Response to my message via Yelp was no more than 15 minutes and was answered by the actual drain specialist/company owner. He gave me a quote to open a cometely clogged sink drain and we set up a same day time slot. It wound up that he finished a previous job earlier than expected and offered to come earlier. Of course I took the offer. Upon meeting Rob G in person, he was very cordial, clean, professional and took care of my clogged sink drain in less than 30 minutes. He made sure the drain was clear and fully operational and offered to call him back as a guarantee should there be any issue afterwards. Price was as quoted - NO bait and switch. I found Rob G to be very respectful, honest, and cares about his business/profession/work. You will see this from interacting with him but the proof is in his truck with how meticulously organized and clean it was. I am very happy to have hired him for the job and I highly recommend Urgent Drain for you DRAIN needs as this is their specialty. read more

We would happily call them again for any water heater problems. Patrick arrived on time, was professional, and pleasant to deal with. He answered our questions and fixed our problem. read more

A new water heater was installed within five hours of us making the first call. Thank god we have water now. Thank you!!!

Our waste line was backing up into the basement. After an unsuccessful attempt to clear it myself, I contacted urgent drain, who came the next morning. They were communicative and resolved the issue after checking to make sure it was fully resolved. Would hire again. read more

Urgent Drain is highly recommended. Their response rate was fast and effective. They were able to schedule me same day, they showed up on time, got straight to work and resolved my problem. They invoiced me via email so I was able to make a payment online. They will definitely be the first ones I call if I have an issue again. read more

Had a situation on my bathroom that when the toilet flushed, the shower would flood up with water. I messaged Urgent Drain through Yelp and was quoted $400 flat fee to resolve the matter. The scheduling was prompt and easy. Robert texted 30 minutes before he would arrive. They looked at the situation and said snaking the drain would resolve the matter. They removed the toilet and began to snake the drain. They were prompt and cleaned up after themselves. A+ for that The fee came out to a bit more than what I was quoted. $400 for the pipe cleaning, $150 to remove the toilet and put it back on, and $20 for a credit card processing fee. Luckily, I had a discount through yelp but I would have liked to have been notified of the additional fees beforehand, so that was my only gripe. read more

I highly recommend Urgent Drain. I called Robert to schedule hydrojet and scoping of our sewer line. Scheduling was very easy, he showed up exactly on time and performed the job in a very professional manner. His quote was also the best we got. Top notch service/price/value. read more

I called a "national brand" drain clearing service and they couldn't clear the clog. Wanted to pump the water and dig up the sewer line. This would put 2 families in a tough spot for a few days. I called Urgent Drain and they sent their tech and he worked on it for about 90 minutes and eventually pulled roots and "baby wipes" out of the drain and cleared it. We did NOT have to have the sewer replaced. I had them come back a few days later to "hydro-jet" the drain, to clear other blockages. Nice professional people, quick and efficient particularly in an emergency. read more

Urgent came out to clear my kitchen drain. 2 techs were sent out to me they weren't able to get the blockage but they tried hard. They returned the next morning and were able to clear the drain with a different snake. There was no increase over the original estimate which was nice! The price for the job was very fair. The techs were nice guys. I would use again and I would recommend to others. Thank you Urgent! read more

This company is awesome! I called to have someone come look into my sewer and instead of just coming over to charge me he asked me basic questions over the phone and realized that it was a issue with just an appliance I had. Could've easily came over and just charged me a visit. read more

I called and spoke with Robert the owner, around 5 pm he said he'd be at my house within an hour and he was. He had to come and fix something that another company didn't do properly the first time I had the clog. He was extremely nice and professional, he had to snake my sewer line and did it fast and right. I highly recommend Robert and Urgent Drain. read more

Urgent Drain was super responsive, friendly, and punctual! Robert was very helpful and educational and explained everything to us. Would definitely recommend 10/10 read more

Called Robert for urgent same day service to hydro jet outdoor drainage pipes. He came in 2 hours. He was professional and considerate. What he quoted was what was charged. No extra charges. He spent the time to solve the clog and everything worked when the job was completed. Highly recommended. Would use again. read more

Came on time, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous. Would definitely recommend them to someone looking for simple drain issues.

Great experience with Robert and his team. We had a major clog on the day of the election and he made accomodations and came by in 3 hours! Spent the whole time making sure they find the source of the blockage (roots in the sewage pipe 100 feet away!). Very approachable when asked questions and provided real logical responses. I rarely give reviews but when its due, it's for a worthy cause. As for the bottom line - very reasonable compared to the others who gave mediocre results and on top - ripoff (I know them). These guys are now on my speed dial. Thanks, Robert! read more

These guys are top notch professionals. 45 minutes early to the job, courteous and knowledgeable. Two guys zeroed in on a purple cup the kid flushed down the toilet, causing pipes to back up throughout the house, and did it all in under an hour. Work is also guaranteed. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Recommended. read more

Last Saturday I noticed I had a clogged drain that was creating backup in my basement. This was super urgent but I doubted I could get someone to check it out same day. Thankfully I chose to call Urgent drain and 2 hours Jr one of their Plummer was on the scene. He explained everything step by step as he was discovering the issue and gave me helpful tips after fixing it. He cleaned up the space very nicely once done, and no issues since. Needless to say I'm very satisfied with the work and highly recommend Urgen Drain. read more

Called them after having snakes my pipes twice to no avail - basement toilet kept overflowing and water not reaching sewer - several plumbing companies were offering major jobs costing several thousands. I called urgent drain, they came, and worked on it immediately - they fixed it for a great price - no tearing up the floor or re doing pipes or unnecessary expenses .... That was 2 weeks ago and basement is dry and all is good!!! read more

Mekel came out to fix a clogged sink. We actually had another drain company come and they charged $300 to try and unblock our drain and they failed and recommended opening up walls to replace pipes. I called Urgent Drain for a second opinion and they were able to come out and fix the problem in about 30 minutes and make recommendations on how to avoid issues in the future. Urgent Drain is my go-to company for a clogged drain now! read more

Called Urgent Drain on a Friday due to water back up from toilet no matter where to use water in my house. Apparently there's a blockage in the main drainage pipe. They sent a technician to me and he spent two hours using snake, hydro jetting, but problem was not resolved. The technician gave me suggestions that I should consider to get a plumbing company to open up the road outside my house because he thought the blockage is somewhere between my house and the municipal main line which he couldn't handle. This conclusion proved to be wrong as the next day I hired another company and they resolved my issue using their hydro jetting machine. I would say it's either the technician Urgent Drain sent to me is not experienced enough or the hydro jetting they have is not powerful enough, anyway they charged me full price without solving my problem and also giving me wrong information. I am sorry to say I won't recommend this company to anyone. read more

Let me get right to it: Early this morning we discovered we evidently had a clogged sewer, and we needed good help right away. A quick yelp search revealed a couple of promising candidates, and Urgent Drain was at the top. We called and left a message, and within minutes Rob called back. He said he'd be here at noon, and showed up 10 minutes early. We explained the situation, he gave us our options, and we selected Hydro Jetting. The process was quick and effective. Thank you, Rob! We highly recommend you. read more

I would recommend Urgent Drain over and over again. They were able to squeeze an appoint in for me at a convenient time same day. The technicians were courteous and knowledgeable. They explained all issues in a way for me to understand and gave me several service options. They worked quite hard to rectify the issue and my main line is flowing beautifully. The main customer service line is awesome as well. Overall I would recommend their services to anyone. read more

Rob came to my home the same day as my initial request. I'd called two other specialists in the same week, they came out but did not fix the problem. Rob is professional, reliable and quick and I am glad to know that he is a phone call away. Thank you Rob and I will be recommending you to anyone who needs your services. read more

Officially added to the "good people" list. On the same day we called, Rob came out and immediately corrected our issue. In the ongoing journey of renovating an 1894 Victorian, we have run into way more bad contractors than desired. It's hard to put into words how grateful you feel as a homeowner when someone simply does a good job at what they say they are going to do for the price they said they were going to do it for. Especially when you don't speak the lingo of the job at hand - you just know you have an issue that you need fixed immediately. Rob checked all the boxes. He was very responsive in keeping me updated on what time he would arrive although we literally had just called him a couple hours prior. He was professional & considerate, had his own booties to cover dirty shoes (little thing that really is a big thing) and was willing to talk to our other contractors to make sure everyone was on the same page. He was honest and only did what we actually needed rather than what we thought we needed. Literally saved us so much money. He came in, did the job, was beyond fair and kind. Stop reading and call them. You won't regret it. read more

I contacted a few different companies because sewage was back flowing into my basement shower. The first to come out was roto rooter, who, and I kid you not quoted almost $900 to simply unclog a sewer line. I said absolutely not, and magically the price was reduced to $550. Since the initial cost was so incredibly high, I thought, this "new" reduced price is most likely to high too. I told the guy I'd think about it and immediately started contacting some other companies. I read the reviews for Urgent Drain, and based on that and there proximity to where I'm located, decided to contact them. The responsiveness was immediate with availability for the next day. The quote was definitely much more reasonable and sounded more in line with what unclogging a sewer line should cost. We set-up an appointment for the next day. They kept in touch with eta and arrived on-time. Time was taken to protect the floors, which I was very happy about. He got to work and the sewer line was unclogged in no time. They were basically in and out in an hour. Now that's what I call efficient! I had to come back and leave this review because since I've been dealing with service people in Jersey City, this is one of the very very few times that it turned out positive and the service professional knew what he was doing. So a big shout out to Urgent Drain for doing what they said they would, and at a reasonable price!!! read more

Rob and the Urgent Drain team were excellent. They came to help me unclog my kitchen and shower drain in my new apartment. I just moved in and the damage to the pipes were unknown. I called Rob and he gave me an honest price for the service and came the next day. He worked with my condo association to make sure we had all the insurance docs on file and was very professional. Rob honestly helped us in a pinch and we definitely will be calling him and the Urgent Drain team for help moving forward. Thanks Rob! read more

I just purchased a home in North Brunswick and had major sewage issues, basement flooded the works. I literally called urgent drain and they were there that day. When the workers came they went right to work. They put the camera down my trap, snaked my line and hydro jetted it. It was hot and they was grinding. At the end before they left I found out that one of the guys that was out there grinding for like 4-5 hours was the Owner Rob. If the OWNER grinds like that, I know all his workers do. I highly recommend him. You get top quality service at fair and reasonable prices.. read more

Very pleased with the Urgent Drain service. I happened to work with Robert. He responded very quickly to my inquiry. Scheduling and getting a quote was a breeze. Robert called in the morning of the appointment to confirm and yet again 15 minutes before arrival. This did help me with scheduling my own time. On arrival he was wearing a face mask even though the job was out in the yard. I appreciate that. I am the type who wants to know what is being done and what is going on. So he explained what he was doing and why as he was doing it. He provided advice on what can be done in the future but did not push or try to sell any 'extras'. Work was completed within the scheduled time. Overall - I am very pleased with the service. read more
