Review is based on the bottle shop & service…read more I heard about this place from another beer buddy of mine a while ago. She likes sours, stouts, porters, etc., but I finally made it out here. (Unless you're visiting someone at Maplehurst &/or live nearby, there really isn't much reason to be in this area.) First, for hours of operation, check Google. The ones on here aren't updated not to mention rather limited! They have a taproom AND it was opened! However, when I stopped by on Super Bowl Sunday, I was still weary about dining-in and they were at capacity anyway, so I didn't get a chance to enjoy my beer there. I was quite impressed with the number/variety of beers that they had available. They had a coupla pilsners, a bunch of IPAs, a stout, sours, and even some seltzers for purchase. What stood out to me the most is the friendliness of the guy helping me out. I really hate to say this, but the people who work at breweries in larger cities like Etobicoke, Toronto, etc. can learn a thing or two about patience. I may not always know what I want right away, but I always, ALWAYS buy a bunch of stuff to take home. I ask questions and always welcome recommendations. Will definitely stop by again - hopefully check out their taproom! I really enjoyed the 3 beers that I tried at home!

Arguably, the best beer in Ontario. Super friendly and welcoming folks. The "worst" beer I've had from them is better than the best beers from most breweries. The hype is genuine and accurate.

This hidden gem in Georgetown had some great brewskis and awesome concept. Although there's no…read morekitchen here, you are able to bring your own food and enjoy their beers on site, which I found really nice to be able to do your own thing and have some great beers at the same time! I grabbed one of their beer flights for sampling, my favourite one was their Beardmore Kolsch Style Ale, it was light and refreshing as described, my kinda as I tend to lean towards lighter brews. The staff and owner were all very warm and hospitable, a spot I'd love to return to on my next visit to Georgetown!

Upstairs is a lounge where you can drink. We got the chance to check out the back and learn some about how beer is made and how the process leads to delicious tasting beer. When you're at the bar you can order a flight of 4 beers. I think this is the best deal to check out their great lineup of beers. The service was friendly and informative. I cannot count how many times, patiently, the sales rep explained what each beer was like and which were the favourites. The beer is absolutely delicious. I think we all typically associate craft beer with hoppy beer but this wasn't the case here. Everything was super smooth and delicious! Definitely a place I'll be checking out again and encourage others to check out! Unfortunately there's no kitchen here but there are snacks you can purchase, along with some swag. Of course, don't forget to check out Chicken Man!

The Naughty Neighbour Pale Ale and Wicked Awesome IPA are absolute classics, and the Headstock is a flavourful West Coast IPA. The Raspberry Jam Stand is juicy, thick, and jammy--without that off-putting aftertaste some sours have (my wife and I are picky with sours, but this one is fantastic!). We genuinely enjoyed all the beers except the Cucumber and Lime Gose. The vibes at the brewery are great, often enhanced by live acoustic performances. A solid spot for beer lovers!

Angelo saw my wife looking at the beer selections trying to find something I would like. He stepped in and asked several questions and curated a selection of Nickel Brook beers for me. Huge kudos to Angelo for some really amazing customer service. He clearly stepped out of what I assume a territory rep would normally be asked to do in patiently walking a customer who doesn't know much about beer through selections and making recommendations. While I would assume that sales are his primary responsibility, it was really refreshing to see a sales rep with this level of customer service for a single customer. All brand ambassadors in area reps should strive for his level of service and knowledge. To say that the beers were all awesome as an understatement. I'm a big fan of lots of the Ontario craft beers especially Collective Arts, but I have a new favorite and that's absolutely Nickel Brook. Angelo, if you get to read this, thank you so much! If anyone at Nickel Brook gets to read this Angelo is awesome!
