Great collection of wines especially Italian ones that are really found in other LCBO's. Only downside it is closing at 5pm on Sundays.

ABSOLUTELY  DISGUSTED WITH THE TREATMENT I JUST RECEIVED !!!!!!…read more I went to Vin Bon on Toryyork to see if they had sulphite free wine and Mary provided the most despicable service EVER. I'm not sure if her name was Marie or Mary but this all happened around 2:15pm on April 28, 2020 I walked in and she told me only one person at a time so I proceeded to wait outside and told her I had a quick question. ME: "Do you sell sulphite free wine?" Mary: "No we don't sell wine."  ME: "Not at all?"  MARY: "No...you can go to another location" I went back to my car extremely confused and called my grandfather who just purchased wine from this exact location last week.  He literally screamed and said that's where he has been going for years and I was at the right place. I then went back in to the store. ME: "I have my grandfather on the phone and he said this is the right place" MARY: "What's your grandfathers name? " ME: * A_______***** MARY: What is his last name ? ME: "P******" MARY: "ok ya we do sell wine...I lied ME:  "why did you lie?" MARY: "Because the way you look" ME: " Me, really?" MARY: " I don't know...you might have been a cop" ME: Even if I was a cop, why can't I buy wine here?" MARY: "no....that's not the reason" ME: "so clearly ...its a racial thing" And I stormed out I am absolutely disgusted and disappoined at the treatment I received from Mary. 1) Mary had no right to refuse me as a customer. I followed her instructions when she said 1 client at a time obeying the COVID safety procedures 2) Since when does Vin Bon verify people's first and last names before deciding to provide service???? That is NOT a requirement 3) I am deeply offended by the clear act of racial prejudice. As a 33 year old woman of mixed race it sickens me to be treated this way. This is clear cut discrimination and was confirmed by Mary herself when she said "because of the way you look". People like Mary should NOT be providing any type of in person service to the public. This was a horrific portrayal of institutionalized racism fortified by extreme elitist behaviour from Mary. Her comments shocked me and thus has been negatively been impacting me since. 4) the fact that she refused service because she thought I was a cop gives me the impression that she has something to hide or worry about. To resolve this problem I would appreciate your HR department to immediately investigate Mary's performance and recollection of this particular situation, and to handle accordingly. I don't believe I that this situation truly represents the attitude of Canadian citizenship promoting 'Diversity and Inclusion'. I refuse to support such a business and hope that no one else has to ever experience something like this ever again.

From the owner: The retail concept of selling imported grape juice for home winemaking originated with Vin Bon…read more Before Vin Bon came on the scene, Canadians wanting to make homemade wine bought grapes, squeezed them to extract the juice, and then strained out the solids - even before starting to make wine. Now, with Vin Bon, home wine creations have become easier and less time-consuming resulting in vastly superior wines by buying only the juice. As Ontario's largest make-your-own-wine retailer with over 30 years in the industry, it's no wonder Vin Bon is the name you can rely on. Vin Bon not only sells the highest quality wine juice, we sell kits with all the basics you need to make and bottle your very own wine. Vin Bon is the only stop you need to make to create a vintage of the highest caliber that you'd be proud to serve family and friends.

one of the better lcbo's in my honest opinion of going to alot of lcbo's as of late. for some…read morestrange reason this location has stock on some pretty uncommon and dare i say rare items even by the LCBO's standards, and thats speaking from a whiskey standpoint. came here to grab a bottle of something i couldn't find locally, didnt take advantage of ordering ahead, but had zero issues getting the bottle of what i wanted, cashing out was a bit painful, all registers were open and the line ups were 5-7 people deep. even with this situation when i got to the cashier, they were pretty happy and bubbly with energy, something that never gets old in my honest opinion. lots of parking at this location, even though getting into the physical lot is not fun at best, it doesn't have a nice layout for getting in and getting out is what im getting at. would go out of my way to come to this location to pick up stuff here, oh wait, i did do that, and i'll gladly do it again as well :)

Beers [Imports & Local non-commercial Craft] seem to be limited…read more For Saturday afternoon, Vintage shelves seem to be understocked. Possibly less selection, possibly in-middle of re-stock. Possibly. I wonder if they notice the Louis XIII missing from their display... The casing looks nice but "something" seems to be missing. The Wine aisles seem compact. Limited Asian products. 2.5'd Plentiful of Moretti Birra & Peroni Nastro Azzuro in stock. Middle of the Pack LCBO. Mediocre. Ciao.
