Today we got to try the new non-alcoholic organic sparkling cider which was super refreshing and the perfect amount of sweet but not too sweet. They are open for limited hours to taste and purchase in person. There are lovely big tables for socially distant gathering outdoors, and a few food items for sale like maple syrup, maple cider grilling sauce, honey, grass fed meats and fresh veggies. You can stay and hike around the forest and property and see many experiments in action. We got a little tour today and saw shiitake mushrooms growing on logs! I chose alcohol and every single cider that I tried including the ones on the tour I absolutely love, they have a lower sugar content than traditional ciders that you buy at the LCBO which gives them a lighter refreshing feel. And for the seasonal they had a sangria cider that was absolutely refreshing as well I tried the cambert cheese I believe.. it was that came with their gooseberry jelly oh my goodness that jelly was absolutely delicious and they do sell it in the market.
