Very dishonest. Car needed extensive repairs (worth about 50% of the price of the car) within about 100 miles. I can't prove it, but pretty sure they broke things between me paying the deposit and picking it up. Very difficult to work with and sloooooowwww to do everything. They screwed the paperwork all up and it took about two months to get title after having to contact them repeatedly. I should've checked the reviews before dealing with them. read more

I wish I had gotten everyone's name so I could give all the shout-outs! I had been driving around on a cracked rim for far too long. I took my car in to have them try and patch it to keep from inflating the tire every morning. It helped and got me through for about a month. Told me they worked with Tire Rack and that if I found new wheels I liked, to call up and let them know so they could quote the install. The job came in over $100 less than if I had ordered the wheels myself and taken them to another shop. The process was seamless and I could not be happier! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I bought a Ford Escape from them, paid with cash in full, and was told it had no problems. As soon as I drove it for a week, it had a horrible coolant leak, and I could barely drive the car. They did, however, fix it at no charge, but I had to beg them to get it to me in less than a week since I needed it for school and work. They just kept telling me their repair guy was sick. Over a year, the AC no longer works, the speaker doesn't work, and I had to fix the back windshield wiper myself. I almost got into an accident because the traction/stability gave out, and I almost died on the road. On top of that, the coolant is leaking again. When I took it in, they told me the sales guy would be in an hour to look at it and give me an estimate. I called three hours later, and they said they would get back to me when they could. This place is horrible, i came in to have them rotate my tires and fix my exhaust and all they did as rotate my tires. they did a diagnostic check and then charged 130 dollars just to look. they called to say my car was complete but obviously it was not because nothing was fixed. these charges were not made clear beforehand. if you're going to charge someone 130 just to look at the car and not attempt to fix that's absolute bull! don't come here it's an absolute scam! read more

We did not have a good experience buying a used car. The car broke down immediately after purchase. We had it towed back and something was majorly wrong. They had told us before purchase that they would put it up on the lift to make sure it was in good shape. They obviously didn't because there would have been no way to miss this. They did fix it. However, a couple of weeks later it broke down again. We took it to a different mechanic and they told us it wasn't even safe to drive in its current state! We lost lots of money on this car. We did not ask Station 45 to fix it again because we lost all confidence after they missed all these issues 2 times. We know there is risk in buying a new car, but we were misled that his car was at least safe to drive. read more

I don't understand why they have bad reviews on yelp I recommend checking their reviews on Google because they are all 4-5 stars and tell a much different story then these reviews here. I recently got a car from them and have had no problems and it is exactly as it was described on their site. Came 2 hours away to buy a car told no issues mechanically. We arrived cars tire pressure light was on started test drive it was wobbling and the steering wheel was sideways when you steered straight. DO NOT TAKE HERE. My vehicle needed a ball barring fixed. First, it took nearly 3 days or a 2 hour job, I would recommend somewhere else. Second, when I got the call what was wrong I was told my water pump had been leaking severely and needed to be replaced. A 500 plus fix. I questioned the receptionist about it to be told bad leak, unable to be driven, must be replaced. I took my vehicle to a mechanic I came in contact with on Facebook help wanted. A certified tech with 15 years experience. Within moments of lifting hood and looking under the truck determining the water pump was not the source of this severe leak. He decided to double check using a tool that would add pressure to the water pump. To my surprise there was no leak. The source of said leak? The power steering that had a slight leak but wouldn't have been covered by warranty because if smaller than a silver dollar it is considered residual. Decided to go back to station 45 and explain that it did not need a water pump. We were met by the receptionist with "well if that was the problem" and "I guess our guys should be more thurow" When asked to speak to the owner about what had happened I was told he was not available and asked for a time he would be available. I was told to call, who would answer? The receptionist. I would have paid 500 plus for a fix that didnt need to be fixed. Trying to salvage any customer relation that was remaining to be stoned walled and shown the door is unacceptable for a repair garage whom people give there trust in, taking care of their vehicles. DO NOT TAKE TO STATION 45 that would misdiagnosis my vehicle without the proper steps to determine the problem. Get a second opinion read more

I made an appointment here for 9am for an OIL CHANGE, they said they would call when its done. It was 10am when I decided to go back in and check on my car, and they hadn't even started. What was point of making an appointment? I have shit to do everyday and it's like they think that they're the only business. My family is in the car dealership business so I always price check when given estimates and they are always spot on. Would recommend Station 45 if you need a tune up or are having major car issues! My sons car broke down while he was on leave from the marines. He was visiting friends in the Grand Rapids area. Station 45 was recommended to me from the towing company that picked up his car. I was told there were three broken lug nut studs on the right front and that the brake caliper was froze up. Since my sons car had aftermarket wheels it required special lug nuts. This was on a Friday afternoon. Station 45 said they could not get the parts until Monday. When I called them Monday morning I was told his car would be ready to go by 1:30. I needed to know that because I live an hour and a half away from Grand Rapids. When my son and I arrived at about 1:15 Monday afternoon. his car was up on blocks half torn apart. I asked what was going on I was informed they had ordered the wrong brake caliper for his car and the correct one was on its way. I had also requested to have a wheel stud replaced on the rear of the car. About an hour later I decided to go check the mechanics progress. He was sitting on the ground with a bunch of parts in his hands and a look of what do I do with all these on his face. I walked away in disgust. Ten minutes later another mechanic informed me the guy that was working on my sons car had gone in to look at a video as to how to repair the parking brake on my marines car. I can not tell you how much confidence I had in this place at this point. I surely wouldn't go to a doctor that had to watch a how to video before he treated me. I certainly wouldn't take my car there again. I would rather pay a 400 dollar tow bill than to have them work on my car. Finally they finished the car at 4:30 in the afternoon. The total cost to replace four broken lug nut studs, new lug nuts and replace a brake caliper was four hundred dollars. Highway robbery at its worst. read more
