cauliflower was also pretty tasty. My husbands " chicken " sandwich was very flavorful and how can you go wrong with fries. My friend got the " chicken fried steak " and it looked really good. I ordered the macaroni and " cheese " with edamame and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It was the only thing we didn't like. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant had live music and he was a very nice addition to our evening. His singing voice was nice and he played the guitar very well. Maybe this is a Saturday night thing, I am not sure but it was really nice

We didn't have to wait for a table, but last time I was here in the middle of the week and it was pretty dead, so I was glad to see lots of people enjoying vegan food! The waitress gave us two menus -- one was the regular and I was very excited to see a sushi menu. I love unique vegan sushi and it did not disappoint!! The mango avocado roll caught my eye right away -- so we ordered that roll, the buffalo cauliflower and the cheesy garlic bread -- my friend really wanted the cheese garlic bread because she can never eat anything like this in another restaurant because of her dairy allergy. We also ordered a bottle of sav blanc -- it was good but maybe a little cheap, I had a headache the next day...who knows if it was the wine? Anyway, we ordered two other rolls the asparagus crunch roll and the philly roll. The asparagus roll was amazing!! The philly roll was kind of eh -- it was good but just not very flavorful. Since it was busy in there it was kind of slow for each item to come out but I was catching up with friends so I wasn't too bothered. The waitress was very nice and attentive so that is always a plus. I really want to try the brunch and so many more things on the menu so I will definitely be back!!

The patio was a bit full so we put our name on the list for a table inside. We waited about 15 minutes, but made the most of the wait by going next door for coffee. They appeared a bit short staffed, however the staff we interacted with were very friendly. The food is very yummy. Sometimes I forget that it's amazing what can be made as a vegan recipe these days. The flavors were good and things were seasoned well, and they have to be imo to make up for the lack of flavors from meat, cheese, butter, cream etc. all things I love, but the mushroom gravy on these delectable biscuits was delicious. I also really liked the black beans and quinoa filling of the chimichanga. I would definitely come back and try other items on the menu.

Walking in honestly felt like stepping into Vampire Lestat's lair -- dark, moody, romantic energy... very Anne Rice novel in the best way possible. Super unique atmosphere, tarot card menus (obsessed), and there's also a really cool vibey coffee shop next door owned by the same folks. What I love most? This place is 100% plant-forward but they don't scream "vegan restaurant" anywhere -- it just shows up as a restaurant. And you can tell because plenty of non-vegans were there simply because the food is that good. Nothing was oversalted or over-seasoned, sauces tasted house-made, and everything felt intentional. The Cali burrito was fantastic, the fried guacamole was surprisingly light and delicious (not greasy at all), and the potato tacos were honestly divine. Only small gripe: I wanted to mix taco flavors and was told no -- tacos only come in pairs of the same kind. Didn't love that, especially since I was happy to pay any upcharge just to try a few varieties. That aside, service was friendly, we were seated quickly for early dinner, and overall it was a great experience. I'd absolutely come back and recommend it to vegans and non-vegans alike. Total vibe.

Here's the updated version:…read more Tacos Vegonos is hands down the best vegan Mexican spot I've found, and I'm picky! Growing up on San Diego taco shop street food, I have a high bar for Mexican food, and this place hits home in a way nothing else around here does. The selection is unbeatable -- there's literally nothing on the menu that isn't good! I used to eat here one to three times a week. My work schedule changed and now it kills me that I can't get out as often, since they're in central Phoenix and I'm out in far East Gilbert. But trust me -- this place is absolutely worth the drive. The birria is my go-to on anything, and I'll often do a 50/50 split on the nachos or the fries -- both are killer! I remember when they were just a taco truck, and the food was amazing then too. Moving to a brick-and-mortar didn't change a thing -- same incredible quality, same fantastic customer service every single visit. Worth your money and worth the trip, even if you're not vegan! It may not be the healthiest ingredients, but the flavor more than makes up for it. Go taste it for yourself -- you won't regret it! Want me to tweak anything else?

I was glad we got there when we did because shortly after we put our order in there was a line almost to the door. It is counter service so you kind of need to know what you are getting and everything looks so yummy it was super hard to decide. I got the AZ burrito with birria, which is made with jackfruit. It's meant to be like pulled pork. It was huge and very messy. They tortilla was very rubbery but the filling was good and I think there were French fries in there? Maybe that is what makes it an AZ burrito? Overall the flavor was good but it needed something else like beans or guac. It just tasted very one note. Also I got the horchata. It was delicious. My mom got the surf and turf taco. Again the tortilla was tough to eat so she got a fork and a plate and tore into it. This one had the "asada" soy steak and then breaded and fried pieces of cauliflower. The fake meat was not that good. It was too salty and so was the rice. The cauliflower although tasty was so big it was hard to eat. Overall it was good but not as amazing as I had wanted it to be. I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

Right on Camelback, in a little nook of a building with a book store/coffee shop attached. We entered and were seated immediately. If you read any of my previous reviews, you'll know that my wife loves oysters. Per usual, that where we started. We got the oyster and a bottle of prosecco. A few mimosas to start the day. My friend arrived almost exactly when the oysters and bottle came out. We chatted and perused the menu. We were in no rush as we drank through the first bottle. My wife got the pizza that was on the menu. I forgot what they called it, but it was good. Nice crust, a savory sauce, and just the right amount of cheese. My friend ordered avocado toast I believe or something very similar. She's a psycho path that runs 20 miles every morning so she was ready to take in carbs. She tore through it like a starving cheetah tears through a gazelle. I had an omelette which was pretty good, but nothing that knock me out of my seat. It could have used a bit of seasoning but in all decent. We ordered a second bottle and that is when their DJ began playing music. He played soft jazz which definitely was not the vibe we were looking for. None of the aforementioned mention brought this rating down to a three star review. It was all 4 star worthy accept the service was not great. Far from it actually. Don't worry I still tipped 20% as I feel it's a bare minimum, but he didn't deserve it. As I stated we were seated immediately, but it took our server nearly 15 minutes to even acknowledge us. I didn't know who it would be, but when he finally did all I could think is that he passed our table numerous times prior to stopping. Once he did there was a serious "I do not want to be here" vibe in his body language and tone. My friend who didn't arrive till the oysters and bottle were served missed that initial interaction but immediately noticed it. She an A type and wanted to complain to the manager. I got her to let it go. I know every has there days and this might have been his. Through out our stay here, he rarely checked in on us. As a matter of fact I believe we drank through each bottle before he checked in. This is the sole reason my rating went from a 4 to a 3. I hope the guy was ok, but I wish it could have been something he didn't bring to work with him. No pictures again. Sorry... I really just like to enjoy the moments with the people I am with and forget to take pictures.
