Do not use this cleaner!! They ruined a camel-hair blazer because they did not know how to properly press it. Another dry cleaner attempted to correct but could not. The other cleaner (Comet) told me that this cleaner pressed the coat on a regular machine instead of a special piece of equipment which is required for that type of coat. They refused to do anything or accept responsibility for their screw up and tried to blame me. They said I obviously did something to it and brought it to them that way. As a downtown resident, it's inconvenient that I have to drive outside of downtown now for this, but that's the way it is. I'm sure they'll continue to blame me in their response to this review but that's also the way it is. I wish I could leave no stars, but Yelp won't let me do that. read more

I've been coming here for years good cleaners just poor workers they close there stores earlier than suppose to i arrived at 12:30 to grab my clothes on lunch they told me it would be another hour or two i come back and they are closed for the day early no heads up. read more

Easy, reliable, quick turn around, and fairly priced. It's a block away from my place, which is why I use them, but they do a good job. If you live downtown, this should be who you use for your dry cleaning. It's right next to the AT&T Plaza place so it's a safe area to walk to and from too. read more

On our way home to Boston, we found ourselves in Dallas for an unplanned week due to Hurricane Irene. As we did not plan for an extra week away, we had very few clean clothes. We brought our laundry to City Cleaners on a Monday afternoon, and they promised to have it done by Wednesday morning. We were shocked to get a call late on Monday that the clothes would actually be ready on TUESDAY morning! And, they did an excellent cleaning job as well! So happy we gave this establishment a try despite the yelp rating. After reading through all the reviews it seem that the ones with 1 star did not do much review and also indicated they did not use the service like the guy from Australia. We just moved to downtown Dallas and this place is within walking distance to our home. The lady who works here was very nice. I like my clothes after picking it up. Nice work. No burnt buttons as indicated by another poster. I had 2 silk shirt and a linen skirt done this time. Total cost $14. Very good prices. I'm used to California prices which would be $21. I am looking forward to using this place as my go to cleaner while living downtown. read more

This is right downtown and they have a drive through window so I don't have to worry about paying for parking. Plus the lady the takes my close always remembers me by name. We have never had a problem with any of our clothes from there. read more

Fast, efficient, and reasonable prices. When I'm in a pinch they will do same day service. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to go an extra step. While they close early on weeknights (6pm) they are open on Saturdays for pick-ups/drop offs. read more

We decided to use this drycleaners because we moved downtown and boy was it a huge mistake!! Burnt buttons, melted zippers, and scorched collars; this place does all the big bad things a drycleaners should not be doing. The owner is a very rude woman who has no interest in customer service. My family and I have been travelling around the US for the past few weeks and we have had great service everywhere, hotels, restaurants you name it. We went to this place to drop of our laundry. The lady was so rude and arrogant, didn't make eye contact and told us it would take over two days - no explanation, just a take it or leave it attitude. So we went somewhere else. Advertises same day pickup if dropped off before 9:00am, but never seems to be willing to deliver that (every time I have dropped off all they say they can do is 5pm next day). I have never written a review on yelp but this is the worst customer service experience I have had. This place is next to my building so I was excited about the convenience, however, they told me the wrong hours causing me to have to go a week without several of my suits during a business trip. When I called to get a partial refund for the cleaning (as I had wanted same day) they refused, blaming me and accusing me of making up the incident. Extremely unprofessional service. I've used uptown cleaners for over a year now and am very pleased with the work they do. Most of the time (depending on the amount of clothes) they are ready in 24 hours and Ive never had any issues with missing buttons or stains or anything like that. The price is about average, the people are very nice, and they do a very good job. I don't have any issues recommending them to anyone in need of a cleaners downtown. read more
