I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism in handling a recent service request…read more I experienced a pipe burst and contacted Michael at 2 pm. He informed me that he would arrive after 7 pm. I, as a service technician myself, prepared everything and ensured that all necessary steps were taken for his arrival. Despite not receiving a specific time, given his previous work at my home, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and hoped for a prompt arrival. However, waiting for 7 hours without any updates was frustrating. It is crucial that when committing to a time, an exact time is provided, especially for emergency calls. While I have no complaints about Michael's work quality and pricing, the significant delay and lack of communication were unacceptable. After finally receiving a message stating he would arrive at 10:30 pm that evening or 4:30 pm the following day, I have decided to sever all ties with Michael and will not be recommending his services to others. Punctuality and clear communication are non-negotiable for me, and I expect the same level of professionalism from service providers

He gave me a quote to open a cometely clogged sink drain and we set up a same day time slot. It wound up that he finished a previous job earlier than expected and offered to come earlier. Of course I took the offer. Upon meeting Rob G in person, he was very cordial, clean, professional and took care of my clogged sink drain in less than 30 minutes. He made sure the drain was clear and fully operational and offered to call him back as a guarantee should there be any issue afterwards. Price was as quoted - NO bait and switch. I found Rob G to be very respectful, honest, and cares about his business/profession/work. You will see this from interacting with him but the proof is in his truck with how meticulously organized and clean it was. I am very happy to have hired him for the job and I highly recommend Urgent Drain for you DRAIN needs as this is their specialty.

No call came (after almost 2 weeks of waiting). I began my calls into an empty well of phone agents. After more than 6 calls (each informing me that someone would call me back - never happened), I finally got an appointment scheduled for 10/20. Tech never showed up and rescheduled for the 21st. Didn't show up. Meanwhile, I have had a refrigerator in the middle of my kitchen for 3 week. I would go elsewhere but my home warranty company hired them. In short, this is the worst run company that I have ever encountered.

We recently moved to the Jersey City area and needed a few plumbing projects done on our house…read more I requested a quote on Yelp and Dan's team got back to me right away. Dan came by, and quoted me to add a hose to the front yard, add a washer/dryer water hookup, and to add a gas water heater for our 2 unit house. We also got one other quote, and Dan's prices were very fair. We were able to schedule within the week for him to come by. He was able to do the hose and washer dryer within just a few hours - he was very efficient. He came by the following week to do the gas water heater install. We were really happy with this work, efficiency, and fair pricing. Everything he did is working well and I don't doubt he'll be there to help if anything were to go wrong. Will definitely be using Dan and his team for all our plumbing needs in the future.

We needed a new boiler and based on AI, their quote seemed to be in the right ball-park. We decided to go check them out further. After they examined our system in more detail, we were givren a quote of $16k, which seemed in line according to AI. When they came to fix the unit, they they determined that a whole new system would be far more efficient and easier to maintain. What a pleasant surprise to end up with a more efficient and easier to operate furnace. And, here's the kicker... The final price was 25% lower than the original quote. The only negative I can think of is that I have to go make another trip to my bank to deposit the money I didn't need to use on the purchase of my new system. If there was a way to give them more than five stars, I would! (Anyway, here are a few more stars for Stafford Plumbing and Heating... ***)
