Hannah was our server. After being seated, she took our drink orders, including a root beer for one member of our group, and I ordered the JoJo's appetizer along with my meal. I expected the appetizer to arrive before the entrée. After approximately 30-40 minutes, the root beer and the appetizer still had not been served, even though my pizza had already arrived. When Hannah returned to the table, I politely asked about the missing items. Her response was dismissive, stating that she had not forgotten them and that appetizers are typically brought out with the meal. When I told her I no longer needed the JoJo's, she appeared frustrated and left the table. She later returned, explaining that the restaurant was busy and that appetizers are served with entrées during such times. She brought the JoJo's and said she would not charge for them, which I appreciated, though I did not eat them. I believe Hannah may simply benefit from additional customer service guidance from McGlinn's management.

There a very friendly and helpful server took my drink order and gave me a menu. I decided on the pepperoni pizza and was happy with what I got. It was a very thin crust, luckily I prefer thin crust. My experience with pepperoni pizza led me to believe it would be soaked in pizza grease. I was surprised when there was very little grease left on the tray.

I ran over to let the waiter know and he apologized and said it was a "thing" since its such an old building and he let the chef know too. Right after that it ran across our booth by the wall and we were able to change tables. Still, kind of a turn off we hadn't gotten our food yet and I lost my appetite. Look at the pic--what a meal! Jimmy's is a down-home kind of place, a favorite of locals because of its quality breakfasts at better than usual prices. They keep the prices lower by running a cash-only business--no paying extra charges for credit card use. As of this writing, their hours are 6:00AM to 2:00PM daily, but closed on Monday and Tuesday. My breakfast was a standard bacon-eggs-hash browns. Sherrie had the same without bacon. We sat in elevated chairs in the bar area. Our waitress was prompt in every respect and checked on us often. The Bloody Marys were large and one was enough. We hadn't seen these friends, Mike and Pam, for several years, so there was much catching-up to do. The Buzz Inn gave us all the time to enjoy the moment. The food at Buzz Inn isn't sophisticated (it's a sports bar menu with many more choices), but everything is prepared to please.
