I recently had several fixtures repaired and replaced. The Stashluck technician was on time, professional, courteous, and patient. He did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend this business. read more

This company takes "Let the buyer beware to another level". Take your business (and money) elsewhere. After paying for two diagnostic calls of over $300 I was quoted $2,200.00 to repair my furnace. Considering the furnace cost $3,600 to install six years earlier I thought this price was crazy. I called a local (they were local also!) independently owned contractor and the EXACT same job was done for $910.00 What's unfortunate is that they have the advantage of taking advantage when it is 40 degrees outside and you need heat. I feel sorry for those that get robbed by this company. To me this is no different then selling generators after a hurricane for three times the regular price. Yes, I'm out $300 but I'm still ahead $900 if I chose to go with this dishonest company. Please don't make the same mistake. Support small local owned business. read more

As a homeowner and former active Real Estate Agent in Summit, NJ I had numerous occasions to require plumbing, heating and air conditions services. For everything from a simple drip to replacing our complete AVAC system, Stashluk was always there for us. Their advice was always sound, the installation people were always efficient and extremely friendly. Anytime follow-up was needed, is was always without question. They stand behind everything they do. If they are not the least expensive, they are certainly the highest value. Value is a balance between cost and performance. They stay way ahead of that curve. read more

Stay AWAY! This company is a SCAM! They will charge your card even if you NEVER authorize it! They have NO professionals - only Sales associates! They tried to sell me a "maintenance kit" for $790!!! I purchased it few days later for $54.99 + $36.79 for cleaning Tool! (Take a look at the Image) I have 9 year old Weil-McLain. Called and ordered maintenance. Fully equipped "technician" came with iPad - I am absolutely honest - NO TOOLS - IPad - looked at my unit and informed me: "You need to order a maintenance kit for $790!!! and we will do service for $300" AND His recommendation was "Do it every other year" CAN you CALCULATE my "investment" in this Unit! Of course I asked "technician" to go.......BTW - my "damage" - credit card charge for $158 - BUT I saved will save a LOT! read more

If you like rude people who charge you a lot of money but don't fix the problem, Stashluk is perfect. They had three diagnoses for my water heater, charged me for changing a tank, and left it leaking. My HVAC was not working; they said the problem was the filter, charged me for changing it (which I usually do myself), and it didn't solve anything. Then, they refused to give me my money back. But if you prefer transparency and professionalism instead, I recommend Argent Plumbing. read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! They are unprofessional and incompetent! They seem to no nothing about AC or much else. I had several companies come by before one simply did the work. It seems there are some very poorly run AC/HVAC companies out there that are simply charging the customer as much as possible and then making excuses for their lack of professionalism. MY AC was not cooling as well as it used to. I had STASHUNLUCKY come out and they sent a guy who looked at it and said it had frozen lines and they could come back in a day or two if we just turned it off. I asked if he could check the pressure on the condensor (a CARRIER), he said he could but it would cost just to put the meters on the system, I said fine. SO they also charge a visiting diagnostic fee of 170$ which IS NOT APPLIED TO ANY FURTHER WORK!! THIS IS UNUSUAL and means that they can't seriously diagnose anything or put the customer off somehow by excuses. Then he said it cost 250$ for the testing. Unfortunately for him, I have a backyard security CAM and it shows he never LEFT HIS TRUCK! I went out after a half an hour and he said he had already done the work. He lied. Then charged the 250$. I explained this to the owner and he didn't care and would not reimburse the 250$ As far as I can tell they don't fix or diagnose anything they verge on con-artists and are close to committing fraud as in claiming to do a service at the highest price they can make up AND THEN NOT DOING IT. I also had another group come out the next day..--RYAN AIR and they diagnosed the problem cleaned the coils--the trays were clogged they cleaned them and they checked the coolent levels BY ACTUALLY TESTING THEM! They added coolent ---this was all done in hour! And it was done with pictures and transparency. There was no frozen lines. Nor were the coils frozen. They were dirty and the trays were clogged. RYAN then came in and installed FILTERS custom built. This is a story of 3 or 4 terrible AC/HVAC vendors and STASHLUK being the worse of the bunch! AVOID THEM! YOU WILL PAY A PREMIUM FOR NO PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. read more

The price of $400.27 to unclog a toilet in less then 1 minute is ridiculous. Unless you are going to clean inside the tank and my whole bathroom! read more

Unfortunately, my experience with Stashluk was not a good one. Basically I was told that it was $150 for the tech to come out and diagnose the problem with my Fujitsu mini split AC and then once the problem was diagnosed they will let me know how much for the repair. Up to that point, everything went well as the tech showed up in a timely manner. He looked at my system for approximately 10 minutes then informed me that it would be additional $180 to run the diagnostic. I explained to him that was not what the scheduler indicated on the phone. He offered me the option of him leaving. I need to get my AC fixed so I agreed. I then called main office immediately and they indicated that I didn't have to pay the $180 and that they would call the tech. The tech worked for another 30 minutes and then informed my husband and myself that he did not find anything wrong with the system and that we had to keep the fan on auto. I expressed my skepticism twice as we had tried this numerous times and the AC continue to malfunction. He set all three inside units and indicated they are all maintaining the set temperature. I then came back a few hours later and one of the units is completely frozen and spitting out water all over the floor. I called the manager and that didn't resolve anything as he insisted that the tech was excellent. I am unclear whether the diagnostic was completed as the tech said it was completed and the manager said it was not. I did receive an estimate via email the next day for $1800 for a cleaning for both the compressor and the three inside units. I would no longer trust this company to do anything for me and I am out $150 without knowing what's wrong with my AC. read more

Stashluck installed mini-split units for us as part of our basement renovation. They've also installed a standby generator for our home. We've called on Stashluk whenever we've had a problem with the existing HVAC in our home. The quality of their work is first rate. Their technicians are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They work cleanly and efficiently. They show up exactly when they say they will. In short, what more could a customer want? We highly recommend Stashluk to anyone needing top flight HVAC and/or plumbing services at a fair price. read more

Great , reliable company who came out immediately when I called them. I even got a phone call from their office when my heating man was on his way:) Matt came & realized the problem within 10 minutes. He left for the supply house, got my part & promptly returned & fixed my heating system. He was friendly, honest and straightforward. I'll use Stashluk next time & every time I have a heating and/or cooling issue. They were wonderful!! read more

If you want to spend over four hundred dollars to have your drain snaked these are your guys.

These crooks tried scamming me. First they charged me $300 just for coming to the house and telling me what I had already told them - that the furnace fan was broken. Then they told the old story of the part being extremely hard to find. Then of course they said that part was very high cost. I found my part in 10 minutes for $150 when they said it was $500. I did the installation in ten minutes (and I am a complete novice) when they quoted $1000 for it. Stay away! read more

Let me start by saying Stashluk did install a new water heater and over flow tank at my parents place. $2000-2500 if I remember properly. They did the work properly but they are extremely expensive. After the installation we were still having a leak coming from pressure overflow pipe. They came back and said the pressure value from the street in the garage was faulty and that would be another $1000/3 hrs labor. After that we called another licensed plumber who did it in 1 hour/$400. Stachluk work ok just very very pricey. read more

i found Stashluk Plumbing to be quick, reliable and honest. They came to my house on two separate occasions for semi-emergency situations. I felt that the technician was knowledgable, friendly and gave us our best options without pushing for the highest priced fix. And their prices are comparable to most plumbers in the area. read more

Please do not use Stashluk. Unless of course you want to be charged $600 to replace a $20 capacitor on your condenser that won't start. They are ridiculously overpriced for the smallest of tasks performed. If you like being way overcharged, go for stashluk. But if your smart you would stay away completely. At least compare pricing before you go with them. All the best. read more

Stashluk provides professional service but, unfortunately, the past reviews are spot on - way too expensive. I just can't justify 430 dollars for a kitchen faucet install that took 45 minutes. :( Be sure to read the reviews that Yelp's robot deemed "not recommended" for similar thoughts... read more

We were very disappointed by how expensive Stashluk was for a small plumbing job. It was a scheduled visit during the week, not an emergency, yet we were charged hundreds of dollars for such a quick job. We will never use them again. read more

Stashluk was great when fixing our very old AC unit. We were in a bind when our unit broke in the middle of the summer. They were on time, professional and very knowledgable. The price was affordable and our AC unit is running great. The tech also gave my husband some tips on how to maintain the unit. I highly recommend them! read more

Great service again. We used them before for a sewer problem and they were great. This time we needed our sump pump repaired and Teri came out to fix it for us. He was friendly, courteous and professional and did a great job quickly and efficiently. We will definitely call them again. read more

The WORST customer service ever. Never returned phone calls and was a no show on 2 appointments. On the third, which was scheduled for noon, call the company and they say that no we were scheduled for 4. Went elsewhere. read more

I couldn't be more happy with the service provided by the team at Stashluk on our AC unit. They were extremely responsive, and the technicians (Andy and Brian?) were thorough and set very reasonable expectations. The office person was continually in touch until our part came in, and the final installation was even done off hours so we did not suffer through another sweltering night. Stashluk will be my first call next time I have an HVAC need. read more

Always available, extremely helpful and polite staff, clean up is great, never a follow up problem.

Everything was perfect. My large rooftop HVAC stopped working in the middle of Jan and my business was without heat. Stashluk had a brand new unit installed in two days. The price was extremely competitive with no extra charges for next day service. The owner Jim personally came out to talk to me and explained my repair vs replacement options. Then he personally made sure I had a new unit the next day. The service and price was the best in the industry. read more

I used Stashluk just last week to have AC repair work done. The last service repair was performed by Weltman. I regret not using them again! More so for the explanation and detail of how they came about for the price of your work completed. When I asked initially for a cost/labor breakdown I was told by an office employee that he had to speak with the technician and finance dept. I left my contact information to follow up with me on status. Never heard back. I called back for the second time and was told by another office employee "We just charge a flat rate". Overall, I think it was a very unprofessional experience never mind the co$t of the repair. I won't be using them again. read more

Had a pleasure doing business with Stashluk. Very professional, quality work. The service techs were very polite and knew what they were doing. True definition of you get what you pay for. They came to do some rework on my AC unit installed by another cheap plumbing/AC company. We will definitely be sticking with them for future installs and maintenance read more

The Stashluk technician who serviced my generator was thorough and professional. He reviewed the results with me and made necessary recommendations. read more

Save your money and walk your fingers on down to another plumber!!! They charge 2x's if not 4x's what other plumbers in the area do. Keep your cash and save the service charge don't get ripped off! read more

Just had Stashluk come today to do a quick once-over on our AC units. Great service, friendly, ahead of schedule and well-priced. I believe you get what you pay for so if you want quality service it may cost a little extra. Best part was that the technician said to call anytime if I have a problem and believe he meant it. Not to be gullible but just felt the service was more personable that other companies we've used. read more

Fast, courteous service...very pleased until I got the bill! $400 to replace an outdoor frost free water bib.....OUCH!!! Sorry, but we wont be doing business again! Tried to take your customer service survey...too bad its not longer available! read more

Terrible service. Quoted $1300 for the job that I got done for $120 from another plubmer. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

I agreed to the emergency call fee so i won't complain about that. Subtract that and the cost of the replacement sump pump and they charged what amounted to $375-$400 for a ten minute job. Ok, call it one hour with travel time. I know it only takes 10 minutes because i replaced the other sump pump a few days later. What a rip off. Don't use them. read more

Very professional organization. Polite and courteous customer service and tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice Job.
