The first floor has a café, lounge, clean locker rooms with saunas and plunge pools, and multiple indoor and outdoor pools, including an adults-only option and fun water slides. They also have lifeguards on duty, which gives extra peace of mind for families. The second floor offers plenty of included classes, indoor basketball and pickleball courts, and a great Kids Club that keeps children active with real activities instead of screens. The third floor has top-notch weight and cardio equipment, guided workout tech, and recovery tools like hydromassage and compression therapy. There's plenty of space and equipment for serious lifting too. One of the best perks is the Kids Club and their programs. The teachers are caring and certified, and the activities are great. It's so convenient to drop the kids off for complimentary classes while adults work out. They even have Parent Night on weekends where you can drop the kids off for a few hours. It's an amazing perk if you have little ones. The swim program is another highlight. My kids love it and stay motivated when they see older kids dive. They really want to keep learning so they can do that too. The swimming instructors are caring, certified, and the coaching gets better as kids move up. There are always lifeguards on duty, which makes it feel extra safe. The family locker rooms are very convenient and always clean. Parking can be a bit of a hassle since it fills up quickly, but so far I've always been lucky enough to find a spot.

I was a little intimidated to be working with him initially. I've only had female personal trainers in the past, and I came into that session during a phase of life where I felt disconnected from my body. I felt very vulnerable and exposed to be reaching out for help to a really strong gym guy. During that session, Matt made me feel so comfortable. He was kind and encouraging. We talked about all of my postpartum challenges and he took notes on what mattered most to me and what I wanted from our time together. I really appreciated how he didn't assume what I wanted or needed just from looking at me. I left that session feeling empowered, hopeful, and safe in this space. (Not to mention he fixed my squat in that first session!) Over the last few months, with Matt's programming, I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost 6% of my body fat. He writes my programs based on my schedule and what I enjoy doing. He's adapted my workouts to support my pelvic floor health which was a very big postpartum concern for me. Any fear I had of bringing up my pelvic floor to a male trainer were squashed by Matt's caring/person-first approach to training. If you are feeling vulnerable, exposed or intimidated, but ready to get some professional support in the gym, I cannot recommend Matt more highly. He's the trainer for you! In addition to my work with Matt, I began taking Reformer Pilates classes once a week with Kate. It is the most fun I've ever had while working that hard! The Reformer machine is such a unique piece of equipment and keeps my brain really interested and engaged in what we are doing. The glide of the carriage and buoyancy of the springs feel so unique to other types of equipment. It's SO fun- horizontal jumping anyone?! But also, so challenging! Luckily for me, Kate is an incredible instructor! Her cues and prompts are spot on and always help me correct my form and activate the right muscle group. She moves throughout the room and provides individualized encouragement and coaching to each of us. Kate also facilitates an awesome vibe in the class! She is fun and friendly and has created a space that feels welcoming and easy to enter into, even as a total beginner. I'm extremely thankful for the team at Villa Sport who have made me feel like I belong while also achieving my goals. 10/10 recommend.

VillaSport provided exactly that. I frequent the spa and Rachael always welcomes me with a smile, remembers my name, and is great to work with. She delivers excellent services while answering my questions, educating me on skincare, and creating a relaxing environment during my facials. Both massages I've had at the spa have been fantastic. Most recently, I met with Richard after a workout, and he not only provided a great massage but also helped me understand how massage supports my fitness goals. I look forward to seeing him again. Because I feel comfortable at VillaSport, I decided to move forward with personal training. After speaking with a few great team members, I was connected with Matt. He has been everything I needed and more--patient, knowledgeable, a great communicator, and, most importantly, someone who makes me feel at ease in a new environment. The facilities are managed extremely well and appropriately for the membership fees. Very clean: hot-tubs, pools, steam room, saunas, showers, locker rooms and bathrooms, I am confident they have a stellar facilities team! We recently had a snow storm, the sidewalks and parking lot was properly maintained- way to be! Thank you, Villa Team! Your exceptional customer service makes working out much easier to show up and put in the work.

However, something as important as HVAC was not important since members' safety and health is not important for them. When I mentioned that it becomes really hot in there and I am worried someone will faint or even have a heart attack, they responded saying "nah no one will have heart attack". Even asking a notice in the door and trying to know when things will be fixed was too much for them. If you like group fitness this is not the La fitness to go especially in summer.

This is my least favorite LA Fitness in the Portland area. Typically I work out in the Pearl, but the pool was closed so I drove out to Beaverton. Dealing with an injury, I'm walking with a cane and was immediately disappointed that the front door did not have an automatic handicap button. Upon entering, no one greeted me, they were too busy chatting with themselves. While the pool has stairs in addition to ladders, the steps are not standard height. A few of them are about 1.5 x the height making it extremely challenging for those with mobility issues. Not only are they too high, they are not consistent. Very dangerous! Yes, they have a chair lift for those in a wheelchair, but for others who are disabled and have difficulty going up and down stairs, this pool should have lower steps the way the Pearl and the NE Weidler LA Fitness are designed. I'm surprised this passed code. Bathrooms were not clean. I had to find paper towels to clear out the mass of hair from the drain before showering. Parking lot is super crowded, hard to find a spot close to door, and being handicapped, not enough handicapped spots so all were taken. Tried out this location because I needed to get my workout in, but when the Pearl is closed, I'll drive out to Tualatin for a better experience.

To be honest, my initial experience with other staff members like Nathan and Joel was quite disappointing. They often appeared arrogant, exhausted, and lacked the patience to listen to customer concerns. However, I believe they are just "the bad apples in the bunch." An outstanding employee like Eric is a reflection of a great leader. I have full confidence that Mr Scott, the owner, is a fair and exemplary leader who knows how to train and select top-tier talent. I have been a member for about 6 months and really have enjoyed my time. Pros: -Women's locker room doesn't feel super dated. That was honestly a big reason I went with this gym, it was one of the few with a sauna/steam room that weren't disgusting. -Equipment/facility is generally in good condition and clearly proper upkeep is done. -Staff is kind and instructors seem to really care. Special shout out to Genevieve and Janet! -Yoga/pilates room is new and beautiful -This is a bit of a silly one but I love the room that used to be for bikes is now available for those who want a quieter space to work out if the other room has a class going on. Cons: -The class options for before/after normal work hours are incredibly limited. I am more of a class person and have been consistently disappointed with how few options there are. Generally, I think the gym caters to retirees/those who don't work a traditional 9-5 schedule. -Gym area is rather small. This definitely is more of a tennis club and the footprint of the area with fitness equipment is small in comparison to other gyms in the area. I have never had too much trouble waiting for equipment but when it's busy, it can feel cramped.

If i were manager, this would be resolved within an hour. You can't just "wait until the next shipment arrives in a few days". I come here everyday to work out. This is disgusting. They should offer a free black card membership for this screw up. It's insane to me that they're just going to let it stay like this for days. A manager handled a simple membership dues issue by yelling across the entire gym floor that my partner "could not work out until a fee was paid." This was done loudly, publicly, and with zero respect. My partner and I are both long-time Crunch members, and no one should be treated like that over a billing question. It was embarrassing to watch and even worse to experience. Situations like that should be handled privately and professionally, not broadcast across a room full of people. What made it more concerning is that employees mentioned this manager has a pattern of yelling at staff as well. If that is true, it is a serious culture problem, not just a one-time mistake. Crunch promotes a welcoming environment, but this was the exact opposite. I will be following up with management directly, but this needs to be addressed immediately. No member or employee should be treated this way.
