The wines sort of sprawl diagonally from centre. The signage at least helps. The shelves are usually well stocked. There's an adequate amount of staff on the ground if you need any help. I've found the floor staff pretty knowledgeable about the characteristics and differences between various brands. I like that LCBO always has some good sales on a few products at any given time. I've been known to try new brands of liqueurs and wines when I see those tags promoting the sale items. They do have a cooler section if you head to the far end of the store. The selection of locked up, premium items isn't too extensive, but you will find several brain damage price vintages for extra special occasions. I find the displays at the checkouts a little wanting. They have nice boxes and bags that are behind the checkouts for some reason, rather than before where you can see and select something before you pay. It could all be organized better. The service is often... slow. Even if there are several checkouts open, and fewer customers than open lines, it takes minutes before you begin to get processed. I appreciate that they never fail to ask about your rewards cars. If slow, service is usually polite if not friendly. I'm glad to have a solid LCBO like this nearby for my boozing needs ;)

Fellow Yelpers this whisky was sold out in all of Ontario Lcbo for the months of Jan and Feb. I grabbed 2 bottles and I am smiling ear to ear. The cashier said it came in yesterday, and expect it to be sold out by evening. They have 69 bottles at this location.

I think there's a real problem with this group. I do the math myself now, because we've had some inconsistencies with prices multiple times. I had placed an order at 8:30 p.m. and they called and confirmed the items and said it was on its way, but nothing ever showed up... I had to call the next day and place the order again... So they seem fairly disorganized. I do prefer to order online so I have a paper record of what's ordered, because they do deliver wrong items and even when you place an order online they transcribe it incorrectly, so it's very disorganized and poorly coordinated. I don't particularly expect great things from this type of service, but just being able to transcribe correctly from an online order and to do basic math isn't really asking that much... I do see potential with this business and I do find it incredibly convenient... but I feel there should be a better way to decrease order inconsistencies and mathematical discrepancies. I'm not sure what their base delivery rate is because my orders have always been over $100, but if you do place an order over $100 it's 10% of the orders total and 2 - $3 to use their machine if paying by credit card. We do tend to tip the drivers between $5 and $10 depending on how big an order it is. It's convenient and it saves you from having to deal with all the added stress of going to the LCBO when you're preparing for a party the next day.

Thanks for the Historic Brewery Tour ($4.50) at Black Creek Pioneer Village, I got a sample of how…read morebeer tasted like back in 1860 in Ontario, the good one times when beer was used as a medication (where is my presciptions!!) and even as pay for the workers! No electricity, No refrigeration, No machinery... Everything are done by hand with no chemical or preservatives! This is different than the commercial version that they sell in LCBO. We ended up tasting 3 samples - Rifleman's Ration - brewed especially for the season is unfiltered brown ale, caramel and earthy taste Stout - really flat, taste just like medicine.. but apparently rich in iron IPA - really interesting taste as it is brewed with a citrus hop, quite difference than the usual IPA Tour itself is really interesting! Not only about the historic brewing method but a great lesson of Ontario's beer history. The costumed guide was quite entertaining and I love how all the participants were involved. We were all assigned as one of the historical characters: Brewers, Politicians, Tavern Owners, Temperance Advocates* At the end of the tour, you also able to purchase a 2 L growler with beers that are brewed on site ($12+$4 deposit). The only downside is in order to visit the brewery, $15 admission to the Pioneer Village has to be paid on top of the tour itself! If not I won't mind coming to the Brewery Pub to have a drink of their special brews!! And if you drive, $7 extra for parking! Whoever has that Mancave setup with 70" LED Smart Flatpanel TV, gimme a shout. 150+ years from now, someone will laugh at you about that historic LED Smart TV. As I smirked at the quality of Historic-style Brown Ale, Stout and IPA provided to us. Here's the catch. Historic Brewery Tour serves up Beer the Historic way, as it was. No frosted Beer Can showing you it has reached Rocky Mountain Coldness. Why? Think back when you were 150 years younger. Electricity, Fridge, Machinery. Nada. It so happens even Carbonation didn't exist. Flat lukewarm Beers anyone? So you've tried Black Creek from your local LCBO? Doesn't taste as bad as I've said? Those Bottles my dear Friend are made at a separate Commercial Brewing Facility. I have a couple in the Fridge myself waiting for something historic to happen, cheers. We found out the card was redeemed in Toronto, yet my son was in Ottawa! I called and explained what happened and the person I spoke to said that someone would get back to me. I wasn't hopeful. But then, I got an email from Frank Perry at The Beer Store in Mississauga saying they would be reimbursing us for the gift card - and giving us an extra $10 for the trouble of having to call in!! Apparently, they have had some trouble with people hacking into their gift card system, so I guess we weren't the only one they heard from. I was so happy with the good customer service. one of the better lcbo's in my honest opinion of going to alot of lcbo's as of late. for some…read morestrange reason this location has stock on some pretty uncommon and dare i say rare items even by the LCBO's standards, and thats speaking from a whiskey standpoint. came here to grab a bottle of something i couldn't find locally, didnt take advantage of ordering ahead, but had zero issues getting the bottle of what i wanted, cashing out was a bit painful, all registers were open and the line ups were 5-7 people deep. even with this situation when i got to the cashier, they were pretty happy and bubbly with energy, something that never gets old in my honest opinion. lots of parking at this location, even though getting into the physical lot is not fun at best, it doesn't have a nice layout for getting in and getting out is what im getting at. would go out of my way to come to this location to pick up stuff here, oh wait, i did do that, and i'll gladly do it again as well :)
