Double steak, burger, fries, and cheese sauce
    Connie H.

We hadn't dined at a Steak 'n Shake since before Covid. Decided to try the Eastgate location after a shopping trip to Jungle Jim's. I liked that you had to order through a kiosk, but for those not familiar with how this works, it was taking longer, and one of them was down so we had to wait until the other people were finished. The dining room was clean, and there was one lady who was an attendant and helping everybody out and cleaning. She was very nice. A couple of people were having trouble using the fountain drinks because now you have to scan your receipt in order for them to work. Again, taking up time for the people waiting behind them. I thought these were all nice improvements. Overall, as this location was pretty bad in the past with service and cleanliness. We will definitely keep returning.

Well.. this was a random dinner stop for sure. Typically I don't even bother going to a fast food place only because I lean towards more of the healthier options.. but we wanted something quick and despite the overall low rating of this establishment, my husband still wanted to try it... and so here we are! lol.. You order per their kiosk, which is cool because my bro in law said typically their service is awful.. so self service is fine with me. Anywho... I ordered their garlic steak burger and my husband ordered the double cheese steak burger... and a chocolate milkshake. Garlic steak burger.. shockingly I thought this was pretty good. Had a nice strong garlic flavor.. don't know what the garlic sauce was made of (and won't ask).. but it was tasty. A little messy, but sometimes a messy burger is good. Double cheese steak burger.. My husband liked his burger, nothing crazy special about the burger, but it was good. Chocolate milkshake.. WAY too sweet. I could barely drink it because it was too sweet for me. It was even too sweet for my husband and he has a sweet tooth. Overall - pretty ok/good experience. Definitely need more employees because the interior was quite messy and tables were unkept. Kudos to the employees still there doing all the operations to keep the business going.

The kinks are worked out and service is FAST! The place was quite busy today I ordered for 3 at the kiosk, which took only a few moments. Less than two minutes after I got our drinks, our food was ready. My burger was perfectly made (get the grilled onions on your burger). The temperature was spot on and the kids loved their chicken tenders. The floors, counters, and tables were clean. The food is cooked in full view, so you know it is clean! All supplies were full. I will be back.

    Great restaurant and friendly workers!

I love visiting this Steak N Shake! The food quality and service is amazing. They have the friendliest staff and self ordering is easy to do. Theres typically a manager or a host available every time we've been there to help with any questions as well. We've always loved Steak N Shake and this one by far is the best around. They have an owner at this location so maybe thats the difference but the place is well cared for and clean too. We highly recommend giving them a try!

If you go when they're busy, you're screwed. They don't come to the front counter and completely ignore anyone standing up there.

It was a small space but feels like a diner from an old movie. It was cozy and fun! I got the Tealside Slammer with scrambled eggs, potato cakes, and upgraded the standard pancake to a waffle with brown sugar butter. It's one of my favorite meals I've had this year. I've never had potato cakes before, so now I am on a mission to learn how to make them from home. The eggs were buttery and fluffy - I loved them. The sausage tasted just like how my grandma makes it. The waitress (who was super bubbly and friendly!) suggested I get the brown sugar butter with my waffle and she was so right. I've never had something like that, but there is no going wrong with brown sugar or butter - the combination of the two obviously is amazing! I can't wait to go back and try even more on the menu!

My daughter has been here before but this was my first time. I ordered the Brooklyn Bowl with gravy and over medium eggs. I also got a hot tea. My daughter ordered the Sweet Brunch Sandwich with Home fries and an Iced Caramel Latte. Both of us enjoyed our brunch. My daughter thought her iced coffee was just a little too sweet but she liked it also. It's a very small diner and gets really busy - so it's hard to get a seat.

Enter David's Kitchen & Bar, opened for a little over a year now at 1020 Ohio Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45245. My daughter joined my wife and me on this visit, and while there is a kids menu, she opted for something more exciting and went with the crispy chicken sandwich topped with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and pickles on a potato bun with a loaded baked potato on the side ($15.69). Nothing too out of the ordinary, but a solid chicken sandwich and potato. My wife ordered the tender basket with fries ($13.99), which featured hand-breaded and fresh tenders that were really good. Their fries are also hand-cut and freshly fried. Good stuff! I enjoyed the grilled chicken balsamic sandwich topped with balsamic glaze, pickled onions, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and a mozzarella cheese melt served on a potato bun along with a small garden salad on the side ($15.69). I think this was the star of the meal. The balsamic glaze combined with pickled onion was outstanding!

The staff were extremely friendly and seemed willing to actively engage with customers. It was a nice neighborhood spot. I ordered Mo's Rice Bowl, and it was generally well executed. Maybe a little bit more rice than it needed, but it presented a nice combination of flavors and textures. The pickled onions were well done. There was a relish type offering that rounded it out. The fried egg was a nice protein addition. Overall, the dish came together. I'm not from Cincinnati, but they apparently have a regional goetta dish. I ordered the vegan version, and it was really well done. Good on the restaurant for thinking to offer a vegan version. All told, this was an exception place. It's a little small, but there was essentially no wait to get a seat at the bar. Highly recommended.

LongHorn Steakhouse is not a place you go every night. LongHorn is for the occasion. I feel as though, occasionally, it is perfectly acceptable to order an entire T-bone steak for myself as a treat; and that is exactly what it feels like when the nice server places that dish on the table in front of you. That feeling of pure existential joy is unrivaled. I felt like a dog being handed the leftover rib at a backyard cookout. As for the service, it was better than expected. They seemed a little understaffed, but my food came out quick, hot, and, most importantly, correct. There's not much more I can ask for on a jam-packed Monday night. The ambiance felt like corporate America. As I sat alone in my booth, I couldn't help but wonder if this is where the world is headed in the near future. If so, LongHorn Steakhouse has to be considered a contemporary piece of the times ahead. Overall, this was not a bad introduction to the concept. Eventually, I will have to go back, open the playbook, and drive down the field for a LongHorn touchdown.
