But they took the time to really talk to me. Through that convo we diagnosed the issue! It turned out my roofers didn't set the new attic fan to the right setting. Rich fixed that and also explained how to troubleshoot issues for future repairs. He told me what can be fixed and what can't. Super honest guy. His workers that he claimed graduated from HVAC training school, did not know what they were doing. Charlie was not much better. He advertises himself as a licensed expert HVAC installer, but he did not know how to wire the Bosch system. He claimed it was a new model, and he had not installed it before. After we had no heat in the sub-freezing winter temperatures, he had to call the company for step-by-step instructions. The noise level of this system is unbearable and sounds like a wind tunnel. We have to increase the volume on the TV when the heat kicks on. In October he promised to install a noise reduction system in the attic (at my expense). It is now June and I am still waiting even though I have asked him numerous times when he is coming. He says we live too far away. Well, he shouldn't have taken the job if it was too far to travel to our property. The service has been terrible. At this point he will not even return my texts and calls to schedule the spring maintenance which was included in the price. Needless to say, I do not recommend this company for any HVAC work. Months later I found out he closed the business and moved out of state! How do these people sleep at night?

We were having a problem with our Suburban PTAC unit, and Jonathan scheduled a FaceTime call with us to help us diagnose the issue, even before coming out for a service visit. He saw that we were pretty handy, and explained to us various things to try ourselves that would either diagnose or fix the problem. Later, while continuing the discussion with Mike, we were able to diagnose the problem and realized we could fix it using parts from a spare Suburban PTAC unit that we had in storage. Indeed, it was a quick 10 minute repair that I was able to do myself while at home, and now our heat works again! I really respect the non-patronizing, helpful attitude that Jonathan and Mike had, and that they were willing to give me the information I needed to figure out what was wrong with (and even fix) our PTAC.
